[APP] LockMeLite (another screen lock app) :-) (1.3 RELEASED!!!)

Hi to all!
After trying almost every app that locks the screen and keys so it can prevent accidentally pressing the answering key or reject or both :-D i decide to build my own (had a little extra time).
This is a specially light release for HTC Diamond, HD, Touch Pro (v1.0 and v1.1 tested by me)
WHAT IT CAN DO:
The only thing that it can do is lock the buttons and screen when you switch on your phone or an incoming call has arrived.
USAGE:
To unlock just slide down a 45% (could be a user define value... later) of the screen and..... that's it!
SETUP:
No setup (yet) just create a folder in your \Program Files (ex. \Program Files\LockMeLite) and after you download the .zip file extract it and copy the LockMeLite.exe and the CloseLmL.exe to the folder you've just create.
Execute it and your good to go.
EXIT:
Want to exit the application?
v1.0 just tap 3 times on the screen and a message will appear.
v1.1 just execute CloseLmL and select 'Yes' on the message.
REBOOT:
After a reboot you must manually start the application again.
RUNTIME:
Requires .NET Compact Framework 3.5
This is the required runtime library from MS. If you don't have it.
If you are having problem downloading this try to right click on the link and choose "Save link as..."
After downloading copy the file to your mobile and execute it.

Great application. Looks and feel super. The only features i miss is to display missed calls and sms notification on screen and also incoming caller display. You writes that you already made these features.

maybe as an add on .
but a must is incoming caller . also on icoming calls the bottom bar is flickering ... the one where the keyboard icon sits .
i mean really keep it simple and fast .

Yes i know it's the phones app that is trying to come in front.
I will leave this "bug" for later release

this is exactly what i like about this app , simple and fast .
but i would really like to know how's calling me
just name and number ... for eg . simple , elegant .
must think of a way (clever way) to answer the phone safely . it happens often to me to reject an incoming call or answer by mistake when i pull it out of the jacket or pants (don't think dirty , ok ! )

So when you pull it out of you jacke or pants (i don't think dirty) you slide the 45% and also answer/reject the call ???? Men you have some clever jacket/pants
If the slide would be not from top to bottom but bottom to top ?? (if i get you correctly) or you just slide it in your pocket upside down.

Can you make the backgroud transparent? Would be better for incoming calls.
And an option to toggle off the 3 taps to end the program. Or make more taps cause if I pull it out of my pocket I happens that I tap the touchdisplay.
Keep this program so small as you can and it would be the best locking program ever I think.

Until i upload the .NET Compact Framework 3.5 runtime try to download it from MS
You must install first this on your pc and then get the appropriate .cab (ex wm,ppc,wce) from the install directory and install it on your device.

May we see some screen shots?

it's really simple ... black screen , clock on top . when you slide your finger down a % appears . when go over 45% it turns green and when you lift your finger the screen is unlocked.
simple and luvely.

installed the app and it works very well on power off/on. - very nice and simple.
Then I had an incoming call while it was off and the screen didnt come up locked - it was straight into the answer ignore screen and unlocked ?

hi there i'd like to make some changes to my HD and i don't know how to do it or if it's even possible. so i want to ask u, maybe someone will help me
1. is there any way to disable or turn off the slider to aswer a call? i want to pick up a call only using soft keys
2. is it possible to change the album? i like the one on diamond 2 or pro 2. is it possible to install some features from diamond2? the callendar is better as well.

it's in registry/HKLM/Software/HTC/Manila, you edit the HomeLSKPath for left and HomeRSKPath for right, also Text for what you want it to say
now, what exactly do you need to write to get s2u2, i don't know....would love to, great idea

1. I think you should completely disable touchflo3d's phonepad in favor of the default windows mobile one. You can do this by installing hdtweak and checking the appropriate option. I don't guarantee this because i haven't tried it anyway...
2. to have topaz/rhodium stuff you must flash a custom ROM (same goes for album). goto blackstone rom development subforum and you will find informations aplenty. Be warned that flashing a custom rom will void your guarranty and MIGHT brick your device (very very rare possibility, i don't think that in this forum not one single hd was bricked).
3. the link to that "opera tweak" as you call it refers to a hack to enable 54mbps wi-fi. it is not a opera tweak but a hardware/driver tweak. Increasing to higher numbers simply should not work and even MIGHT be damaging the phone's wi-fi receiver
4. no unfortunately not, preinstalled program are rom-dependant and rom files are protected and uninstallable. Again, flashing a custom rom that fits your needs is the way to go
5. as said fellow suisen, but you can also simply switch off the screen with the power button on top, when waking up it will be locked

Things missing from the MDA Vario V

Hi guys,
I just picked up my MDA Vario V and noticed that some things seem to be missing compared to the normal TP2
-TF3D2 style notification bubbles
-New notification manager
-Facebook upload feature
-Option to disable the icon screen you get when clicking on the taskbar.
Is there a way to fix this through cabs, or do I need to wait for HardSPL to come out and flash a new rom?

main reason why i stay clear of t-mobile branded stuff! they just can't help themselves can they? also phone will be locked to their network i bet! t-mobile is a good network but the murder these phones. sorry to see some stuff is missing but there may be hope for you in the blackstone forum! just have a look in there

Thanks for the tip. I now have the new notification screen and bubbles working. Only thing left is the Facebook integration.

This should get facebook working...
Do the following 3 reg edits...
HKCU\Software\HTC\Manila\
1. Facebook.Disable (Set the DWORD to 0)
2. Manila://people\browserlayer\peopleupdate.page.hidden (Set the DWORD to 0)
3. Manila://PeopleDetail\peopleView.page.hidden (Set the DWORD to 0)
Then do a soft reset of the device and it should work

Thanks for your help. But it does not work On the one hand now you can go on "Me" (contact card) and can see the facebook button at the bottom (it wasn't there before changing the registry settings). But by trying to start the "app" nothing happens. it's like a block..

What is it you're trying to start? When you are in "People", can you not go to "Updates" and link to a facebook profile?

I think so. I've got the german device, so I don't really know how the tabs are named on the english one. But I think I know what you mean. So I think normally you should have some kind of an "action" button for each contact where you can see the facebook status, etc.? I haven't got this tab. My tabs for each contact are: Details (with all numbers and adresses,etc); sms messaging, e-mail and phone history

I got the MDA Vario 5 as well. To my delight, it wasnt sim-locked.
So far, not much missing or added to the phones ROM by TMobile.
They have some Web n Walk stuff added as an 'Internet' tab and like the other guy mentioned, some notification stuff is missing.

Hi boys,
i don't have TP2, just TP1, but I am solving this problem too...i have a ported version of TF3D2 without facebook integration, but I was able to get it working.
I've attached all files that I needed for FB integration. Some files are hidden..
Copy only those manila files that are not included in your ROM.
Maybe the only needed file will be FacebookSDK.dll
copy all needed to \Windows\ folder...
hope I helped a bit
PS: you also have to make registry edit mentioned before.

No, I do not have this screen But after copying some files (incl. the FacebookSDK.dll) out of the fb.zip I got the following:
My own contact-card (screen2)
Contact-Card of a contact in "view-mode" (screen1) --> "Events-Tab" is missing
Contact-Card of a contact in "edit-mode" (screen3)
If I want to link a contact with a foto, I get screen4 --> After choosing "Facebook-Profil" I get the list with all my facebook contacts (screen5)
Edit: Sorry, the attached thumbnails aren't in the right order. So: "Screen2" is the first one, "Screen1" is the last, "Screen3" is the fourth, "Screen 4" is the third and "Screen5" is the second one.
I did not have any of these "facebook-links" in my TF3D-menus before.
Does anybody have an idea how to fix the problem with the events-tab ?

Multi Slider Incoming Call Screen (MSICS for short)
MSICS comes with three sliders instead of one.
The bottom slider is the usual one. No need to elaborate on that one.
The middle slider is the one I have been missing, is allows you to answer with the speaker on in one slide. (Instead of three actions in the original dialer: slide to answer slide down that black thing and pressing on the speaker icon.)
The top slider is the real interesting one it allows you to ignore the incoming call and send the caller a SMS massage with a predefined text (slide right).
Slide left on the top slider to send your location (as Google Maps link) to the caller.
This option is a very convenient way to reply to calls that usually say: "you're late! Where are you?".
MSICS is an idea for an incoming call screen. I need someone to create it.
The picture was made with Photoshop, this is not real (YET!)
If you want to help making MSICS real, please contact me.

thanks Szior, looks like your the only one liking this one...

I liked too, but I think that, only the ones that can help making this should answer, otherwise you'll receive dozens of replys saying "I would love to have this...", " I need this...", " I want this..." and in the end you'll get no positive answer.
Let's wait that someone can make this.

I can't find where inesoft phone does some of this. Can you point us in the right direction with a link showing it.

Seems like overkill. Mute is already an easy option with the volume buttons, speaker is only 1 tap after answering, S2U2 offers an sms option which is just 1 tap after ignoring.
I do like the map option. I would suggest hopping over to S2U2 and suggesting it to AC. The S2U2 option pops up the choice of sending an sms or not after you slide to ignore and I would think it could easily be changed from 2 buttons to 3 buttons adding a send map button in addition to the send sms and cancel buttons.
The question is how hard is it to incorporate finding your gps location, mapping it and sending that map when you do hit that new button. I'm sure it can be done, but how much work will it be and is anyone willing to do it. Adding it to an existing similar app already in use rather than yet another new app eating up more memory makes more sense to me. Just my opinion.

What about a 4 way slider in the shape of a cross instead? Each direction could have a separate action associated with it:
Push UP: Answer call and start speaker phone
Push LEFT: Answer call in phone
Push RIGHT: Reject call
PUSH DOWN: Reject call and send SMS message.

For a while, when reading, I was hoping it was indeed real.
I have no skills to implement on the WM side, yet I think the top slider is on you'd want to potentially disable/make harder to activate, if you do slide on the wrong one among the lower two everything is alright anyway, if you slide by mistake on the top one it could have bad effects

[Q] Few Questions

I have a Windows Revolution ROM by mike1986 with Manila TouchFLO3D2.1.38680 Gen.Y yozgotg (uploaded with MTTY) and I would like to customize it a little for myself (without cooking if possible) so I have some questions to experts :
1. How to enable / disable the icon / notification of new sms / email on the slider (this is a circle with the number of unread messages)?
2. Can I change the SMS manager to another? If so, how? I found some here a HTC Messanging Client v1.8 but it probably will only work with Sense. I would like in the Messages tab in TouchFLO have the right of the icon MMS (now I only SMS.) In addition, if there is any manila's MMS editor, Arcsoft is not finger friendly for me.
3. Is it possible to change size of the font in sms TFL3D tab "Message"? If so, how?
4. Dialer does not support video calls. Is it possible to change it to another? Does this will affect the speed of "charging" when an incoming call?
7. After some time TFL3D is not fluent but the consumption of RAM is about 75%, other programs are closed. Why?
8. Often, after soft reset, the battery can drop as much as 30 percentage points if it's normal and is it any way?
9. Can I change from the constant vibration on intermittent?
10. Can I add a Call History Tab without changing the existing Tab? Currently, I have to go in the contacts tab -> more to have such a list.

It sounds for me that you need a stock ROM like http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=611011 and instal SPB Mobile Shell 3.5.5., you will love it
