Hi all I don't know if this is the right place to ask, and i've tried searching but all i found with some videos with no info.
i'm asking if any1 knows how to control ur pc from ur pocket pc using a wired or a wireless connection.
i've tried alot using windows remote that comes preinstalled on some pocket pcs but i couldn't get it to coonect.
could any1 help me with this, anyhelp will be appreciated

for windows there is the program called webcamera plus from ateksoft (no freeware)
this program works with a app on the phone and a driver on the pc, maybe it is possible to get this driver working on linux? (i'm not a linux guy )
Problem is these require Activesync installed on the pc for the cam to work and Activesync will not work on Linux.
Googled my way into this thread, and I have the same problem.
I also got an idea here. Couldn't the phone simply stream the video over the network or bluetooth? In this case all it would take is basically a "http v4l" driver.
What do you think?

Yeah, I think that will do the job. Do know any app stream the cam to bluetooth or wifi?
Moving from windows mobile base to android, anyway knows that with help of activesync it is possible to use PC internet connection from device.
From what I've searched it is not possible in android, just the opposite is possible, meaning use device internet from PC.

Hello All,
I connected and used vlc control and remotedroid from my phone to pc with no problems. Then I installed logmein, which works fine but now I cant connect to vlc or remotedroid.
This is even when logmein is closed down. My gut feeling is it may be to do with ports but thats where my knowledge ends. Can anyone please advise?

I'm now using my HTC Tocuh pro 2. I love the phone.
I have a desktop at home with good internet speed. So i was thinking if i can use my PC's internet on my phone . I mean share my PC's internet connection with my phone.
I do not have any wifi device or bluetooth for my desktop. So. i can only use my usb cable to connect the phone and pc.
Is it possible?

sorry i dont have the answer to your ? im new at this I have a ? for anyone on here though i have a htc tilt 2 through att and I was able to get android on my phone but when I stick my sim card in it doesnt work I was just wondering if you can use a sim card with it. Sorry ive looked at the forums and havent found an answer

Hi guys, I tried to search for a keyboard/mouse that could control my computer and my note simultaneously, but to no avail.
So, my question is there a keyboard i can purchase that cant output to both my computer and my note?
During my downtime at work, I'd like maybe surf the web and check my personal email without going thru my internet connection at work.
Are there any suggestions out there?
