I have a free solution to unlock Asus P505!!!!!!!

I have a free solution to unlock the Asus P505. I unlocked a Asus P505 locked to UK Vodafone. I pay $50, but I have the .exe file.
It´s very simple to use. Copy the .exe file to SD Memory, and exectute.
Tomorrow I will put the .exe file in this forum.

If you payed $50 to a programmer to make the file for you, it's okay.
But if you payed $50 for a commercial product to a company, please don't upload as we don't share "Warez" on this forum.

You _should_ upload this program. No company should limit functionality of their devices so that other company could make money on unlocking software.
This forum had some problems when wares and other illegal stuff was uploaded here, so you have to find a different place to host files and put here only links to them. I'd recommend rapidshare.de and similar services or p2p networks like eDonkey.
If someone is too scared to use stolen programs - it is his own life, and he can always throw away money on stuff that can be got for free.

yes...but I think that It isn´t necessary for unlock the phone.
If you use Hex editor, you see that the program is similar to xda unlock software. :roll:

is there someone who can tell me what version of rom, firmware and bootcode are installed with the vodafone uk asus P505 as long as this unlock seems to work only with that versions.
you can find latest rom and firmware on the asus support website: support.asus.com.tw but DON'T UPGRADE BEFORE YOU HAVE ULOCKED IT!!!!!! there are also the instructions.

Artemis ROM 1.13

Hi all,
I am trying to upgrade to 1.13 with the RRU art_tmouk_11311001_024990_wwe_ship.exe available from the Wiki but I get "Invalid Vender ID"
The reason I want to upgrade is because I bought the device in Geneva Switzerland and it comes in French. I need the device in English.
Can anyone help me get around this please? if at all possible? It would be very much appreciated as I already talked to their support dept and they say it is not possible.

your anger is understandable..., but its not the language they lock, but the rom provider specifics. just by the way, software is licenced to the hardware sold with( parallel to pc & windows ) ....so this is how you should see this. in most cases you will even lose warranty by cid unlocking.

True, but I bought the device HTC branded, on its own. It should be completely unlocked. Completely. This is so inconvenient, of well, do you guys think they will release more languages in future?

Awesome! Just did this procedure on my Epix running trashcan's WM 6.5 ROM, no problems. Have not tested it with an alternate SIM but the status page shows all radio buttons set to "unlocked." Am looking to buy a used G1 on eBay and will probably pass the Epix to my son with a pre-paid account so he can phone or text me when he needs a pick-up from somewhere. Can other phones be unlocked with similar methods, not requiring either cooperation from a carrier or purchase of an unlock code?

I did it prior to updating to win 6.5 from trashcan. The link says before updating to a certain version.
So its good someone confirmed that it would work even after updating.

I can confirm that works. I did it in 6.1 and upgrade to 6.5 and still works

2907 is MX (Mexico?) country variant. Anyway works fine for me, better than 2905. Faster and more stable.

13030 is only for Mexico?

I reset my Lumia 535 and updated all apps exclude Extra & Info.
But Interop Tool L 78- 79 and S dont work with the last Registry Provider. Nothing to choice in the Provider option, but they are list under Provider in the tool. I dont can change the registy with them.
Which app work on 10.0.15063.1155 to full unlock?

The same issue that I explained few months ago here in another thread, but didn't get an useful answer. I have a Nokia Lumia 920 device, and with many different builds of Win10m, either many builds of WinPhone 8 & 8.1 tried to modify Virtual Memory values, everytime following all kind of guides step by step correctly, but always failed to Interop Unlock my Lumia 920.
I tried to do it following guides that works with Registry Providers and without mentioning them, working with Interop Tool S, with Interop Tool L, with previous versions of them, with Custom PFD, with VcReg, ... with any of possible known tools &/or any version of them, but always failed.
Resuming, I don't know if those tools just works with counted and specific devices where the Lumia 920 is not included, if it is my own Lumia 920 that could have any kind of internal problem that I need to solve first (maybe flashing an specific ROM, unlocking/restoring Bootloader, erasing all and manufacture it again [hahahaha], ...), but I never get success with it.

In other way, I use to ask about the possibilities of get a dual boot or change OS on Lumia 920, after read that in few lower models were possible to run Android and install GRUB2 on them (what could give anyone the chance to select between 2 Operative Systems installed), and the typical answer is that "if you want android, just buy an android device" or "work on something like this is not relevant" or "is stupid to try it, because drivers of components and blablabla", and mostly answers with silence (no answer in months/years).
XDA is supossed to be a forum to try to collaborate by developing or helping those who develop or want to implement what others develop. But above all, developing things that could be a big challenge that we want to overcome, because after all, this is what did, does and will continue doing the XDA community the greatest dev community of internet; but with this kind of passive attitude and without any curiosity, (which are reflected in that kind of answers up related), doesn't help at all, and even less in the Windows section, so low and less advanced compared to Android, due to the lack of interest of the most of the great developers of this great family.
Recently I offered myself with my own device in another thread to work in something. Well, let's see in a future if I get any proposal or collaboration. Surely never.
