So, Ive installed Opera Mobile 10 and see no reason to be using 9.5 as it doesnt have the website compression feature and such. However, I would still love to use the Push-internet feature that 9.5 has which automatically caches given websites. So is this possible with Opera Mobile 10?
Thanks

in my opinion opera mini 4.2 under jbed and mobile 9.5 for all pages that mini can not display properly.
This should probably be a poll. Unless you have a scientific way of measuring "best", all you will get is a bunch of opinions. And everyone has a favorite browser, so with enough replies you will have all the common browsers represented.
The right answer may be "it depends".
I have PIE, Opera and Skyfire, and they all have their advantages.

X2 on the Netfront 3.5...Tj
Opera Mobile 9.5 for everyday use, Skyfire when Opera 9.5 fails to open something and Opera Mini 4.2 when i want low traffic (when roaming for example).
Opera works best for me
Opera Mobile 9.5
And soon Opera Mobile 10
Coming soon!
I have an unlocked HTC Touch Pro2.
I tried the Opera Mobile 10 beta but didn't like it due to it's limited zoom function, so uninstalled and changed back to the pre-installed Opera 9.5. Previously, I was able to view all sites in its full desktop resolution but now I can only see certain particular websites in the mobile verison formatted view. I have ensured that "Mobile View" is unchecked in the settings.
The main site that seems to be causing this issue is www.4winmobile.com
Does anyone know how to correct this?

Hi all,
I want to visit a site that is written in flash, but I haven't succeeded displaying it. I tried with the default opera browser of the latest ROM, with IE, and with opera 10 I installed from the opera site. I enabled the plugins in the options, but again nothing.
Any ideas?
Skyfire browser supports flash. I've never used it, but have an older copy. PM me if you can't find a current one.
Pls search....
Skyfire...
IE on WM6.5 (T-Mobile version) supports an older version of flash. I was able to get Last.FM and YouTube working (but not hulu, and YouTube native app is much better anyways).
you can get skyfire from http://get.skyfire.com
i dont like skyfire. flash actually will work with the ie from 6.5 (sorta), and close to all versions of opera cept that its buggy with 10. and dont expect great playback quality with any on a mobile device. to enable it in opera there i used to use this (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=544770) but it seems to work fine for me using this opera (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=5902175&postcount=1669) on the stock 2.07 rom.
skyfire is your best bet. the latest release is wvga compatible too.
not bad

What ever version of opera comes in the stock Tilt 2 6.5 ROM doesn't support flash. IE has never supported flash by default. I had to install "Flash Player 7 Mobile" to get it to work. I still use Skyfire though. The new version has it's issues on the tilt 2 that I've found (distorted audio, browsing issues, etc), but hopefully it's just my device.

I didn't see anyone say that skyfire dropped windows mobile support, so its a wasted download, it was a few weeks ago... but its latest version was very awsome... makes me very sad to see it go. To my awareness there is no program that can stabally run web 2.0 type sites of any kind flash or other But other mobile OS's arn't much further

uZard supports flash. It's pretty slow compared to Skyfire, though.
Anyone using Opera Mobile 10?
I've purchased HD mini for 3 days only.
But, I've problem when using Opera Mobile 10...
My device will hang when using Opera Mobile 10 for a while...
Don't know the problem come my device or Opera itself...
I dunno man... my opera 10 works fine by me but I`m using Russian version of the program.
If you install opera 10, will the sense page with the opera browser still work?
suggest to reinstall the opera
Opera 10 works fine
I suggest to reinstall this programm.
Or try to close all other programms through Task Manager before starting Opera 10.
Good luck.

Yes.
I choose... not to use Opera 10 as default browser.
hey guys...it works fine our for me pinch-to-zoom doesn't work!!! :-( any solutions????
as far as I read Opera Mobile 10 does not support multitouch yet for the HTC HD Mini.
You cannot select it in the phone browser for easy install and if you just download and install version 10 it doesn't support it. I switched back to 9.7.
Same here downgraded to 9.7, opera guys are strange in 9.7 they support pinch-zoom in ver.10 they don't...
Actually, I find it moore convinient not having pinch-zoom on opera 10. For one thing, some pages require you to pinch zoom on specified-non-clickable areas if not, zoom gets over-done in some rare ocassions. In opera 10 you can just set the tap zoom to 100% and everytime you tap a page it zooms to where you tap. When you tap the zoom out button it zooms out. Plus the interface looks nicer. Cheers.
Hey guys, this is kind of out of topic but does anyone know how to change some settings on Opera Mobile to allow it to display the new facebook UI?
I've tried changed around the user agent, but didn't have any changes and I'm not sure what other appropriate changes I should be making in order to make it work.
Cheers!
Same here, using Opera Mobile 11.10
I'm still getting the old facebook mobile site. Any idea why? I even tried switching the User Agent between mobile and desktop.
Using rooted Samsung Prevail on Boost. Android 2.2.2. Opera Mobile 11.10
However facebook mobile works perfectly on stock browser and skyfire.
Nevermind. Found a fix here
