I don't use Youtube a whole lot, but every single video i have watched using the built-in app has sound/video out of sync. This happens over 3G or wifi.
Anyone else have this prob?
Yep. Had out of sync youtube. The latest ones I played were less out of sync. Maybe if I keep playing youtube clips every day the difference will get less and less every day.
I also get this problem, but it tends to be intermittant.
It may not just be YouTube - have a look at this thread too:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=658530
I'd be grateful if you could tell me if the attached mp4 files have the same out-of-sync issue on your Desire. They do on my HD2 but they play fine on a PC or the older HTC Touch HD. It may therefore be a Snapdragon chipset issue.
Started noticing that most videos I play from youtube whether though the built in app or the flash player are out of sync, not sure what's going on. Some videos are worse than others but not seen one that was perfect.
Also had the youtube app freeze a few times on me, for example when the unable to play video window pops up. Had to kill the app.
So is this a more general issue of video playback for Snapdragon chipset phones or not? There's a whole heap of stuff on the issue, which affects both YouTube and other video playback on the HD2 here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=658136
I really would be grateful if some folk could try out at least one the test videos on the Desire and let us know if it is definitely in sync or not. Bear in mind that it's a small delay so you have to watch/listen carefully.
Thanks.
I watched both of the drum videos on both my pc and desire and found them both very difficult videos to judge, in the first the female drummers sticks are moving so quickly it kinda looked out of sync even on my pc. In the second the lip sync actually seemed ok on my phone, but with the transparent drum skin it was difficult to judge when the stick actually hit the drum.
I am currently copying a load of mp4 videos to my desire to do some more testing. I have also emailed HTC with my sync problems with youtube (mentioned that similar problem has been observed on the HD2) and wait to here if they have anything to say on the matter.
This is now confirmed as being a general video playback issue on the Desire as well as the HD2. It's therefore more than likely a Snapdragon chipset issue.
For a lot more info check out this HD2 thread, particularly post 94 and onwards from Desire users.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=6156976#post6156976
I copied about 6 episode of a tv show onto sd card which were transcoded by Doubletwist, and they seem to play back fine, if there is any delay its imperceivable as the lip sync seems fine (I have in the past calibrated sync timing for HDMI and optical connections in home cinema systems so I like to think I would notice any major delay).
However the sync is a real problem for me on youtube and other streaming media, here the sound is almost always unbearably out of sync.
Fwiw I find beebplayer to be hopelessly out of sync also
To prove once and for all whether it's just YouTube or not, you might want to try the two short videos in the zip file here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=6167143&postcount=128
The two clips are identical except one has had a deliberate 250ms audio delay inserted and one hasn't. Which one plays in sync on the Desire? Please let us know how you get on - thanks.
Well i just got the Desire, and vid 2 is much more in sync than number one,
Youtube is awful, iplayer a waste of time......
Considering these devices are sold on their screen quality etc, you would think you could watch a youtube video in sync, hell, Apple can do it on a touch, which is what i have to use for youtube, until I get the Ipad...........
Agreed the one with the delay added looks in sync, the one that plays fine on your PC looks out of sync. Anyone had anything back from HTC yet? I sent them a mail a couple of days ago not heard anything back yet.
Is this HTC issue or Google Android issue?
Someone has also Nexus One? How is it there?
Note that I saw this audio sync issue as well on my HTC Desire.

Definitely not a Google Android issue - it's the same on the HD2. It seems to affect all devices with the Snapdragon chipset. The sync problem doesn't exist on the Touch HD for example.
If anyone's raising this issue with HTC, they will appreciate it if you include the two files as an attachment. Then they can see exactly what you're talking about and won't just tell you to hard-reset your phone or use a different encoding method etc.
Wonder if anyone with an SE X10 is having the issue, that has a snapdragon so would prove a point. Had a quick search and can't find any mention of the issue on the x10 though.
How can they get this so wrong? the iPhone absolutely nails the desire in the media department - the quality of the stream and the audio output are far far better, and it really pains me to say that!
Response from HTC
Thank you for contacting us.
In regards to your enquiry about video/audio play back is poor,I can help you with that.
I suggest to call the hotline to book a repair to have the phone checked.
I trust that this resolves your query, please do not hesitate to contact us again if required.
Thank you for contacting HTC.
Best regards
Carola R.
HTC
I hope HTC take note that this is a problem and stop sending crap customer reply "I can help with that, send your phone for repair" responses.
hopefully a software update can fix this issue. Youtube and mp4 files are out of sync on the phone.
Anyone with this issue need to raise it with HTC or they'll do nothing to fix it.
They've now asked me for my software version after I complained about having to send them my 2 week old phone.

Hi
I'm expecting delivery of T-Mobile HTC Desire soon.
I have chosen this phone over HTC HD2 on a 7 day trial basis.
I know of the issue concerning bluetooth voice dialing on android phones and I am prepared to accept that there might or might not be a solution eventually.
I am a user of Thunderbird and use a program called Birdiesync for use with Windows Mobile phones. It just works 100%.
It seems to sync Thunderbird calendar and email will be fine on Desire, but I'm not so sure about thunderbird and contacts. For me most of my 500 contacts have postal addresses which are important to me, whereas only a small % have email addresses. It seems Thunderbird and Google contacts are handled differently and the few Thunderbird addons that exist for this issue are not 100%. Certainly when it comes to maintaining the structure of postal addresses.
Lastly I use a piece of software called SKScheMa 1.2.17 on Windows Mobile. This allows me to create a script that turns on bluetooth when phone is on charge and turns it off when phone taken off charge. I like this because when I get out of my car and go to a customers front door I don't want the phone still connected to the car bluetooth system. this software handles this for me. QUESTION: Does juicedefender handle this or can anyone else suggest another app.
It seems I am expected to give up quite a lot of functionability to move over to the Android platform, but I do believe it is/will be the OS of choice in the future.
Feedback and help would be most gratefuly received.
You almost always lose functionality when you move from Winmo, but you gain a nice interface and more fun apps. Eventually android will cover the short fall, it just depends how long you can wait.
The issue with the Desire v HD2 is not just software though. As nice as the AMOLED on the Desire is, the size of the HD2 is compelling. There really is no contest for picture and movie viewing. Some like the saturation level on AMOLED screens, but its much less natural than the LCD on the HD2, its just over saturated. Its not such a big deal on a phone i guess, but some pictures and videos do look quite wrong. I put both through a calibration using the gear i had for my Plasma and i can tell you the blacks on the AMOLED are great, but the colours are WAY WAY off. The HD2 is much better despite only being 65k colours.
Yeah
I'm not too sure if Android is for me to be honest.
I am fed up with poor battery life on every single Winmo phone I have ever owned. I use about 1500mins of tak per month. I really do need MS Voice Command, couldn't care less about playing mp3's watching vids etc. I like to be able to surf net and send and recieve emails. Because of my usage i will always be offered top spec phone for free. I just fancied a change, but even prior to delivery I may have to accept the fact that this latest phone is gonna have to be yet another HTC winmo phone that comes with an old platform, poor battery life etc. I may just need to wait another 18 months of contract before moving over to Android. I'm not too sure what winmo 7 will bring or lack or even if it will be available from here for the HD2
Although I am yet to get the Desire in my hands, it seems everything about the OS is a workaround to get the most basic of features working in a fashion that I am used to. The ability to sync contacts/email and calendar should just work. I just don't get it! Perhaps thunderbird is the problem, but I am not prepared to use Outlook. I use portable thunderbird on my main drive, and this allows you to copy the whole thin over onto a USB stick and use anywhere if required. hats just not possible with Outlook.
The HD2 is a great phone if you want compatibility with Office apps and the like. The screen is awesome and (if you use a custom ROM) bettery life is more than acceptable (2 days with moderate use).
BUT the Desire is a better all round phone out the box. I had to cook my own ROM to get my HD2 how I wanted it. I've not touched a thing on the Desire since I got it.
Perhaps you can help me then.
I really would love to be able to have bluetooth on when unit is on charge and off when not. Does anyone know of an app that does it. Does Juicedefender?
Whilst I may not have to meddle with the Desire it just might be beacuse nothing I want it to do for me is actually available.
1. No bluetooth handsfree voice dialing
2. No apparant flawless syncing between Thunderbird and Android platform
3. No bluetooth on when on charge and off when disconnected.
Whilst I fully understand my requirements may not be on the forefront of many mainstream users, they are hardly so obscure to be not available.
I just don't get it. I know the Android platform is the future, but perhaps for me I need to wait.
I'll give it the 7 days and see if the experience is so great that I'm prepared to give up the proper functionability I have come to expect from a phone.
I had the same dilema... HD2 or Desire..
I've got the Desire but it's going back to orange today... Don't get me wrong it's a good phone but the main things I use my phone for just don't work as well as in my winmo diamond... so, i'm getting the HD2 - I stream a lot of video/mp3s with myplayer, skyfire (tvactchup) and also use fpsece a lot on my diamond but the experience i've had with video streaming on the desire is'nt great.. I know they'll get it right when Full Flash is released later in the year (10.1? is it?) but I'm a bit impatient and I can't wait till then.
I've also tried Xdandroid on my diamond and although it's not perfect I should be able to run Android on my winmo device anyway - so that's made my mind up.
I've had my HD2 for about 6 weeks now, and I'm fed up with it. I have loads of issues with it, but the big ones are:
- Constantly crashes (dialer app mainly - I've tried various ROMS with no luck)
- On screen keyboard is useless
- Internet links impossible to hit cleanly every time, even when zoomed in.
- Smooth scrolling of menus/web pages is impossible
- Lack of a proper "App Store"
- No upgrade path to Win Phone 7
- Confused, counter intuitive UI layout (Window's fault)
- Phone is so large its difficult to hold/operate with one hand.
My wife took delivery of her Desire yesterday, and I'm jealous, although it has reminded me that the HD2 has a lovely *big* screen in comparison.
Desire first impressions:
- On screen keyboard is a delight to use
- Internet links are easy to click
- Nice smooth menu action
- Well thought out, intuitive UI
- Sits nicely in the palm, easy to use one handed
In terms of battery life no smart phone is especially good. I dont think you really lose or gain anything by switching to another OS if the hardware spec is basically the same.
Get both! haha

I'm pretty sure that Locale does this on the market, and I believe there are plenty of others too but I can't remember off the top of my head.
I would never go back to WinMo even if someone gave me the latest handset.

Okay I have also been told that Tasker does it too.
Now I need to be convinced about syncing with Thunderbird properly. Calendar seems fine, and email is easy for me. It's just how contacts are handled. I use postal addresses a lot and I pride myself on the fact that I have over 600 records all properly set out below.
Address
City
State
Postal Code
Home Tel
Mobile Tel
Work Tel
Very few of them have an email address.
Android/Google seems to require an email address so all of my contacts now seem to require a bogus email. That's ok, but Google also seem to want to handle the address more a a note than anything else, and it does not seem to look nice on my PC. How it looks on my phone will be the make or breaking point for me.
I personally like the desire over the HD2, the one thing that annyoed me about the HD2 was the screen problems and having to keep on sending it back to HTC until you finally got one that worked.
Apart from that the wm6.5 and the phone itself was spot on, the HTC Desire on the other hand has not been rooted yet but is damn fast, if not faster than the bulky WM. The only down side to the desire for me are the keys at the bottom of the device.

A large number of my contacts just have phone numbers and no email addresses. I tried creating a new contact with just a name and it work. Am I miss-understanding what you are trying to do?
Also setting profiles lite/pro probably handles the disabling and enabling of bluetooth.

I'm not too sure if this is a Thunderbird issue. I use thunderbird over Outlook because you can instaal Portable Thunderbird onto your hard drive rather than a USB drive. Portable thunderbird by it's very nature does not install anything into your registery. Therefore it is possible to copy it in it in full at any given time on to a USB stick and then you are walking around with all of your details to be used plugged into any PC. I suppose if I were to really sit down and think about this option it may well be redundant if I am prepared to use Google. However my way of thinking at the moment is to use google as nothing more than a server between my Android phone and my email client.
All I know is that the Thunderbird addons do not seem to be flawless.
I need to get the phone and experiment.
I really would like it to work.
No Voice Command or anything that offere bluetooth handsfree voice dialling was all I thought I was giving up by moving to Android. However that may not be the case.
Ok so I have 2 google accounts on the phone. I don't use the first anymore, so is there any way to remove this? I keep getting the "some applications use this and it cannot be removed (factory reset to remove)" which i really dont want to do!
Anyone figured out a work around?

As far as i know you have to do a factory restore, this is the only way to delete the account you have on your phone now.
So make sure you put in the account you will use all the time, other wise you will have to reset again....
hope this helps......
that sucks...its crazy they havn't imagined people may change accounts!
yes, I agree, but don't get me started, because this is just the the tip of the iceberg!
The email client doesn't work properly!
The native video player is pathetic!
The audio volume/quality through the speaker is a joke!
The headphone volume is hopelessly retarded!
The customer service from HTC is beyond contempt!
What on earth were those Google retards thinking......that we wouldn't notice that all of these things work properly on the iPhone!!!
Well I for one have had enough, I intend to sell this SPASTIC piece of garbage and and wait for the new Iphone!!!
And all you HTC fanboys out there, don't even bother to comment, because I really wanted this device to work, I really did......BUT IT JUST DOESN'T!!! Far too many bugs, and no possible hope of support from HTC. They only support the newest devices, and as they bring out a new device almost every month, what possible hope have we got for regular updates? Shall I tell you.........ABSOLUTELY NONE!!!
The only critique I have of the current Iphone, is the screen, but otherwise, it works straight out of the box, and I believe that they will fix this on the new model. So shame on you HTC for not listening to your customers, if you treat us with contempt, we will go elsewhere!!!
Can't comment on headphone volume as I don't use it as a media player - it's a phone - but speaker volume seems fine to me. Again, I don't use it often so can't really comment.
Only use Google Mail client which works fine, never bothered using the other client as I've got my laptop for that
Other than that I can't fault the Desire - it's owns the iPhone in every department bar music and there's no other phone I'd rather have. And I'm not an HTC fanboy - I'm an Android fanboy!!

Email works great for me, no issues at all, better than most platforms so far.
Video mplayer is fine. I use Act1 player anyway but full movies encoded from a BR look fantastic. Yeah no Divx, but it sucks and i have no Divx anyway so dont care.
Headphone quality and volume is fine. It meets the legal maximum volume in the EU for headphones, just like all devices have to.
Speaker quality isnt the best ever no, but but again does anyone actually use that for music? Really?? Its fine for voice.
HTC were great when i needed my HD2 repaired. Fast friendly and did a great job.
It is in general alot smother, and I have not had it crash once!
The Marketplace is much better, no crashing, its always slick, doesnt hang while loading more apps in the list, and the new way of searching is much better.
(However I cannot find a few apps, I assume they have been removed from the marketplace, for example MusicShark?)
Copy and Paste works quite well, took me a few tries to realise the paste section is where the text correction area is.
Faults I have noted so far are...
1. Not sure if it is just me because I have only tried once so far, but after pairing with my car headunit. My car headunit no longer detects the HD7 as a bluetooth audio streaming device, and only as a handsfree device. Which is very annoying.
2.When pressing search in internet explorer, it no longer loads a web page, but loads the bing application.
Overall, it makes the phone even nicer to use, it just feels that bit more responsive, and it way more stable!
Has anyone else used NoDo, who can confirm the above faults?
I am running it on an O2 UK HD7 with 32gb.
UPDATE: after 1 days usage
Im finding reception better, battery seems to be a bit better too. Still not had one thing crash on me.
Bluetooth audio streaming does work, however its still low quality like it was in 7004/7008, so I cant wait to unlock it again so I can change the registry entry.
Audio streaming still does not work for playing videos.
Push notification seem to work fine all the time now too, I had problems initially getting them to work on some applications (they would work after trying a few times/restarting) but now they just work.
I havent had chance to check for hidden wireless networks yet, the WiFi menu seems identical though (There is nothing to manually type in any settings.)
Overall, it feels now like how I would have expected the phone to feel when I first got it. Everything it does, it does it really well, and it is a pleasure to use.

That's how it's supposed to be.
I can remember a branded T-Mobile ROM where you've been redirected to a stupid search website after pressing the search-button but the standard action is opening BING.
We have three devices in this house hold, a HD7, 7 Mozart and a HD2 with Windows Phone 7, obiously the HD2 hasn't been released yet but the other two are much more reliable. I haven't had a single screen tearing on the HD7 since the update and both phones are much more responsive especially within internet explorer where I used to have numerous crashes.
Copy and paste works lovely although on occasion I have to tap a couple of times for it to pop up the option to copy.
Marketplace is more reliable and stable than the original RTM build and the search changes are greatly welcomed.
I haven't really noticed a change in speed loading application, although the only program I have ever had issues with is Bejewelled Live which takes quite a while to load even after the update.
All running nice and smoothly, just missing having Chevron WP7 to copy over my ringtones.
Just tried Bluetooth again, it works fine
I'm glad it shows the bing app instead of Yahoo search like it did before. Its just I expected it to load the bing web page
So all in all I find it perfect now, just need some sideloading back
You Guys receive the Official NoDo update or did you Flash the leak ROM. I'm Glad to hear that its a STABLE Update & Didn't cause any problem, otherwise this general form will be flooded w/ cry babies.
And what about connecting to hidden wifi networks and sound output while playing videos while using a bluetooth headset?

Good call - and not just watching video through the headset but using the headset's button to initiate Voice Commands and the headset's microphone to talk the command into.
Just posted a quick update.

After almost half year and MS still can't get this obvious bug to fix. The next update (Mango) will take another half year, and MS is totally silenced when it will get resolve (and who knows if that would be delay too base on MS's current pace). I am totally sick of it and finally have to leave the MS mobile camp after 10+ yrs relationship with MS (my 1st PPC device is iPaq 2210 and my last would be Samsung Focus).

I have to say one thing, some apps really do load faster!! Max and the magic marker used to take an age to load. Now it seems to load in less than half the time.
I wonder if the delays to the update were due to manufactures including bug fixs for specific phones, which means following updates shouldn't be delayed
Is scrolling in 3rd-party apps better (i.e. not lagging like it is now)?
Not really, I feel like it might have improved slightly... but that might just be because I want it to feel faster lol
i also had some first Impressions of my new nodo
new voice command sound, also understands me very good now.
new htc theme color (nice green)
mozart camera has autofous now (kinda annoying does anyone else have sound feedback, like clicky sound?)
but it does great pictures now, 2 shoots, both perfect, maybe it was luck but it seems it working way better now..
autofocus in video has improoved alot, also recording quallity has greatly improoved in low light and its more stable it seems! yay!
office version 14.0
sharepoint workspace mobile 14 , is that new?
overall its breezing fast, you press it, it opens. awesome!

The reason some third party apps lag is because they're badly coded, so no OS update in the world will fix this.
So ok here goes. I was playing around with the kin Twom and it's browser. So I went to the YouTube mobile site m.YouTube.com.it tries to play the videos but fails saying the phone can't play the video. Until one video. After clearing the cache and trying again sure enough it came. Right up. The name of the video was called lucky shot and it was the top favorites of the day. But it played. And played fine. Now I had no clue the kin could do this. So I tried youporn without any success but at the same time it sill attempts to play the file. Anyone else been able to get a video to play. I mean it looks like its supposed to but just not completed. Let's get to testing...
EDIT: I've been able to load some more sites. So I'm going to start a list of working video sites. Take into account that these sites only work when the planets are aligned and I'm assuming because it's the night of the super moon lol. But keep clearing cache and keep trying. The porn sites I list are only because there are very few mobile video sites that dont require HTML 5 or are device specific. So please don't judge me too harshly. It seems that 3gp and mp4 works for the most part.
www.porntube.com
www.YouTube.com
www.zoovision.com
mobile.traileraddict.com unbelievable quality near hd
m.revision3.com near hd quality fast site too watched an entire episode of destructoid
sap.splol.com/videos.html slow to load and audio is off?
Sites that don't work
m.comedycentral.com
m.funnyordie.com
Although i found the above quite interesting.. why dont you just post the link?.
You passed the no linkign limit and hell, just paste the vid id in other case.
How many "lucky shots" can be on YT? ****, it's not "a complex name that will identifiy a vid better" title...
I have watched lots of videos on Youtube. No problems at all!
Instead watching some *cough* porn *cough* on the Kin, a smarter approach would be to use wireshark or any wifi sniffer so you can get the MIME type of the request and response to the kin from this flash-usage websites.
Just because flash can have (much) more access to a filesystem that html and javascript.. you know..... ... and we can code flash and so.....
My kin plays videos fine. I've used youtube since I got the device. Occasionally it won't play the video. Or sometimes it is VERY laggy. At first I thought it was perhaps my internet connection but after trying it on my schools network(Which is business class and has download speeds of over 60mb/s) and encountering the same problem I decided it was the device.

I'm currently working on that now just to no avail. It looks like flash is completely ignored so I'm sure it's just using direct link MP4, M4V, or 3GP files and streaming those instead. Access to the file system (without bricking the machine) would be the most useful at the moment. Though I'm sure with as buggy as the firmware is it shouldn't be too hard to exploit the machine. It's just to get those who know what to do with an exploit into assisting us. Think about it. This machine is only $50 right now and doesn't require a data plan so it's essentially an almost smartphone that doesn't require a data plan. And if we can get android on it then it will be a smartphone without a data plan LOL. So I'll keep testing.
The reason I didn't post the link was I really didn't feel like hand typing the entire URL to the video when I found out very quickly while posting the video that quite a few other Youtube videos work just fine as well but it's really a crap shoot.
My Kin two m is terrible with videos. I've tried the wifi at home and work, both are fast networks, both are terrible on my kin. On youTube I get a second of video, 15 seconds or more of buffering. What's worse is that the videos don't even seem to cache so if you manage to stagger your way through a whole video and then start it over, it buffers its way through the entire thing all over again. The media player often freezes up my browser too. The other times the phone just says "PLAYBACK PROBLEM Can't play this video on the phone." For now I'm kind of giving up on watching videos on this phone.
Try clearing your Browser cache in settings and rebooting the phone. Also try mobile.traileraddict.com and let me know how your phone does there. If they play correctly then it's probably a localized YouTube caching issue. That just means that most videos you are attempting to view haven't been viewed much in your area. It happens with quite a few videos for me. It's the way that YouTube does it's video delivery service. The more people watch one video in an area the more likely it's going to be stored on a local node. It's also the reason some YouTube videos on your PC load quicker than others.

It happens with quite a few videos for me. It's the way that YouTube does it's video delivery service. The more people watch one video in an area the more likely it's going to be stored on a local node. It's also the reason some YouTube videos on your PC load quicker than others.

Hi! Thanks for the tips. I tried clearing everything and rebooting. youTube still lags like crazy. I didn't know that about the way youTube caches. That's a bummer. Just watched the Cars 2 trailer at traileraddict and it played all the way through, looked great too. Wish it wasn't so picky about where it gets its videos from, ha.
m.collegehumor.com doesn't seem to work. Gives a "This page cannot be displayed" message.
What I've found its....
From my experience on youtube with the kin 2, I've found that higher quality and longer videos (like around longer than 5-7 minutes) end up crashing the video player (or coming up with an error). I usually don't watch youtube on the kin for that reason (that half the videos I want to watch like minecraft videos don't work) but at least we know that the kin wasn't completely abandoned of youtube playback.

I think it's the playback format provided by the site that's causing the most hangups. I'm looking into making a site that would essentially provide stream links to the MP4 480-720p formats that are provided by Youtube but not streamed to this device by default. The format should work and it's going to be based on ps3youtube.com which is somewhat similar (sort of). For now I'm going to check and see about m.collegehumor.com. Check and try the regular collegehumor.com and see if it automatically switches to the mobile interface version of the site. Let me know how you guys fair. I know most people are going to give up but I'll figure out a way we can enjoy the KIN Two to the fullest.

Yup but I've noticed that if you go straight to http://collegehumor.com then it correctly picks up the device as a mobile and works just fine.
The device exports mobile description through IE data.
So in short, you can get the OS info from the javascript code.
Read only, and very briefly, all being said.

Nope. Sends me to m.collegehumor.com and videos don't play properly.
Tied posting it in arrive and focus sections, but got no replies.
Hey everybody, I am having some issues here, not sure if it is a problem with wp7 in general, or specific to arrive. I have Zune pass and absolutely love it, ability to stream music via Zune on the background kind of makes up for no Pandora or background play with other streaming apps such as slacker or last fm. My problem is with how choppy Zune streaming is right now for me. If I'm on evdo streaming basically stops when I get a text and it would say opening for about 10 seconds before usually skipping the song altogether... Now, I get that data connection is idle when text comes in due to no simultaneous voice and data being available on cdma but I've never had that big of an issue with streaming apps and Android. Over WiFi, same thing but not as bad, which really puzzles me as there should not be a problem while on WiFi?
Is this issue specific to arrive or all windows phone 7 phones have that problem? It seems as if I'm browsing the web, Zune rarely streams at all. Would going to att and getting Samsung focus fix this?
Zune streaming works fine on my Samsung Focus both over Wifi and 3G, though I havnt streamed it over 3G that much due to my limited data plan from ATT but whenever I did it worked gr8.

Hmm, when I browse the web with Zune streaming, it goes pretty smooth. The web page rendering may slow, as I at least think it would, when there's say large images that need to be downloaded and rendered, but so far it seems like there aren't that many hiccups. Absent that I'd say it's Sprint.

Yea I thought so too, hmm, now I am even more tempted to get WP7 on ATT. Althought, can't beat the plan I am on now , would be paying $90 more a month at the very least.
