How to make a backup of yer ROM?

Hi all,
I've red a lot in this forum, got lots of info on how to fix things (i really have!), but despite all the usefull info I got confused...so here's the thing:
I have a HTC Touch Dual (Dutch + Vodafone) where the language is ofcourse Dutch. To cut the long story short...I really like to have an English version of my WM 6.0. I know this can be fixed by upgrading yer ROM, but it's always recommended by ppl in this forum to backup yer ROM first before you replace yer ROM. The question is: How (with what tool) can I make a backup of my current ROM?
Somebody please help me out, I can't find any instruction in this forum how to do that, or at least paste a link where it's explained?

And the rom to maby ? because i'm looking for a touch dual rom from Vodafone with the dutch language ! please upload it there are many people who will appreciate it very much.

note: watch out for step 2 (the first link is the tool to make a backup, the second one is an explanation on which command to use to fix it, and what it should look like)

oow ok...i've a vodafone branded dual touch with a dutch WM6...i'll try to make a dump and up it..

Danish rom

Since the diamond was released in DK last week, it would be great if anyone could dump the rom as I know we are a few who are waiting for it.

Thanks. But I actually I knew about that threads existence and I did search before creating this thread. The reason why I chose to create this is first and foremost because the other one seemed to be dead and second because it was placed in the wrong subforum (As it is a ROM request it should be placed in the Diamond ROM development IMO).

I will get my 3 DK Diamond tomorrow. Let me know how I can extract the ROM and I will give it a shot for you.

Just bought one from 3, and flashed it with other rom, but it is nice to have the original as a backup

Can you extract the splash screen? coz i need it. I am on 3 UK and it would be nice o have it.

Change language - TOUCH HD

Hy there folks
i got a problem with my boss and i need to solve it but im uncapable to do it without your help. he bought a htc touch hd but brings portuguese wm6 .. i need to translate it - guess?? CHINESE :X ^^ yes its true.. he is a chinese business man and i need to solve his problem.
i ve reading some flashing utilities at wiki but i think i ve done something wrong. after follow all the steps the device reboots all the time as soon as shows 'CHINA' logo . I ve downloaded a ROM version from Simplified Chinese - RUU_BlackStone_Dopod_CHS_1.21.706.2_Radio_52.55b.25.28_1.09.25.35_Ship - first i used HardSPLWrapper_Blackstone. No errors appeared during installation of chinese ROM :!
Now i need a help

You´re in the wrong section. Under ROM development you will find under the stickies everything you need to flash a new ROM - even a Chinese one

All members of the forum will bring you to a little assistance as you progress a little by yourself. There is everything on the XDA to flash the KS20 without much difficulty. Takes the time to read the tutorial, use the existing post before opening again ...
The French ROM is available here. This is the only one I created most of my ROMs are WWE.
