Hi guys, I tried to search for a keyboard/mouse that could control my computer and my note simultaneously, but to no avail.
So, my question is there a keyboard i can purchase that cant output to both my computer and my note?
During my downtime at work, I'd like maybe surf the web and check my personal email without going thru my internet connection at work.
Are there any suggestions out there?
Thanks in advance!

May seem kind of weird and you may be asking why I want to do this.
I have a little minitop PC set up and hooked into a TV. The way it's layed out, a mouse and keyboard would not fit in at all. It seems logical I can somehow use the evo as the mouse and/or keyboard on demand.
I see two general possibilities...
1) Using Bluetooth (I'd assume it would be using an AOSP rom such as Cyanogens because of the BT stack)
2) Some sort of remote desktop software that *doesn't* log out the computer once the evo logs in. Windows built in remote desktop is great, however when you log in remotely it brings the computer to the login credentials screen where it says someone now is logged into the computer.
What do you guys think? Is it a possibility?
Have you tried Gmote? I think it's exactly what you are looking for.

+1 on phone my PC, its always work great for me.
Hey guys,
Just joined the whole android crowd, and for my first device why not the biggest phone they could load Android onto the Note II. I have been really happy with the device so far, well minus the fact the keyboard doesnt auto correct, and some other minor things. I like using AirDroid when I'm at home, but while I'm at work my PC is on a completely separate wired LAN system and not WIFI, is there a app out there that would allow me to send SMS from my PC through the phone similar to Airdroid without being on the same network? It doesn't have to be wireless, I can do USB, or my PC has bluetooth as well.
Thanks in advance, J

Hi,
I just got my new Note 2, and I'm wanting to set it up, and download all my apps etc. Now I was hoping to connect to the internet via my PC internet connection, but when I plug in my USB cable, I don't get any option like that. Am I doing something wrong, or missing something? I know you can do it over wi-fi, but I don't have access to that.
Thanks,
David
So no one has any idea? Or am I the only person to have this problem? I did look, but couldn't find anything.
You can't tether pc connection to phone.

Hey all, sorry if this is in the wrong thread. Was wondering whats the best alternative to tablet talk, that can still connect via bluetooth or wifi. NOT ONES THAT USE DATA! what do you guys use?
Hey guys just wondering if anyone has found a way to enable sidesync on the tab s and login to your phone without opening side sync on the phone itself.
Im seeing alot of reviews saying it would come in handy having this app and being able to use your phone if its in another room. But everytime I start the app it says to open sidesync on the mobile device.
Sorry if this sounds like a silly question but I cant figure it out.
Thanks in advance
The phone and tablet will have to be connected by bluetooth. Then you can just open it up on the tablet and it will automatically connect.
Thanks for the reply
I tried that with Bluetooth but it uses bluetooth as a internet tether only option.
Still can't open sidesync without opening the app on the phone.
Thanks again in advance
