running a web server ?

is it possible to run a web server on the desire ? to run some local php pages

Not sure about PHP but try servdroid.

I'm a bit puzzled about why anyone would want to do this (and that's speaking as a hardened web designer and Linux geek), but you could try this:

Either way, expect hard work and pain. But props to you if you find a decent use for it.

I have a small app that needs PHP to create the registration codes.
Having this on my phone would make it easier to do !!
Not to sure I want to root it just to do that though.

If it's a PHP applet with just a command line interface, I would use ConnectBot to log into one of my servers via SSH. Obviously no use if you don't have a connection to the server, but this phone doesn't really make sense without network connectivity anyway.

Removing download restriction from DOLFIN.Possible??

Is it possible to remove download restriction from Dolfin?? I tried to find dolfin in dumps (Trix) but not able to find it. May be if someone had find it already then please give me its location. May be there exist a *.ini file somewhere in which samsung as putted restriction on downloading files just like they do with multitasking of java app putting a restriction of 3 Apps max as you can see in pic.

No luck. It appears to be hardcoded in content download manager class.

So its not possible to remove file type restrictions?? can you guys do something for it??

[GUI] Ftp in Opera worked

Hi guys, today i try access in NAS (Buffalo LS-CL) at home with Opera Mobile and it's had worked in my mozart
- Only for device full unlock (custom rom)
- Folder create in NAS not set permission or password.
- Files (xap) rename (zip), and files image, text... to cause unchanged
- Copy from NAS to WP7 very fast (2Mb/s wifi)
- Use app wPhoExplorer to My Documents in you device, rename (zip to xap and install)

u can try "HFS file server" and use internet explorer

All WebFtp sites (Net2FTP) works with authorisation too. But, look for WP7 native FTP application.

Secure Folder: App Permissions Disabled by Admin

I can't modify the permissions on many (but not all) apps added to Samsung's Secure Folder. The permissions are greyed out and say they are "Disabled by Admin".
"You do not have permission to perform this action. Contact your organization's IT administrator for more information."
Clicking more information gives an option to delete work profile.
This makes most apps unusable in secure folder.
Does anyone know how to fix this?

I ran into rhis issue when I was trying ccswe for any device, not especific for samsung, so it had to be run in device owner mode, which required some ADB command to work, I found it very inconvenient, so I uninstalled the app, and all returned to normal, I have not needed to set the secure folder yet, and it surprises me that it would cause this problem, in my past notes I did not encounter this problem when setting it

My friends Note10 + soft bricked after an update and have no idea

Basically shows an error message which I looked up and the only place I've seen anything about it is on the subreddit called Intune which is a Microsoft developer tool for Android I think. Never seen this on any phone before and it's crazy I can't find anything about it.
Any help would be extremely appreciated.

The error message reads:
" Error

You can use unbrick tool on PC.

All problems with software can always be fixed.

Whats the name of the tool? You think that will fix it? Much appreciated.
