Hello...
I'm looking for an APP that will either hide or change my IP.
I'm trying to use Pandora, so i need a US based IP.
thank you.
Well I think you better of finding a US based VPN.. I'm using that myself to watch Hulu on the computer.. Have not tried it from my phone yet but pretty sure it will work just as well

I understand there are now some apps which allow you to watch digital TV via android. I wondered if you could recommend any and where to find them.
I had heard that one called TV.Center was quite good although I can't find it on AppBrain nor on Market.
Search on tv.centerr on Market although it needs flash, so i think the app is dependent upon Android 2.2
UK mobile telly
m.tvcatchup.com gives most UK Freeview channels, probably the best of anything out there at mo.
If you're running Froyo then you can also use the main site - www.tvcatchup.com and use the Flash feeds.
Note, UK only, no VPN trickery accepted either!

Can't find tv.centerr, using AOSP Froyo ROM. Has it been removed from the market?

Ashame I no longer live in the UK... any other recommended TV watching apps that are not geo-ip locked and ideally don't rely upon ADOBE Flash so that they will work on 2.1 ?
hey guys
thanks for your interest in TV.Centerr (tv.centerr.com)
Facts:
- Yes, it requires Flash 10.1 and Android 2.2
- It is only available in the Swiss (Switzerland) Market, because I haven't found something similar for other countries.
If you urgently need to watch TV, take a look at zattoo.com maybe this works in your country.
Try www. Yamgo. mobi
Work's very well but not sure if it's uk only

Just gone to www.tvcatchup/mobile and its quality for watching live uk TV. Yamgo is also good for viewing but doesn't have the content if TV catchup

Hi.
I am based overseas and I know there are restrictions placed on video streaming outside of US. If there are some ways to bypass this restriction, please share .... thanks
Not sure, but I'd say VPN, but it's more trouble and costly than it's worth. And I always feel like the VPN servers are snooping at what I'm doing. :-D
I live in Japan and Unblock-us works great for me, we watch netflix, amazon videos, etc, very easy to set up and it works perfectly on Kindle fire.

Register on unblock-us for a one week trial, change your DNS with the ones provided and then, if you thinks it's worth it, pay for an annual subscribtion ( as I did ). And honestly is worth every single cent, since I can also stream HD videos on my PS3 ( using the Netflix app ) with no glitches or interruptions.

Hi! Like Stocaprimo said, you can try the service for free first, just go to their website, unblock-us. I tried for maybe 15 minutes just to see if it really worked and was very happy with it, I could watch Netflix on apple tv for the first time and on kindle fire too and it's only five dollars a month, I changed the DNS on my router (netgear)with the one they provided and now all the computers and tablets plus iPads work great, it's like we were back in the US. Hope it works for you.
Alternative Options for video streaming of U.S. channels outside U.S.

I was facing similar problem as I am a big fan of US netflix but when I moved to sweden, was missing it. Then I tried various options to get access and thank God an expert suggested me unotelly. It is a DNS service, now I can get access to netflix, hulu and rest of the popular US channels without any glitch. try their free 7 days version and you will love it for sure. If you need any help, just let me know I will assist you to install it.
Does anyone know how to spoof MAC address of S4 Mini? Tried ghost address app, but cannot connect to any wifi.
I was thinking of using the terminal app (rick of bricking) but unsure of coding to do so
Also is there a way to do this permanently or is it always temp?
Any help or guidance would be great, I have searched the forums but help or advice only comes up for different models not the S4 Mini.
Cheers
Anyone?
Tried it via the terminal app and also MAC Spoofer but still unable to change?

A lot of stuff in unrelated threads is sometimes applicable to anything Android. This might be of use, the files mentioned do exists on the S4 mini. There is another link in that post which appears it might be useful too as well as the other things in the thread it is posted in
Hey there, trying to see if hola.apk works on AFTV.
I get this error message when I run hola and try to run an apk from hola.
it says
Error Showing VPN Service Dialog
Error trying to show the Android 4.0+ VPN service dialog
this shouldnt happen and it is a standard feature of Android 4.0+
but your Android device may not support VPN auto configuration
Can someone help me?
Thanks

If I remember correctly, the FireOS does not have the normal Android VPN client. There are instructions on getting DroidVPN client working in the following thread, but I'm not sure whether that would work in conjunction with Hola..

Yes, but you have to be rooted. Are you? I have no problems with my sideloaded Hola.

despite the fact i have a rooted aft i still got the same message about VPN auto-configuration mentioned above.
any ideas?
Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't Hola strictly a browser VPN? Meaning that it works in conjunction with specified websites and not the whole connection?

It's not just the browser - you get to chose the app that you want geo-located elsewhere and the traffic to that address is tunneled. Netflix, Pandora, Amazon are the sites I usually use Hola to simulate US location.
As far as the VPN auto-cfg message...I don't know, could be the AFTV version: I still have the old rootable one.
I have 2 fire tv's both running same software versions hola works fine on 1. The other gives me vpn error. They are mirror images of each other, I can't for the life of me find the reason one works and not the other. The only work around I've found is going to an older version of hola. Unfortunately it's the version that requires use of mouse

There are apps like "mirror" and "weak control" but the main issue is that screen recording may not work on your galaxy s2 depending on what rom/version of android you are using. You can then use a google chrome plugin to view the stream from the computer.
But i do know that using mirror op sender on your phone and mirror op receiver on your pc seem to work regardless of whether the others work. I suggest that you set the codec to .h264 and set the quality to medium otherwise you will get an appalling frame rate.
more quoestion
can you tell me where can i find these google plugin?? you have some guides in youtube?
VNC Server
Search "droid VNC Server" on play store. I can't post any links yet.
Needs root access though
