Hello, and for the begining let me thank you all for the wonderful and useful things we can find on this forum.
I titled my thread like this because this is what I am looking for and through all the FULL and LITE roms I could not find one Lite but with Opera and Youtube.
Opera is not a problem as it can be installed afterwards but the Youtube application cannot be instaled on a Lite ROM.
If anyone can cook a ROM with this prerequistes I would be more than grateful and I think it will be a fulfilled gap.

i prefer use it with 12mb pagepool (native born with 8 mb)
like this change we can have 55% free ram in start (45mb) and 40% free in real use...
you tube and opera with flash work vety well

Not for Artemis
This one worked NOT fine on MY Orbit.
Installed it, used for 1 day, removed it. Better stick with Opera Mini 4.1 which I really love.
It runs really SLOW. Not only while browsing, but entering menu, modifying settings... Web rendering far more slow than Opera mini.
Beside, its original design is for VGA monitor (and 528MHz, 192MB RAM) HTC Diamond. The QVGA version was not complettely converted: still too big favorite, settings menu items...
However, nice browser. Maybe next device, not this Artemis.

Achile's Youtube Online Version 3 is second best rom.
I hope Achile will start to make a 6.5 for some serious competition with Dheewatara!

Amigo have simple friendly interface (i like amigo, maps are small) its just cutted wersion of my way 08

new homescreen (titanium)
new programs menu (honeycomb)
finger-friendly menus
new lock screen
it is only a .5 upgrade so ( just like from wm6 to wm6.1 ) there isn't too much to shout about, but as with the 6-6.1 jump i've found 6.5 to be faster and more stable than previous releases, and the finger-friendliness is much better. Plus i much prefer the newer version of IE
nice, concerning the Amigo : smaller maps, but are they still nice looking in 3D, what did they cut out of the maps of IGO8 then?
Concerning the finger friendliness : more on the today screen you mean ?
But i'd rather like the today screen in achile's rom (can't remember the name), maybe he or someone else can make a sequel with wm 6.5 with the same today

No programs and settings folders on screen, just icons direct from the strat button. Improved IE, but I don't use IE anyway - Operam Mini for me every time - if you haven't tried it, you must!

Yes. I try every satnav software I can.... Amigo is not worth the hassle if you can get Igo8 running... Igo looks nicest, but is really probably over-complicated. I always end up back at TomTom - it's simplest, cleanest, fastest...

Well, all I want is a clean ROM with office and Java on it - the most importnt thing is speed of response...

Very good rom but something is missing in : BT_SAP protocol.
I've found a cab for install it but it'is an older version and dont work properly.
Do you think it's possible to make a new version of this cab with the lastes version of htc sap protocol ?

Achilles ROM V3 is best but it takes too much RAM. I request achilles to pl cook WM 6.5 with touch flo 2d keeping in mind maximum available of balance RAM.

DWatara's 6.5 with M2D is best (you can disable the M2D it if you have memory short but I like it, no memory problems (and working with IGO 8 also) )
I've searched but only to find dead links.
Could any hook me up with the latest build of Opera 9.5 which will work on the HD?

I posted on the opera thread, to ask what was the lastest opera cab, stable for the HD... but the answers were not precise and i don't know which cab i can really and safely use... because i asked for a cab that can be deinstalled, in case of bugs....

try a cooked ROM. those usually have the latest builds of such things. opera mobile 9.7 beta might be worth a shot.
btw, what version/build are you currently running? (go to help - about)
I'm actually running Opera Mobile 9.7 beta. The ROM that I'm using doesn't come with Opera, so this is all I was able to get that was actually halfway decent from Opera's own site...Looking to see if someone has a solid 9.5 build.
I've used many on my Xperia, etc. that were pretty good but I no longer have the CABs on me...

I am not sure if it is IE7 but on Emrulez's Rom Version 1.2.1 it has an updated version of IE.
His version of WM6.5 is pretty much untouched so includes that and market place.
I think a lot of cooks are removing it as it isn't very good (slow and zoomed view isn't very clear), especially in comparison to opera. Although I don't know why they all put Opera Mini (Java version) on I much prefer Opera Mobile (Specifically made for WM).

The only browser with full flash 10 & silverlight support is Skyfire which you can install yourself.
Difference between 6.1 and 6.5 is the looks and 6.5 will probably have a little more ram usage...
For heavy applications its best not to have TF3D/Sense or disable it.
