When I receive (or sometime even send) a photo by MMS, it ends up tiny. I'm talking probably less than 100 pixels long.
Has anyone else had this problem? What causes it? How do I fix it?

Twice in the last hour I've made calls on the phone, and twice the call has started fine, as you would expect, but then, the call goes completely garbled. An unintelligible digital mess.
Any ideas why, and has anyone else noticed this problem?
Sorry for the bump mods.
Has no-one else experienced this issue?
Could it be a carrier issue rather than the phone?
I just found it weird that yesterday two or 3 calls I made yesterday, in fairly close succession all had the same issue - ie garbled and incomprehensible audio.
Maybe I need to send the phone back?
I have the same problem on mine, but less frequently. It sounds like a Transformer and then I get cut off.
I'm with 3, so I just assumed it was a carrier problem rather than a handset problem.
Im on T-Mob and Ive got it 2-3 times as well!
hi my wife just go the evo. i want to know if this is a defect or just part of the program. i will explain as much as i can. on the text message screen when you see all the people you have text to. the last letter on all the lines text is kind of faded. does anyone notice that or is it just my phone?
If you mean when you are looking at all of the people you have texted, and it previews the last text to each of them, then yes, it's normal.
ok yes. thanks.
The fading symbolizes that there is more to the preview text you get on the All Messages screen.
For example: if someone texts you the following:
Person 1
Hey
It will not blur the last letter.
If someone texts you the following:
Person 2
Hey what are you going to do today. I think we should hang out and go get something to eat and drink.
It is obviously too long to preview so it will blur the last letter.
It will also blur if someone does the following:
Person 3
Hey
Whats up.
It will only show the first line and blur the y, indicating that there is at least another line of text.
That's must have been the only scare. Glad it wasnt anything serious.

Having an odd issue, and I can't seem to find any information on it.
It seems that randomly my text messages won't actually save to my phone. I'll get a notification of a text received, and the preview of it shows up in the notification bar, but when I go to check it (either clicking the notification or opening up the app), it won't be there. It's like I never got the message. It's not in either the stock app or GoSMS's database. It would do this when I used Handcent as well tho too.
Anybody else have any issues like this, or know of a fix? I'll have to reboot my phone several times, or even try sending myself test messages to see if it fixes itself or not.
Edit: seems similar to this person's issue: http://www.droidforums.net/forum/te...ggestions/90512-text-messages-not-saving.html
I've found that the quality of the pictures that are displayed on my Moto for incoming calls or texts is pretty poor - very pixelated and blurry. The pictures look fine on my phone when the phone rings - Anyone know of any way to fix this or some setting I could have wrong?
Thanks!

I second this question. Although it seems like I see a clear one every so often.
Having the same issue. Seems like a similar issue with early Android builds where contact photos showed up blurry when receiving calls. It's a bit annoying.

Yeah, whats the point of having this high tech watch if it doesn't do simple things like show contact pictures clear. Its clear on my phone....
For some reason it's pulling a tiny version of the contact icon (not sure why).
Using the beta version of WhatsApp uses the clear HD pics for WhatsApp, hangouts and phone calls on my lg g watch... Can someone please test it on the moto 360, as I would be getting one next week if it fixes the blurry images.

Thnx
Anyone have a link to report these bugs to Google or moto?
Yeah this was an issue on my G watch as well as now on the 360... hopefullly they fix it soon, sort of something that you'd think would be so easy to get right the first time...
It's definitely on a per app basis. If you share a calendar with anyone, notice how crystal clear their picture is for notifications? And as stated before, emails and hangouts look terrible. So 50% of the problem is that Google needs to update their own apps, and then the other devs need to. I also use Swarm a lot, and I try to dismiss those notifications as quickly as possible because they're so ugly!
I know this is an old thread but...has anyone found a fix for this?
Hi,
Basically it started happening before this release anyway but for example messages other than sms come late, like from whatsapp or tinder, wechat, etc. Mail application never notifies me of any email unless I bring it to the front and it checks that time. I set the checking time to every 15 mins so it's not me.
It's really annoying because it's not speed lag but notification lag and I am not running anything extra that I know of.
Any ideas on how to fix this?
Thanks.
