Evening everyone!
I seem to have a problem with receiving texts on my phone. For example, I text my boyfriend a lot and sometimes when in the middle of a "conversation" I will not receive a text for a while so I just leave my phone and go on with whatever. And then sometimes 10 minutes, half an hour, an hour or 3 hours later I receive the initial text he sent me 10 minutes/half an hour/an hour/3 hours ago. This just happens at random moments and it really annoys me.
I wondered if there is anything I can do about this?
Some side info you might find useful; he has a Nokia E72 and a Nokia N97 mini and he uses the vodafone network. I am on the Hi network.
Thanks in advance
Same problem here. Sometimes messages don't come in untill ik press te on/off switch to switch on the backlight.
This indeed happens random....
Actually, I found an update on the HTC website last night and I downloaded it to my phone but it will not open because it is not signed so that did not really help either..
Glad to know I'm not the only one though

hey guys. just got my touch pro 2. switched from an iphone, i missed wmo devices too much . im not a newbie with windows phones, have owned the wizard, excaliber, touch pro, and the xperia.
SOLVED-one problem i been experiencing with, which i also expeirenced in the past devices, is the alarms not going off. i already tried switching the time zones and back, and still didnt work. i searched for the answer, but all results was dated back to the first wm6 upgrade, and none relating to this phone, so im not sure if its just me or if other people have this problem too.
SOLVED-second problem i am having, well im not sure if its really a problem, is when i switch screens and go back to the home screen, the time shows 1 hour in the past, but then changes back to correct time in about 2 seconds. any help is greatly appreciated.
experiencing a third:
dont know if this is a network issue, but i have my aim linked to my text messages. whenever i recieve a message, it displays it like 10 minutes after the current time, and when i respond, its the right time. it mixes up the order of the messages.
4th problem:
screen is not turning off automatically or not going to sleep. i had it set for one minute, and the screen has been on for about 20 minutes already. anybody?
Which Rom version do you have? There were this kind of problems on some versions, try to get latest version.
Hi guy.
1st pb : Be sure you've allow alarms to ring while your phone is in silent mode or vibrate-only.
2nd pb : It's not a problem. It's a visual effect. It's the same for me on each custom ROM or official ROM. Don't be affraid ^^ It's the difference between GMT and GMT+1 I think.
thanks guys. im using the latest official 6.5 european rom. not sure of the name, it was given by itjie? but yea, i have the settings for letting alarms go off durign vibrate/silent mode.
edit: RUU_Rhodium_S_HTC_Europe_1.86.401.0

bump solved all issues but the 4th. any ideas?
I have had to send my Leo back for repair due to white patches developing on the screen. As I had given my last device (an iPhone) to the missus, I have gone back to using my O2 Orbit until my HD2 is returned but I have just remembered why I stopped using it.
I have this really annoying issue where, after a random amount of time (could be hours, could be days), it simply won't accept incoming calls or texts, despite it seeming to have a full network signal. Outgoing calls work as normal but if you call the phone, it goes straight to voicemail and if you send a text message, it won't be received. However, as soon as I perform a soft reset the phone goes back to normal and any texts which were sent while it wasn't working get arrive. Then it eventually happens again. It doesn't seem to be a rom issue as I have had this problem with at least 5 cooked roms and the original O2 one.
Anyone have the same issue or is it, as I suspect, simply a case of the phone being shagged? I would love to get this resolved as at the moment I'm having to call it once an hour to make sure it rings which is a bit annoying.
im having the same issue but a small difference, i get this prob so frequently around 5~8 times a day...........
im jus suspicious on the battery.......
could u jus look at ur battery voltage when 100% charged and reply plz????
ive jus asked this same issue here

Hey,
really big problem-
my texts are being delayed loads sometimes, as in the person doesnt receive them till like an hour later. usually when I text them again they both come through at once.
also I sometimes dont receive texts till like an hour after theyve been sent, usually they come in a batch.
also, when people tried ringing me today they couldnt connect and it said "your call is being diverted" or something.
whats going on?

Have you asked T-Mobile?
I kind of have a similar problem, sometimes.
Yesturday it took 4 hours for people to get my texts, i find turning phone on and off helps.
I just put it down to t-mobile reception being all over the place.
In the last month or so my SMS has not been working properly. My phone doesn't send or receive all of my text messages. I will be sitting next to a friend and watch them send me a text and I will never receive it. It isn't every single text but it happens too often and is quickly becoming a big deal. It has been happening for the past month or so, which coincidentally is when I started using q Sense 3.0 rom. I have no idea if this is what caused it though. I also have problems where when my phone turns off, whether I restart it or if it dies, and I turn it back on it sends random old texts to random people.
Any insights on either of these two problems would be greatly appreciated.
Well since you said it kinda started to coincide with when you put that ROM on... try a different ROM for a while and see if it starts to work or not. That would be the first thing I would try.
Hi all,
After days and days of searching the web and trying everything I can, I'm still having the same issues.
I came across this forum whilst browsing and had forgotten all about it. I used to be a member many, many years ago when I used to tinker with my HTC Hero (great phone at the time).
Anyway, on to my issue....
Since my swap back to Android from ios, everything has been perfect and I haven't looked back...except this one problem and its driving me insane. Basically I have a Hikvision NVR and cameras at home and use the hik-connect app to live view and get notifications. This is where the problem is! My NVR is set to send me notifications when there is a intrusion on the front of my house and although I get the notifications, they are sometimes 5,10 or 15 mins later. Its not all the time, sometime they are instant (although not very often) and if I have my phone unlocked they also come through instantly.
I've checked everything that I can think of including the battery optimisation settings etc.
Does anyone have any ideas? After here Im giving up with it.
