take 2 mins and help me?

sorry for bein such a nub but could someone post a quick tut on how to unlock my phone and load wm 6.1 on it? I've tried it, repeatedly, to no avail.
and ya i searched..

I think before anyone can help you that you will have to provide some basic information, like what phone you have and what carrier you are on.

i guess i just don't really understand the whole process like what i need to do. idk where to start

There is a section on the forum dedicated to the HTC Touch. Just go there take a few minuts/hours and read!! All the information you need is there.

i suggest, you start reading a lot on this forum before you start flashing roms. (nt talking abt searching, u already mentioned that ) it is always better to know how to get back your device in case of any problems
telling u, "if ur touch is elfin, use the uspl for elfin and flash a rom u like" would get more confusing for u . read a lot and start arranging the survival kits from here before u start flashing. in case if u need help on where to find the study material and which one to choose, pm me

Read the HardSPL thread concerning your first question.
ROM's are personal so you just have to try a few to see which suits your needs most.

first download a rom file call gpcall.nb0 and put in storage card
shut down ur device and press call and call drop button and dot release now click on onn device button and will in 20 minutes u will have new window

hmmm ...been long time ago. Please read over this post, and back to the first page if you have to. I got my first lesson there ..cheers.

OMg.. i try now the steps to upgrade my o2 stealth.. now i only see O2 welcome.. and when i try to press flag+ok+power button the system willchange to bootloader and say format2 file only two bars i have see and then the system reboot.. until now my unit is in welcome mode.. and nothings happen.. hmmmmm did i bricked my o2?

i have the 3vo room, and i was messing around with the tapres.dll i wanted to change it for another custom one and now my phone dosent starts it just stays in the loading image

I've tried SuperOneClick, DooMLorDs Zergling ... But nothing works. I might despair.
I hope someday a developer can somehow help us.

Ej m8! Do not try to downgrade it cause I did it when I bought him and of course... he died But the warranty was nice to me and they get me a new one... Cause it broke just 1 day after I bought him

Downloaded... installed over SUTLR, Succesfully installed but wont boot into it, just seeing the HUAWEI logo...

I *think* it's based on the same procedure as GriefNorth (hard to tell since the forum I got this from is Russian, but well yeah, it is Russian as well). But I've taken a Slovenian firmware instead of a Russian one.
I wasn't able to unlock the bootloader though.

i have the same problem. after i rooted i messed up the boot animation ,and after i reboot it won`t turn off even with the power button pressed, just stuck on the logo.i can`t go in download mode just reset with volume + and power pressed 10 seconds.after the battery was depleted i connected the charger boot up in download mode,and i applied a firmware from sd card but it gave me an error, see the attached log.i cannot remove the battery since it`s a unibody.any suggestion on what rom or procedure ?thanks

Can anyone tell me how to get my Vison out of DLOAD mode ????
