hey need help, i tried searching around for 2 days but could not find a solution.
i flashed a EURO 6.5 official rom on my TP2 (rhodium)
i am in India
everything works fine
outlook sync works fine.. but windows live and myphone and IE / Opera dsnt work.. some internet connection issue.. strange??
what can be done for this??
please help..

... and I've seen that someone is now trying to use Windows Live also on WM5.

Yup, I am running Windows Live on my HTC s620 with Windows Mobile 5. It works 100%
You can get it from the ftp site, someone extracted it from some wm6 ROM, no idea how but it works fine

Try searching with a google advanced search - limiting your results to http://forum.xda-developers.com
Try say "BBconnect Trinity" or "Blackberry Trinity".

Graytraveler, try .84, 90 did not work for me with a stock Tytn II, but 84 did. Or I used Dutty's latest ROM from Xda-developers.com and .92 worked fine with that.
Hchickers, you can try this:
1. Hard reset.
2. Change device ID, from Start -> Settings -> System -> About -> Device ID to HTC_P3450
3. Install a registry editor, such as Resco (www.resco-net.com) or Total Commander (www.ghisler.com, I use 2.5 beta 3). Then edit
HKLM\System\Versions\AKU key, change whatever in there (like .0.0.3) to .0.4.2
Then soft reset and install Blackberry Connect. This method worked for some people (they weren't using 750, but still). It might work for you as well.

even if this isn't any help for people getting started with BBC on there trins, all new BBC updates get posted there.
p.s. If u dont have bb service from your network before!!, then bbc will never work.

Ive tried numerous schaps ROMS and cannot for the life of me get FOXTEL working on the Telstra network. Ive installed all the Telstra Cabs inc my places etc but no luck.
It seems as if the IE link does not recognize a 3G portal...
Any help would be appreciated as i cant stand this official Telstra ROM.

Hmmm, thats weird as I have run Schaps 4.22 and got it working fine with the Telstra CAB files. I take you have a version of Schaps with Streaming media? Also what Telstra CAB files are you using? WM6 ones or the old WM5 ones? Do a search here on for Telstra ROM as someone has all the CABS for the new WM6 rom update. From memory I just ran two cab files, Telstra V5.5 & theDefault WM6DST2007-2 and it worked a treat.

I installed the No_Video_Uninstall.cab, Telstra V5.5.cab and the My_Places.cab. Still wont work even with streaming media and telstra proxy activated. For some reason it wont recognize the Telstra 3G portal and i think that has something to do with it.

I'am alredy getting crazy about this. I upgraded my XDAIIs to WM5, ROM version 5.04.10, ext ROM is helmi c14 and I need to use my pda as a modem for the PC.
The problem is that when tapping to internet sharing everything seems fine but my PC doesn't find any PAN given by PDA.
I googled for 2 weeks already and I also tried some hacks to enable DUN but without results.

I never use my Blackstone over GPRS alot because i use everyday WiFi and today i decide to chek out the GRPS all is fine i make the settings and everything work i try with Opera and few other apps im able to surfing in the Net over GPRS but when i click on the weather in TF3D Update ... the weather start to Updating i mean is trying to Update but NOT Update at all also not writing any Error or anything just don`t wana Update!!!
Im Using NRG ROM Wm 6.5 with Manila 2.1 like from my signature so do anyone have an advace and know WHY i can use GPRS to Surf in the net also i update my Weather NON STOP over WiFi without a problem but when i want ti update it via GPRS not working?!

I would suggest a hard reset and if that dont fix it check if others who are using the same rom are having the same problem, if so report it to NRG.
Thank you guys i already post in under ROM section and hope someone to help with this.
did Hard reset few times... but this not working so what i think... is the Weather Work without a problem and i can update it via WiFi i never had a problem with my location or my weather also on the same time the GPRS work fine and like i say im able to surf in internet with Opera or other browser and i can do almost everything via GPRS but only the Weather can`t Update over GPRS so i think that this problem is somewhere in the registry and i need somehow to enable the weather to be able to use GPRS also not only WiFi...
