Default Windows Mobile start window - Touch HD Themes and Apps

I just got the HTC Imagio.
I notice that the only way to get the Windows Mobile default start window is by selecting the Default Windows theme. I would like to have the HTC touchflow the way it is, except for making the click of the start to go to the default Windows Mobile start window instead of the HTC Favorites window.
Have any of you guys figure it out already?
Thanks in advance !

I'm not sure if I understand what you are saying - but if I'm right, you would need an app like AE Button Plus: With it, you can change what action/program is assigned to what hardware key!

text message app to go with Spb Mobile Shell?

Hey,
Im using Spb Mobile Shell for about a week now. I like it a lot, more then manila. But isnt there a text messaging program that i can use along with it. Whenever i want to go write a text message or email, it goes back to the ugly not slick windows mobile interface with no fluid animations and ugly scrollbars and all
Can anyone recommend me anything?
this was the reason i moved back away from SPB MS 3 - too much Windows Mobile for my liking...will keep an eye on this thread to see what occurs...

Check out Vito SMSChat. http://vitotechnology.com/threaded-sms-messaging.html. They just came out with an update and I like it very much!
Also in the Spb Mobile Shell threads that have already been started, you'll find a way to make Vito SMSChat your default text app!
See this thread. Scroll down to the bottom, you'll find a post by Lucas0511. He explains the steps.

Some people know the Executable file name that open the wm setting folder?
Sorry my poor en
if youre looking for the windows mobile settings, it does not run a specific application (as far as i know). could i know why you want to be able to do this?
if youre using the new manilla and can't find it, you go to the settings tab and then all settings appears in the lower left potion of the screen.

I want to open the Topaz's 'start menu' and define a shortcut to open the wm setting folder. So I need a Executable file . I know that I can go to the settings tab and then all settings appears in the lower left potion of the screen, but I just want to Achieve it in the START MENU.
Somebody help me?

Add Power to Start menu

With the original notification bar it's hard to go to the power options.
You can't click on the battery icon.
(I know, I can change back to the old notification bar, but that introduces other problems... )
So I was wondering how I could get the power option in my Start Menu.
Because you can only add Programs, not something from the Settings Page.
Install the Topaz Notification Manager, it works for me very well
You can create a shortcut to Powerexe.exe in the Windows folder, and add that shortcut to the Startmenu folder. After that, you can add power to the TFlo3D start menu page.
Fantastic been wondering how to do this thanks.

I don't know if this is different for the Touch Pro 2, but my Touch Diamond only brings up the battery level when "powerexe.exe" is run from within the "Windows" folder. Is there a different powerexe file somewhere else?
It's one and the same.
I'm using TouchOff, besides shutting down the TP2, it can also switch off the screen and perform soft resets. Just use the search function, and you'll find!

The New official Tmo 6.5Rom

So I tried this official TMO romon my Wife's phone. It seems fine but there seems to be no way of getting to the normal winMo settings. When I click on the settings icon from the start menu, it takes me to the manilla settings.
Has anyone found a way to the normal windows settings where you have all the other settings, like the remove programs, and all of the others?
Also what really sucks about it is that you cant just move the icons around how I want in the start menu, I have either move to top or move to bottom.
thanks,
Jeff

Thanks, I did nit try that as I guess I assumed that it was more manilla specific, as it is HTC and all.

[Q] don't like the touch flo windows

is it possible to change the windows back to the windows mobile 6.0/6.1 layout?
i am having difficulties with the touch flo programme and loved the older windows.
i know that the program could be switched from touch flo to 6.1 in the htc touch diamond 2.
Just go to Start>Settings>Today>Items, then uncheck TouchFLO and check Windows Default.
Windows Mobile 6 is your OS in either case, TouchFLO is just the HTC customized UI that overlays WM, as an alternative to the default Windows Today screen (AKA Titanium).
To get back to the windows mobile 6.0/6.1 layout, uncheck both Sense, and Windows Default. If you check Windws Default, you'll get the Titanium interface, which is nothing like the good ol' Windows Mobile 6.0/6.1 interface.
try spb mobile shell 3.5 it works great similar to android and very customizable very easily.
I paid for Mobile Shell and while I liked the interface and customizability, the way it displays and handles contacts made me stop using it.
I hear what your saying. what i did was put all my favorites as pictures in the contacts tab That was a nice way to scroll through my most frequently dialed contacts. There was no limit to how many you can put there. Mostly though I just started to type the name on the dial pad and the persons number just pops up and then press to dial or press open contact on the right side of the number and it opens into windows mobile contact list.
