Hello everybody
my question is: can i use mini mmc on a qtek 9090? cuz i've 1Go rs dv mmc. it's a mini mmc with the adaptor so when i plug it the sceen of my m2000 turn on but i don't find it anywhere both "explorer" and "memory" and when i remove it the screen turns on too, so i just wanted to know if the problem is the mini mmc ( and other MMC of 16Mo works fine but can't do anything with it) or the dual voltage?
And one other thing if someone can help it's aboiut the charger for my pda i can't find anything here in algeriaso can someone give me the schema for the connector so i'll do it myself cuz there's no other way for me.
thx in advances for everybody

I don't know about the mmc card part for sure, but try it. You are not going to kill your phone if it doesn't work and the card is working normally in other things.
As for the pinout, here:

Thx for the replay
yes the card works normally on my N-Gage and other card reader but not in my qtek. so just i wanted to know what's the problem.
thx for the connector but there is an other problem is that i can' t find 22pin male connector in this country i think i can't find anything, so is it the same with data cable for Samsung of other mobil phone so i'll pick it from there and modify it???
thx in advance
mmc was an old std which was pretty much replaced with sd
and then they came out with some new cards
recall many devices dident support them
personal i use a microSD card from sandisk in a converter to SD
it works like sunshine
OK thx boss
so i should understand that only sd card (both mini and micro) works on BA ???? if right i think i've to bay an other one, no chance.
about the cable i tihkn i've the answer cuz the BA connector is 22 pins and as i found only BA have 22 pins connector so i can't modify any other one even mamsung cuz samsung connectors are 18 on 20 pins, so no chance to.
thx everybody for the replays,
yes... both mini and micro sd card work well on BA... u just need the adapter
Are there any other devices like this?
-portable microUSB charger
-keychain clip
-microSD card reader
That device is not a real micro SD card reader. It was a editing fail very commonly found on Amazon and other sites. The editor thinks that the USB port is a SD card reader, and it's pretty funny.
Hey guys, is there an external card reader that would plug into the micro USB port on the captivate? I've been searching for a while but all I can find is micro SD to SD card adapters when I would like to import photos from a camera right into the phone
It would be a shame to have to just use micro SD cards to use the internal slot. Thanks!

I dont know of one that exists. But if youre trying to import your pictures you are going to be better off just inserting the micro sd into your phone and then copying all the image files to the phone. Its essentially the same process you would do if you had an external SD card reader except you actually have to put the SD card in the phone.
here u go.

I'm not sure that there is such a beast that would plug into the microUSB, and if there was, I'm not certain that the Captivate has the functionality/interface to read and copy from the microUSB Slot. I'm pretty sure you need the computer as a go-between if the microSD isn't in the phone itself.
I think your best bet is directly putting the microSD from the Camera into the Cappy or you'll have to upload them to the computer first, then to the phone. Sorry
I've always wanted something like that, its a great idea but such a thing doesn't exist. Closest thing would be to get the flash drive adapter with the microSD slot built in.

Yeah, that's not really possible. For one thing it's a jack, not a plug. For another, it would need to power the device attached to it while still being able to be powered from the same port for charging. For another, it would need to be able to configure as a device or a host which would really be hard. And another, it would need to have drivers for SD readers, FAT, NTFS, and all kinds of other things.
this would probably be you best bet

Wow. I stand corrected. That's a really flexible controller chip. They should have shown a backup battery being used as well in the pics too.
a kernel with USB HOST mode,
a USB OTG cable
a USB to micro USB cable
a USB card reader
a SD to microSD adapter.
and you can do exactly what you want....
but you will need a back pack to carry all your cables and adapters.
One step could be saved with this

But nobody sells it, and who wants to splice USB cables?
This one?

How about this?

This part is odd:
- With own browser and ES browser
- File system format: FAT32 (does not support NTFS)
in general for any phone or tablet
an external hardrive like 1 or 1.5TB with USB will be a dream, u can power the drive with extra USB. But what about powering device with the screen? I think it will run out of juice much faster in this kind of setup. Your thoughts?
From the research I have done, it requires an org cable, an USB y-cable for hooking up an external power, and a from with org support. The two cables can be found on Amazon for 2-5$. You could use any USB charger or for portability... get one of the battery packs with USB output. Portable, but it is a lot to carry around.
You can also use a powered USB hub in place of the y cable.

Hi,
I just wanted to check before I buy one, can anyone who has the SD card adapter tell me if it handles SDHC cards OK as I'm looking at getting a 32gb to store music and films on.
thanks.
Well I have the usb adapter and can plug in a card reader and I use a cool little memory stick pro which has two micro sd slots in it, basically I have two 16gb micro sd plugged into a memory stick pro which turns them into one 32gb card . I bought it for my psp but through a card reader works fine with my tab
I have the Samsung USB and SD-Card adapter and it can handle my 16Gb SDHC card from my cam with no problems.

Thanks for all the replies, I've put in the order.
Hi guys,
I´ve read somewhere that you can plug a USB on the HTC One X and it will recognize it as mass storage, hence allowing you to play videos, music, etc from there. I was browsing on ebay and and all I could find was a usb to micro usb cable. I want to know if there is something like a micro usb pen drive that takes micro sd cards, so that I can keep things as small as possible with this solution. I don´t know if I made my self clear
32GB Micro SD card goes inside the pendrive -> the pendrive goes directly into the HTC ONE Xs´ micro usb input
Update: looking around I´ve found the Technocel UV9BB that can power up the phone (600 mAh), it has a usb and a micro usb. This basically turns the HTC ONE X into a duck taped version of the HTC ONE X PLUS My question is, can the One X read the micro sd and play videos from there using this device?
Here are some links

R: Micro USB Micro SD host?
Yes I do it with my action camera only problem is videos are not always fluid and smooth.they lag a bit
Sent from my wonderful One X ruined by the worst phone producer... h....t.....c.....
I´ve received the Technocel UV9BB but it doesn´t seem to recognize the micro sd card when I plug it into the HTC One X. Do I have to do something to activate it?
I would also like to use this device with the DSLR Controller app on the HOX. Their website says the HOX is compatible with this app (http://dslrcontroller.com/devices.php).
Any thoughts?
