Hello,
is it possible to install the LatinIME.apk onto the HTC Desire WITHOUT root permissions? I don't want to root my Desire and the LatinIME isn't installed by default.
Thanks.

Is it possible to unroot the Motorola DEFY using z4root or by any other method?
I have an unrooted Moto_version.2.51.0.MB525.Retail.en.SEA15 at the moment. Want to make sure I can unroot (to get warranty, if needed) before I root it.
Yes you can use z4 or a newer version of superoneclick to unroot.
Sent from my MB525 using XDA App
You have to use superoneclick for 2.51, z4root doesn't work.
There isn't any unroot option in that. But you can flash the original sbf with RSDlite, it will clear the rooting (and everything else).
you can also just delete the superuser.apk and the su binary... probably also the busybox. just look what files get copyed to file system. no biggie
oh and btw: su binary should be the last thing on system platform you delete - otherwise you can't delete anything on system platform. You'd have to root for that xD
sounds logical, doesn't it? ^^
Thanks guys!
Hi there!
I'm using the Ordroid ROM, and after the removal of the useless apps, I've never used the root permissions so, for security purpose, I want to know if it's possible to remove that permission on that ROM (I DON'T WANT TO RETURN STOCK!)
Thanks!
In my opinion, you should leave it, because it can used to run certain parts of the rom and you may need in the future
Delete the superuser app
Just delete superuser.apk or supersu.apk from /system/app/.
Root binaries will stay but they're useless without the app.
you can gain full unroot from superuser app by sellecting full unroot from setting but you won't have root unless you reflash the rom or redownload superuser
Trying to find the folder in my Galaxy s3 that contains the apks ive downloaded and stocked in my phone so i ca move apks into the root ect. Used the Chinese SuperUser program thing to root my phone and then downloaded SuperSU. SuperSU removed the Chinese superuser automatically but is not in the root of the phone. I know where the root device apks are, but i can find the apks not in the phone root. Anyone can tell me the path please?
