Can someone please post tne new wm6 htc home screen inc.the xml file & the jpg files too.

You have right Mr. chaznet,
but after wm6 upgrade i setup my phone with all my aplications, now is full...I made something wrong with homescreens & i can not find it.
I dont want to reset again...thats why i ask for the homescreen.

Unpluged During Flash!! Oh No!

I WAS FLASHING IT TO v20A RICKYS ROM AND IT UN PLUGGED....
what do i do?!? i tried to restart while holding the 2 soft keys ... and black screen comes up i hit the send key and it boots up to the HTC screen...and stays there forever...(well until the phones dies...)
help..i need somebody help not just anybody help..-beetles

Hu Rick i am very new over here deciding which version should i install my HTC is blocked by a local operator with original WM5
If for some reason i want to sell this phone with OEM software how can i restore that?
i was wondering with steps from 1 to 3 maybe? where is the original rom and how i can backup it?

Bad Flash?

Hello I have a HTC Hermes. I put "Schaper's WM6.1 Pro 4.40 Beta ROM." This is rom install up to 100 percent but when turn on get stuck with this message:

Flash a different ROM to your device.

I tried this rom OS 5.2.19949 (Build 19949.1.2.0 PV DVH but i cannot get a connection with AcxtiveSync to flash another Rom.
please help a hopeless noob !!!

Option 1: Put your PDA in bootloader mode [Visit this link to find out how: http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=Hermes_Resets] and flash a new ROM.
Option 2: Flash a new ROM from the SD Card [Visit this link to find out how: http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=Hermes_SDCardFlashing].
Note: If you have read the wiki you would have foub how to do it...

You cannot go to bootloader mode? Howcome? Why can't you do it? Have yu read the link i posted befre to see how you should do it? This is very simple... Just press OK+POWER and while pressing it stick the stylus on the soft reset hole and then release the buttons... Intead of choosing the SD Card flash you sould try the other process first... If you can flash normally why use another method...?

Ah, one day you may spend a little time and read some of the WIKI.

I did spend time reading the wiki but as this is my first effort it is mostly gobbledygook to me, we all have to start somewhere..... thank you once again for the much needed help.

Kevlar-Source, whats wrong with using the sd card method? Its a helluva lot safer than flashing via pc. No chance of jail sentence because a "cleanaholic" accidently pressed the reset button while wiping over the front of your wire mesh fronted screnn with a wet soapy clothe because, and I quote, "It looked dirty". Justifiable homicide if you ask me.....
Oh well at least the power didn't go o

There is nothing wrong at all with the SD Card method... I just thaught that, for a noob, it would be easyer and more straightforward to try to flash normally...

I install the unlocker & when the phone showtdown it never opaen again.....
i tryed Hard Reset but...nothing

If im not mistaken, you can flash from bootloader (get to it by Vol Down+Reset) connect to PC and then simply flash. If that dosent help, you will have to send it to HTC

My friend it does not respond to nothing no pc connection no charging not button respond only the processor is little warm sems like it is working........
but yes i'm afraid that i will go that to HTC Please Help

when you start your diamond...it starts in bootloader mode (diplay with 4 colours)....where it has writed "serial", when you connect it changes in "USB"?

Hi guys iam sorry or this title but i have a big trouble on my grand device after the update to 4.2.2 i lost the imei number and turned to zeros like this 0000000 so i cant make or receive phone calls plus it cant detect the network i beg anyone knows the solution to help me pleaaaaase help !!

Try flashing the official rom via odin from sammobile it's samsungs site

have the same problem and install android 4.1.2 the IEMI come back and i install new update for android 4.2.2 for other country version and the mobile come back

Have u backup ur efs ...
If not then take it to customer care
If yes then just restore efs
