Annoying issue.

I have had to send my Leo back for repair due to white patches developing on the screen. As I had given my last device (an iPhone) to the missus, I have gone back to using my O2 Orbit until my HD2 is returned but I have just remembered why I stopped using it.
I have this really annoying issue where, after a random amount of time (could be hours, could be days), it simply won't accept incoming calls or texts, despite it seeming to have a full network signal. Outgoing calls work as normal but if you call the phone, it goes straight to voicemail and if you send a text message, it won't be received. However, as soon as I perform a soft reset the phone goes back to normal and any texts which were sent while it wasn't working get arrive. Then it eventually happens again. It doesn't seem to be a rom issue as I have had this problem with at least 5 cooked roms and the original O2 one.
Anyone have the same issue or is it, as I suspect, simply a case of the phone being shagged? I would love to get this resolved as at the moment I'm having to call it once an hour to make sure it rings which is a bit annoying.

im having the same issue but a small difference, i get this prob so frequently around 5~8 times a day...........
im jus suspicious on the battery.......
could u jus look at ur battery voltage when 100% charged and reply plz????

[Q] Random problem with receiving texts

Evening everyone!
I seem to have a problem with receiving texts on my phone. For example, I text my boyfriend a lot and sometimes when in the middle of a "conversation" I will not receive a text for a while so I just leave my phone and go on with whatever. And then sometimes 10 minutes, half an hour, an hour or 3 hours later I receive the initial text he sent me 10 minutes/half an hour/an hour/3 hours ago. This just happens at random moments and it really annoys me.
I wondered if there is anything I can do about this?
Some side info you might find useful; he has a Nokia E72 and a Nokia N97 mini and he uses the vodafone network. I am on the Hi network.

Same problem here. Sometimes messages don't come in untill ik press te on/off switch to switch on the backlight.
This indeed happens random....

Actually, I found an update on the HTC website last night and I downloaded it to my phone but it will not open because it is not signed so that did not really help either..
Glad to know I'm not the only one though

[Q] SMS Problems

In the last month or so my SMS has not been working properly. My phone doesn't send or receive all of my text messages. I will be sitting next to a friend and watch them send me a text and I will never receive it. It isn't every single text but it happens too often and is quickly becoming a big deal. It has been happening for the past month or so, which coincidentally is when I started using q Sense 3.0 rom. I have no idea if this is what caused it though. I also have problems where when my phone turns off, whether I restart it or if it dies, and I turn it back on it sends random old texts to random people.
Any insights on either of these two problems would be greatly appreciated.

Well since you said it kinda started to coincide with when you put that ROM on... try a different ROM for a while and see if it starts to work or not. That would be the first thing I would try.

JellyBean SMS problem

Hello all. I'm on Stock rooted jellybean and I have been getting this annoying little pop up that stops me from sending any texts unless I click allow after every text, I have noticed it happens when I'm texting 3-4 people at once. I also have noticed that a reboot see to get rid of the message for a while then it starts to happen again. So I was wondering if anyone knows how to permanently get rid of the pop up. I haven't had the time to decompile anything and look but any help would be appreciated. Attached is a picture of the pop up.

You might have too much of a life. Try lessening the amount of life you have and see if it resolves the issue. Until then, ignore your phone errors, because you've got plenty of life to attend to.
Seriously, it's always nice to see errors being reported, because you never know when you will be that person with the error nobody's heard of. Thankfully I haven't had this problem yet, and I've been very active on my phone, as I'm out of town for the good portion of this month. (Verizon has already warned me about data.. :crying

I have the same problem. I went through all the options, didn't find anything >_< its really bugging me right now, I might switch to MIUI because of this

Call Log: Answered Remotely

Today I returned a call to my wife. Later I checked the call log, and it said "Answered Remotely" in green text, instead of displaying her number like it usually does.
I called back, and asked her about it, she didn't do anything special, she says. We continued to talk a bit, and the call was dropped. She tried calling back twice, but the calls hung up as soon as I answered. The call log for those two inbound calls to me says "Answered Remotely" as well. It seems to be random.
What is going on? I have never seen that before.

It might be a malware, but I'm also experiencing the same issue. I'm concerned my contacts are attempting to spy on me or something, like wtf
