Anyone have trouble with it? I can get it to install and then select it in Settings but never can make it appear.
just something to try... click on an old txt message and click "tap to compose" and then when the keyboard pops up hold down in the area where it says "tap to compose" once more and choose your input method.. see if that works
Big Thumbs Up....
THanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When I type, I never cap the letter I so it stays lower case. With the original Tilt, it woudl change from lower to upper.
Is there a way to do this on the Tilt 2?
Thanks
I believe in your text message settings you can select for the auto correction to take place. Open up your on screen keyboard, click the little arrow next to the icon and then select the "Text input settings". Once there select any settings you wish to use.
BTW, I've never tested so I'm not sure if it corrects "i" to "I".
Or you could just type properly... there's that route too
i couldn't find a definitive answer for this, so I'm throwing my question out there:
I just moved to Starburst 1.3.3.4 from LeeDroid 2.3d, and now I find that Starburst, despite having Chinese language support, lacks the Chinese toggle that the stock HTC keyboard had (w/ LeeDroid had too).
Does anyone know how to put in the Chi language toggle? I've tried downloading Google's IME, and although it installed, nothing changed.
You have to change the input since you installed a new keyboard. Open up the keyboard in sms or something and in a text field, right click, well press down for few seconds and menu will pop up, select input method and change it.
Accidental discovery of solution

Yep, stumbled onto this solution when my finger strayed a second too long into the SMS text box. Whaddaya know, voila! --input method came up, and the keyboard with Google IME I installed showed up.
Thanks anyway, appreciate your dropping by to assist.
Anyone know why every time I enter Messaging, I see a keyboard icon in the top left and in it says "Choose input method" in the notification screen. I have Swype selected, and even if I select it again, it still remains until I exit Messaging.

Sent from my Galaxy Note II using XDA Premium.
When using the original samsung BT Keyboard, everytime we click on an empty field, the soft-keyboard also appears on screen.
is there a way to turn it of?

When the keyboard is on screen, go to notifications area and tap the `select keyboard ` option. On the top of the box that pops up, you should see a toggle to use of not use the soft keyboard. At least it works for me on JB 4.2.2.
I hope of helps!
use to be when using V2T, I could dismiss it when I tapped a wrong word. The keyboard would then come up.
Doesn't seem to be anymore. Is that an Android feature?
In other words, say I’m using V2T to enter some text and I want to switch to keyboard to edit. Use to be that when I tapped the phone, V2T would auto dismiss and SwiftKey would appear.
