I would love to see WP7 ported over to the EVO just to say "Hey is possible" but I don't think I would waste such a powerful device like the EVO on such a crappy OS. I mean don't get me wrong, there are some things that are cool about WP7 but is not enough for anyone to ditch Android and use WP7 as their primary OS. If you want to use WP7 then either buy a WP7 phone or go and buy an HD2. I have an HD2 as well as my EVO and I can tell you that the HD2 is great for the fact that it runs so many OS but with that being said, is not even close to the performance of the EVO.

DUDE, don't give people the whole is illegal thing. If that's illegal then I'm pretty sure that if you wanted to start breaking things down as far as what is legal and what's not....alot of what's done on here would be illegal. Things like flashing phones to different carriers and stuff like that.
The HTC HD2 can be flashed to WP7 and Android.....is that illegal? If so, then you better inform XDA that they need to shut their doors because they have a bunch of illegal activity going on within their site.......I hate people like you...I really do!

If it was done, it would never be put on this site. Microsoft goes after this stuff pretty hard. You have to have a license to run wp7. So could it be done? Sure, but not here.

I put that i have an otterbox case so if someone had a question about it they can ask me. Because I try to be helpful. In fact most of my time spent here is helping or at least trying to help other people. 90% of my posts are answering other people's questions. I spend a LOT of time on this site, and see tons of casual posters come in and clutter this forum up and it makes it harder for everybody else to find the answers they are looking for when they have to sift through bull**** thread after bull**** thread. But you're right, I could have been nicer about it but I'm tired and have a headache and don't really feel like being nice right now. And I have no manners.

If it wasn't for the overheating of 3 motherboards, I can't really fault the Desire. Very responsive and a joy to use. I will miss it. My replacement Galaxy S just isn't as quick.

lvnatic he's just using a custom launcher. whether the sense widgets are great is a question of taste i believe. Personally i like them but the alternatives on the market is just as good, and i really like the speed on aosp roms So i don't plan on going back to sense based roms anytime soon.
Hi guys, thought i would intoduce myself (even though ive been here about a week).
First off I'm in the US military im a redleg to be exact (field artillery) and have since about 2008, I'm married and have 3 kids. And also Im an asshole by nature, its nothing personal toward anybody ...as some of you may already know(and if im an asshole or offend anyone send me a pm and i will apologize).
On that same note I really not one for really caring much for what people think about me (including the guy right now reading this saying wow what a douche...lol) gets you farther in life and I am here to impress no one. With that being said I'm here to help out as much as i can (used to do some mild theming but its been a while) and soak in the knowledge and great roms the devs put out.
A little bit about my phone history...
I started with my first android which was a behold 2(sold), then i ended up with a mytouch(sold), then my reacent sgs4g (stolen), g2x (sold), and here i am with the GS2. in case you are wondering...i have a very short attention span when it comes to phones, im digging the gs2 though and think im sticking around for a while.

While I disagree with the person calling you names, which is totally uncalled for, there was no need for your "English" comment as well.
English may not be the persons primary language, but in an international forum such as this, you'll see grammar not being the best for some people.

Hahaha, I think the one about cloud computing is priceless....seeing how everyone is trying their best to catch up with Google's cloud offerings, even Apple knows that's where the user pull is at.
There is no denying that Google has incredible vision.
I remember google Androids early days, defending the concept and making iPhone users look/feel stupid. Ha ha.

I never used Android before 2.0, but I remember when my cousin showed me his G1 and was explaining how awesome it was when there were almost no apps for it yet.
I was on an Omnia at the time, and was extremely jealous...as I tapped at my screen with a damn stylus.
