Creating NBH from stock raw files - Touch Diamond, MDA Compact IV ROM Development

I was hoping someone can lend a hand.
I extracted all 4 parts of the stock ROM. Currently they are sitting in 4 RAW files. I read that I only need 2 of the 4 to rebuild the stock rom. I have tried using a couple kitchens but the result is less than desirable.
Can someone explain the steps of recompiling the RAW files into an NBH so I can reflash it if need be? It would be very much appreciated.
I have a stock RUU_SIGNED.nbh but not sure if it is Diamond branded specific. I have a Rogers Wireless HTC Touch Diamond.
Thanks and happy holidays!

hi Cruzz,
cheers for being the only one to respond, i know there are a lot of panda users who are likely to be following this
the problem for me and probably most others is as follows, i can pull the wm5 rom from my argon, but beyond that i am lost, will any wm6 rom work? and what do i need to keep from the wm5 build.
i admit building the rom is beyond my skill, will try but unlike hexediting an app, i make a mistake i brick my device.
will give your advice a try but can you reccomend a base wm6 rom i could use and also what files do i need to keep?
cheers
Chris
Same situation
I am also currently trying to cook a custom ROM for HTC PAND100.
I have an O2 XDA Argon and am trying to get HTC rom onto it.
although this is beyond my skill level also, the tools supplied by the likes of buzz/pof/etc (sorry for the ppl I missed) make this quite easy
Im am very close to cracking it but need a copy of an O2 rom image.
Is there an easy way to extract the ".nb" files from my device? e.g buzz' tool that dumps a ".bin" file or an easier method?
I have a copy of the HTC RUU and extracted ".nb" files if anyone requires this for comparison/wants to swap sum Panda files.
Cheers people.

O2 XDA Diamond official ROM (German)

Here you are:
http://rapidshare.com/files/127970437/O2_XDA_Diamond_1.37_RUU.rar.html
perfect - thanks a lot for your support.
If you want to make it like the Stock XDA Diamond, first you have to flash spl 1.37 back.

Thx!
Yeah, thanks man!
you are my hero (4 2day)!!!
Just wondering, is there a "Homezone" app in the Rom...or is there maybe any "Häuschen" in the TouchFlo3d? If there is a cab file it would be really great if you could post it here.
Thanks man!
Thanks, it is nice to have an backup of the Orginal Rom.
Is it possible that you load on Mega?, with Rapid I have problems it said no DL Slot free.

I recommend you use mediafire. Rapidshare is only 50Kb/s for non-premium users...

Yes there is a häuschen alongside the datum and above the uhr. A .cab is difficult since nobody investigated from where the information comes. maybe a system service like on previous models, maybe it's inside manila ...
thanks a lot.
Finally I can try some other roms without losing my guarantee.
A small guide or a link how to undo the HardSPL thing would be nice.
Greetings
iggboert
thanks a lot.
hier ist the guide to downgrade.
if you have unsigned hardspl, you'll need to use the SSPL package (i.e. the same package that is posted in HardSPL thread to flash the hardspl), just replace the NBH file with one of these stock SPLs.
if you have signed hardspl, just go ahead and flash with normal RUU process (no overwrite protection in that one, as it is already only accepting htchackers signed files, there was no need for that).
also,
STEP BY STEP HOW TO RETURN TO STOCK SPL - FOR WARRANTY REASONS ONLY!
0. be sure to first restore stock OS, and stock radio. stock SPL is always to be done last!!
1. download the stock spl package from post #39 in this thread.
2. download the package from post #2 in http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=400950 thread.
3. pick the SPL you want to reflash to (ONLY FOR WARRANTY REASONS), it's a .NBH file, replace the original .NBH in the package from post #2 with this SPL NBH.
4. run the RUU (or if needed, run SSPL-Manual.exe manually, then run RUU when it goes to black screen), it goes to 100%, reboots, done.
+5. to verify, volume down + reset, see version number on tricolour screen.

Hallo!
I bought a 02 XDA diamond. But it is in German (windows 6.1). I would like to change the language from German to English. Does anyone can help me how to do this.
I have no idea what is ROM and so on. I am completely new to this process. Shall I have step by step instructions please?
Thank you in advance!
Greetings!
Sony
whats the deal-will we be getting a WWE O2 ROM anytime soon? I love the blue tf3d
anyone has any luck with a separate cab created for this ?
can anyone sign this for me to use?
anyone ????
First of all I want to thank the guys posting the "reflash" Instructions again and again, so I finally found them too. Since Im trying out a lot with my Diamond (Not my first WM device, but first with cooked rom) I appreciate it, that it is possible to get back for warranty reasons.
There is just one little thing that I am not sure about yet:
I know:
- instal unsigned Had SPL
- Flash stock Rom (O2 XDA DIAMOND in my case)
- Flash stock SPL (I found he package in the Post mentioned)
I dont know:
- wich of the three versions in that spl-package is the one i need???
I hope so can tell me even though i hopefully never have to try this procedure!
Thanks so far
Hi and thanks for your great work.
My request would be for a stock O2 WWE ROM 1.93 if this is possible?

OS.NB from Part01.raw, Part02.raw

Hi guys. We got the CDMA Diamond unlocked last night. However, I am having making a OS.NB from the Part01.raw and part02.raw, so no my phone wont boot. If i sent someone these files, can someone make OS.NB for me?
Put the RUU_signed.nbh file from a official rom in the kitchen too, plus this two raw files. Download the Surface kitchen u find here and start to cook
We dont have an official rom yet, just a dumped rom, can we use the Raphael rom to do this?
But you find many official roms in this forum?! take on of them
Those roms are for the gsm diamond though, not the CDMA diamond. I think we got it figured anyways

how to reconstruct dumped rom?

will anybody make some tutorial for beginners with all tolls
dump rom is easy now all i need to now what should i do with those 4 raw files... id like to cook that dumped rom and make my own!
i have seen this tutorial but thats for kaiser...
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=337066
may i use it for diamond rom with same kiaser tools???
ty all
it's correct, you can use some kaiser tools
ty
already coocked, flashed and dumped rom is still protected?
coz i having trobles with kaiser tools im getting error at this point:
Choose the KaiserKitchen folder, Go
You may get different errors, but yes, roms are protected. Few cooks are providing kitchens, few are not locking. Too few IMHO..... as the software itself is not their property anyway....
Shipped roms are not protected - you can try how it goes with shipped rom, then you will know what to expect.
Good luck!

Creating a ROM from .nb files

Before I flashed the first ROM into my Artemis, I dumped the ROM using the steps from this page: http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=Artemis_HowtoDumpRom
Any one knows how can I create a ROM from the .nb files to flash back into my device?
Thanks for the help.
i've been searching for a tutorial of cooking my own rom for my p800 for a century here, but got no authoritative result.... pity!!!
