I read Opera Mobile 9.7 will come w/ gfx acceleration support via OpenGL ES.
Does TP2 have OpenGL ES support (in 6.1 or 6.5 WinMo)?
I tried reading the specs page, but it's hard to make out for somebody who is not well versed in the world of mobile CPU/GPU-combinations.

To what extent does android (or at least the flavour on the Hero) support hardware accelerated 3d graphics? From reading the G1 forums I get the impression it is, but google has some dissenting voices. So, I wondered if anyone knew for definite?

the hero has full Open GL ES 1.1 support which is basically a mobile version of the desktop OpenGL, the graphics chip isnt that powerful but enough for basic transparencies, and 3d acceleration, if you download the app Neocore off the android market, that will show you just how good the 3d is on the hero.

now is there any version?

There is no 3D acceleration hardware on any of the Omap850 based devices. It will never happen because of the lack of hardware.
libGLES_CM OpenGLES wrapper works on the Artemis, of course it's software accelerated but seems at least as fast as GDI and can be used in managed code. I use it for 2D rendering in C# and it's good and portable between devices.
Forget about more complex 3D though.
thanks guys but i know that raging thunder use a full opengl es 2 and w have only opengl es 1 and 1.1 and we can play it thats mean we can run opengl es 2 ??
- we have adreno 130 when i search about it i found developers work on adreno 130 to get in neocore 30 fbs !!!! i will post it when i back to home

you can change the 3d drivers to 11.26 and gralloc to 11.30
Raging thunder 1 working with 3d drivers 11.29 and gralloc 11.30

look i dont know more about GPU drivers but i have played raging thunder 2 and i played NOVA at once then it crashed and never work again so it will be amazing to make this games work but at least we have play alot of 3D games now thanks to developers

But GLbenchmark 2.0 (specially for GLES 2.0) cannot pass no one test.

erm... no. Our phones will probably never support OpenGLES2.0... Sorry, specs are paltry compared to new native Android phones. Old native Android phones with similar specs also do not support 2.0. C'est la vie.

I'm looking at it, and I see absolutely nothing of interest
Touch Pro2 is Adreno 130, which according to that document, is "OpenGL-ES 1.0+/OpenGL-ES 1.1". Nothing about 2.0 for our devices
I'm confused as to why you're sharing that with us? This was all brought up before
Dead by Daylight mobile is the only game that require OpenGL 3.1. Disasspointed that Bliss OS only supported 3.0, checked using AIDA64 app
I'm been looking a way to play Dead by Daylight mobile on emulator for long time with no luck. Emulators that support OpenGL 3.1 doesn't even run the game
Is it possible to support OpenGL 3.1 with compatible with Dead by Daylight? I'm running Bliss OS on VMware though lol
