pls expects help me with this problem.
i downloaded htc prophet pm300 rom.(ROMUpdateUtility_NV_G4)
i updraded it with the above software but after that the fone power on with this
the screen has been divided into four parts.
one is red with ipl 2.15.0001 written on it and also spl 2.15.0001 written on the red part.
second part is also green with nothing written on it.
third part is blue
and the last one is white.
that all.pls help me with different software to upgrade. or if there is any solution pls help me.
i also need the correct link to download the latest english rom.

I got the upgrade from this site at ftp://xda:[email protected]//Uploads/Prophet/Prophet-roms/RUU_Prophet_2 151327_22113102_022021_Dopod_PDAMobizEdition_v101.zip
I followed the procedure given in the website given above. After I upgraded successfully everything on the phone was wiped out. Since there was no instruction to backup the files, I did not do it. Now all that I see is a four colored screen saying RUU in the top right corner, IPL 2.09 in the top left corner and SPL 2.09 below it.
Does anyone know how to get my phone working again? Do I have to install all the applications including windows mobile 5.0?
If yes, please tell me where to get the softwares for the Qtek S200 and info on how to install it.

Hi guys,
I am totally lost here. I kindda understand what the Wiki explains but to use it I get stuck. I am completely new to this whole business. bought a used blue angel (everything working on it) with a WM 2003 on it italian language. all I wanted was to swith from italian to english (or WWE as you guys call it). I do know that my ROm is 1.12.24 ITA Radio 1.03 and no value for extRom. that is what it showed when I tried to use one of the numerous updates available on XDA. first it showed me error 102 checksum error then country ID error. so I used the Ruu file and added the Checkceid_1 command as u suggested on wiki for blue angel. anyway I am stuck. now even the WM2003 italian is no longer available since I hard-reseted my BA. all I see now on the screen is windows mobile with some italian gibberish under it.
Serious help needed please.

Hi, when i upgrade my spv m700 from wm5 to wm6 It stock and i repair them but on my pulpit i see now white screen and camera button,contacts buton, start and time. I changed ROM a lot of time but white screen is there.
can you explain exactly what steps you did to upgrade?
do you have hard spl? which version?
if you're using olipro's hard spl, switch to des' crash-proof spl.. you can find links and a guide on my site...

I have used mij HTC P3300 for about 1,5 years. It has worked fine in the past, but this week my phone is a bit sick. It shuts down after a while, my screen fades out and i need to soft reset my phone in order to cal or text again. I thougt a update may solve the problem, but im a bit confused.
On XDA many updates are availeble, such as Rom Back&Blue V ? and more. I like the screenshots from tom_codon and his ROM's (Rom Back&Blue) but i don't know how to put them on my phone. so i need some help with the following problems:
What is the newest version i can use for my P3300?
Do i need to flash my phone first?
If Yes, how do i flash my phone?
Do i need more steps before i do anything?
On my info screen says the following:
ROM versie: 3.13.404.1 NLD
ROM Datum: 8/28/07
Radioversie: 02.94.90
Protocolversie: 4.1.13.44
ExtROM versie 3.13.404.102
My phone has no simlock, and has all the original software on it.
I know im just another Noob hitting the fXDA form, but i hope you can help me with a guide: Installing a new version op your p3300 for dummies.

Ok....you have a big problem..
I've read that if you have a fading screen,you might have your motherboard faulty.
So grab a phone and run to HTC repair center while you still have warranty.

Hmm, but all other fuctions on my phone are working correct. I may have given the inpression that is happens all the time but it ain't. Sometimes such as after a call, my screen turns black and if i hit the reset button the screen lights up an than it fades out. That made me believe that is is a software problem, so a newer version of WM may be a solution, or not?

It seems hardware related, though if u want to flash another rom, u can check the USPL thread on Artemis upgrading section, then flash the rom u want.
