[REQ] Panorama bg 4 manila 2.1(old) ? - Touch HD Themes and Apps

Hio!
I read a lot of inquiries in German forums concerning a functioning panorama bg in manila2.1 (old) @ WM6.1 and I´m too
Now I have already brought in experience the following files for
portrait
67ea4038_manila
67fc58b9_manila
680e713a_manila
and this 4 landscape
6832a23c_manila
6844babd_manila
682089BB_manila
are needed.
Moreover, I have also understood like one from panorama pic 3 single pics have provided, as well as described HERE.
But I dont know if the size 512x512pix right 4 blackstone resolution or a better 800x800pix?!?
I have also read to the kind relatives contribution HERE about a panoramic bg 4 Sony X1.
However, I m demanded too much with many cabs and some attempts with cabs were fruitless.
I suppose I need only 2 files to the pictures say like they should be shown - manila or/and *.lua?!?
I dont need other features, only a pamorama bg 4 manila 2.1 12 tab´s.
Can anybody help me?
Thx 4 read and help
MaTT

I ask rotastrain with PM about my search and he need my unedit 5c9aa261_manila
Pls dont load this file down beside rotastrain himself!
Thx
.....to be continued

mmhh... he says he make it today but 14 days ago

Here ya go buddy. I'll need you to test this to get the screen position right. I only have a vga device, so I'm sort of guessing on the y-positions of the background. It's based off of my vga panoramic mod, which was improved greatly by thebootsman, and originally based off of rotastrain and NisseDILLIGAF's work . Please take screen shots of 1st tab (home) and the last tab (programs?). Do this for both portrait and landscape modes. Post them here at full size (or zip them up) for me. Also, this mod just uses the same 3 background files for both portrait and landscape (simpler that way, but once positions are figured out...it can be changed to have different pictures if you want). You only need 67ea4038_manila, 67fc58b9_manila, and 680e713a_manila (I included a 'hero' theme panoramic in the cab).

Hey many thanks 4 ur quick answer!

I have the size from the original link.
Furthermore I has converted the pics as manilas (3x 512x512px).
I hope you can start with it something.

Ok, I've made some changes to hopefully move the unpressed panoramic image down. It should be pretty close, but may need further adjustment. If the image is displayed correctly on the left of the homescreen and the right-side of your last tab (ie all the way to the edges), please just take a screenshot of the same tab with the icon pressed and unpressed. It looks much better when they are both aligned. I've left the hero background in this cab just so it is easier to see where the edges are (black is hard since it's against a black background).

First of all one more many thanks for your help.
Because I just again @ work am I have sent u 4 topical screenshots. Should these be useless 4 u so I will make of course screenshots from the Herotheme.
Thx

Were those screenshots using the second cab I posted - 'blackstone manila 2.1 panorama 2.cab'? The unpressed looks about the same as your first screenshot, but it should be ~500 pixels lower assuming I changed the right values.
Also, go to the settings tab and choose the default wallpaper (it should ask when you press to change the wallpaper). I think this should get it to show up on the home tab unpressed.

sry it was my mistake, I recognize not that u r change the cab
Here we r with the new screens
Another question: can u explain me what u edit?
many people @ german forums ask me about this solution, I think u edit this 2 manila and the lua (39...and 5c..)file?

Ok, thanks for the screenshots. I think now we will only need 1 pressed/unpressed screenshot from the same tab (so only 2 screenshots). Please try the new test 3 cab attached to this post. I've included a different background since it's kind of hard to tell if the images overlap exactly with the blurry hero background.
To move the y-positions, you edit 5c9aa261_manila with m9editor. You will see panoramaBkg. This is the section of un-pressed images. The 3 panoramic files are as Panoram1.qtc, Panoram2.qtc, and Panoram3.qtc. There is a PosY value under "panoramaBkg". Decreasing this PosY value will move the picture lower (increase to move up). Further down, you will notice "panoramaBkg2" with Panoram1.qtc, Panoram2.qtc, and Panoram3.qtc listed below. This is the 'pressed' image. The same thing about y-positions applies.
3941bc49_manila.lua can be edited with a .txt editor. This is the panoramic background script. You can control the horizontal positions, as well as several other things. The horizontal position should be set since fine since it's controlled by Panosize. For WVGA, it's 696 pixels (800 -52 top taskbar -52 bottom softkeybar = 696). After you are done editing the .lua file, you need to open m9editor and go to directory containing 3941bc49_manila.lua and 3941bc49_manila. Then right-click on 3941bc49_manila and choose to 'compile and import'. This will make the changes you made on 3941bc49_manila.lua (decompiled script) into the actual .lua script (3941bc49_manila).
Also, if you'd like to get this working in landscape mode with the screen rotated, post some pressed/un-pressed screenshots. I've attached the panorama files that you use to change positions, etc. in the .zip. These are from the cab attached, so should be pretty close to fitting correctly.

Would you mind taking your screenshots and adding them to a .zip and attaching it here? I think the forums are re-sizing the pics and they are not the the same sizes (252x420 and 265x442). It'd be easier with just 2 800x480 pictures to make sure it is aligned just right. Thanks

Here's another to try. If it's off, just post the program tab screens pressed and unpressed as before in a .zip.

Sorry, I forgot to change the y-position in the .lua file...so it was still the old value. Please try the attached if you'd like. I think it should be right. The cab only contains the updated manila lua files, so it will keep your current background. The zip contains the 3 files needed for the mod (image manila files not included) so that you have them.

Sry no - this one go up...
The pressed images r right, the unpressed images must move up.
If I understand ur tutorial right I must edit the 5c9aa261_manila (panoramaBkg (unpressed)) 4 vertical movement?
panoramaBkg PosY=72
panoramaBkg2 PosY=77 is this right or must this the same value?
But u have me @ last post change the 3941bc49_manila...
I´m confused
I look @ ur 3 3941bc49_manila.lua with my editor and see u have edit
PanoWidth = Panosize * 3 - 1
to
PanoWidth = Panosize * 3 - 5
what did this value edit?

It is probably easier for you to make the final adjustments and get it aligned correctly. I'll try to explain how to change the position as best as I can.
5c9aa261_manila is the mode9 file that contains the references to the panorama script and background files use. "panoramaBkg" is the un-pressed image. The PosY value controls the y-axis of the panoramic images. Decreasing the value moves it down, while increasing moves it up.
"panoramaBkg2" is the pressed image. The PosY value works the same as "panoramaBkg" to move the image, but they do not line up if the same numbers are used because of other PosY values above the panoramaBkg2 PosY value (at least that's what I think). You can move either "panoramaBkg" or "panoramaBkg2" to get them to line up correctly. If pressed image does not seem to fill the screen (ie there is a blank spot at the top), adjust "panoramaBkg" so that it appropriately (ie move it up). The same goes for the pressed image if it appears off.
3941bc49_manila is the panoramic script. 3941bc49_manila.lua is the decompiled script that you can edit with a text editor. The code below contains the information for portrait or landscape modes. If you are only going to use portrait mode, you can delete the entire text shown below to make it simpler.
Code:
if _application.Orientation == ScreenOrientation_Portrait then
Panosize = 696
panoramaBkg2.Position.y = 80
else
Panosize = 376
panoramaBkg2.Position.y = 82
end
If you would like to use landscape, you will need to adjust the line "panoramaBkg2.Position.y = 82" to get the pressed image lined up with the un-pressed image. Also, if you make a PosY change to "panoramaBkg2" in the mode9 file (5c9aa261_manila), you will need to input the same value in the "panoramaBkg2.Position.y = 80" line. The panosize is the size of the 512x512 picture you use to create panoramic image. It is 696 for portrait (800 - 52 - 52 = 696). The taskbars are each 52 pixels and your wvga screen is 800 pixels. For landscape, it reduces to 376 (480 - 52 - 52 = 376).
The code below just controls the size and x-position of the 6 images used for the panoramic images (3 for pressed, 3 for un-pressed). You do not need to change anything.
Code:
panoramaBkg.Position.y = Panosize
BackGround1.Size.width = Panosize
BackGround2.Size.width = Panosize
BackGround2.Position.x = Panosize
BackGround3.Size.width = Panosize
BackGround3.Position.x = Panosize * 2
BackGround4.Size.width = Panosize
BackGround5.Size.width = Panosize
BackGround5.Position.x = Panosize
BackGround6.Size.width = Panosize
BackGround6.Position.x = Panosize * 2
BackGround1.Size.height = Panosize
BackGround2.Size.height = Panosize
BackGround3.Size.height = Panosize
BackGround4.Size.height = Panosize
BackGround5.Size.height = Panosize
BackGround6.Size.height = Panosize
The code below controls the width of the panoramic image (so that it adjusts to the number of tabs you have present).
Code:
T = screenWidth - sliderWidth
PanoWidth = Panosize * 3 - 5
panoramaBkg2.Opacity.value = 100
panoramaBkg.Position.x = math.floor((selector.Position.x - correction) * (- (PanoWidth - screenWidth) / T))
panoramaBkg2.Position.x = math.floor((selector.Position.x - correction) * (- (PanoWidth - screenWidth) / T))
The "PanoWidth = Panosize * 3 - 5" line controls how far the image stretches to the right. This should just be 3 * the panoramic size used (696 pixels for portrait). However, it does not always display as the numbers should. If you see any black space on the far right edge of your panoramic image (on last tf3d tab), you can move the image to the right by making the "PanoWidth" value smaller (by subtracting 5 in this case). If it looks like your panoramic image is getting cut off on the last tf3d tab, you just need to make the "PanoWidth" value larger.
Those are the main portions of the script and mode9 file. The only things needed to adjust PosY are below "panoramaBkg" or "panoramaBkg2". If you change "panoramaBkg2", make sure to change the corresponding value in 3941bc49_manila.lua. To change X position, just adjust the "PanoWidth" line in 3941bc49_manila.lua.
After you've edited 3941bc49_manila.lua, use m9editor to compile and import the actual manila script (3941bc49_manila). Then just copy to your device and test the new values.

Background4AllTabs, Photoshop & Pixelcounting

hi,
i wanted to create my own background-theme, and this thread was very helpful:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=3062019&postcount=54
(you need the Background4AllTabs "5c9aa261_manila" & "4a087e41_manila" from NisseDILLIGAF)
the problem was, i had a circle in the picture, and every time it was stretched or squashed, wrong aspect ratio, not fitting well. so i did a little research myself - pixelcounting fun.
conclusion:
1. crop your original-pic (maybe 800x480) to 700x480 (the real background size, 50 px from the top and 50 px from bottom)
2. create an new empty 512x512 file
3. resize your 700x480-pic to 512x460, squash squash squash (!)
4. paste it in the empty 512x512 on the left side(!) leaving an empty unused bar of 52px on the right side
5. do all steps from the link above to convert it for manila
nothing stretched or squashed anymore. full circles.
FINAL note:
this method works only for NisseDILLIGAF's *5c9aa261_manila* that came from the diamond. it works, but it also has the blackhole problem.
bbonzz's method (look below) works for http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=3068310&postcount=60 (blackhole solution).
both have no problems with nocurtains-mod. baah, too much confusion about the manila files...
Actually the background is 480x636 (image 1), because of the top curtain hole in background4alltabs.
So, to keep the aspect ratio, what you have to do is more simple:
1) cut you 480x800 (image 2) to 480x636 (image 3) keeping 52 px from bottom (bottom bar) and 112 from top (top bar+top curtain)
2) stretch to 460x512 (image 4)
3) add a 52px transparent (or whatever: black, white... It will be invisible anyway) canvas to the right (image 5)
voilà, you have a pic for Manila Editor, and once installed on Blackstone, Manila will resize it back to the original 480x636, without distortion and without shifting a single pixel. You can verify this by using the original 480x800 as background for the home tab (image 1): switching tabs, you'll notice the image is still the same: no movements, no distortions.
do you guys have a problem with a black hole at the top of the background in sound settings on the settings tab ?
check this!
hi bbonzz,
i tried your version and it does not match. check the attachment.
manila stretched the logo and it ended up as an egg.
the best way is to compare the original (800x480) as homescreen-background against the manila version background in the other tabs. that was the game i was playing. after several try&errors i found it. the mapping-coordinates for the manila-background in my tf3d background4alltabs is 700x480. 50px less reserved for the top-taskbar and 50px less reserved for the softbutton-bar at the bottom.
manila stretches the left space of the 512x512 texture (512x460) to 700x480 perfectly and the aspect ratio of the original is back.
by the way, the black hole is still a problem, but doesn't bother me.
maybe it depends on which 5b9aa261 are you using: on my HD (with the "corrected and not the original 5b9aa261), using the same try&error way, i have the perfect fit with the 480x636 thing, as you see in the screenshot. Later i'll try with your attachment
ok, i forgot to mention that "nocurtains" is installed on my hd. maybe thats the reason why you got 636 px instead of 700 px.

Hi sir AlecDelorean and other member can you make me a 4a087e41_manila with my attach file, thanks advanced...
please test this
hi p_elmenzo,
do yo have the 2 files from background4alltabs already installed?
if yes, here you go. don't forget to backup you original manila files.
don't blame me if something goes wrong
and please compare your original pic as background for the homescreen against the new background in the other tabs. if anything moves, or looking stretched, send me a screenshot.
4a087e41_manila
Thank you very much AlecDelorean...
Grazie Mille AlecDelorean...
4a087e41_manila
Hi, again AlecDelorean i have a small problem when i change my tab the background image has change maybe the pixel of the image.
i know, its a problem of the image-compression/conversion in manila-editor. when i have time, i add a little grain in photoshop to trick the compression-algorithm.
4a087e41_manila
Ok Thanks a lot...
here you go again
ok, did some tests. i don't know much about the converting process of the manila editor, but it seems it reduces a lot of bandwidth of the colorspace combined with very rude compression. so by example - gradients loose a lot of quality, instead of other more colorful pictures where the difference of every neighbor pixel is higher. maybe its the 3d-texture method htc is using, they try to save as much memory as they can. an interesting thing to notice (compare your screenshots with the original pic), there is an converting-process included in tf3d by itself, but only for the homescreen, when you choose an own picture for the homescreen background - tf3d crops it, adds grain and compression.
enable your background of the homescreen back to standard, because the manila-background is the background4alltabs now and you can't see the difference anymore if you switch from homescreen-tab to the others.
4a087e41_manila
Hi, AlecDelorean do you have the original file of 4a087e41_manila and 5c9aa261_manila? thanks a lot.
haha
tired of messing around with the backgrounds?
you need only one. 4a087e41_manila is a new image file for background4alltabs, 5c9aa261_manila is a script that was changed.
Hey AlecDelorean, can you do this for me as well.. Thanks!
I have just one question...
HOW do i get rid of the black curtain on top of the screen??
please please please say me how!!!
In nearest future we wont use this method. A real background for all pages done.

hey ArchonX,
this is the version of NoCurtains that is working for me:

Background for all tabs guide

Took me a bit of searching to find all this info but the fixes for the stripes and the aspect ratio are all on here already... Just thought I'd put what I learned all in 1 place, as it seems to work for me
Got this info from Snootch's post here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=3038572&postcount=50
The 4a087e41_manila file by NisseDILLIGAF: http://ycyvpg.bay.livefilestore.com/...anila?download
The resizing instructions written by Bbonzz http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=3110028&postcount=2
And the fixed 5c9aa261_manila file found here from 6Fg8 http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=3068310&postcount=60
You need:
- Manila editor v0.2: http://forum.xda-developers.com/atta...7&d=1219251626
- Manila file by NisseDILLIGAF: http://ycyvpg.bay.livefilestore.com/...anila?download
- First two lines of Hex code by NisseDILLIGAF: http://ycyvpg.bay.livefilestore.com/...20HEX?download
- A 480x800 background pic
- A Hex editor program such as XVI32: http://www.chmaas.handshake.de/delph...vi32/xvi32.htm
- Photo editing software such as Photoshop
- The fixed 5c9aa261_manila from the bottom of this post
- Total Commander or Resco installed on your phone (Total Commander: http://www.ghisler.com/)
Take original 480x800 image
Cut 112 pixels from top bar, and 52 pixels from bottom (480x636)
Stretch image to 460x512
Add extra 52 blank pixels to right of image to make image 512x512
Save as .png
Open 4a087e41_manila in manila editor
Replace image with 512x512 .png you just made
Close editor
Open 2 instances of XVI32 side by side
In the first open 4a087e41_manila file, in the second open First 2 lines of hex code file
Copy details from First 2 lines of hex code to 4a087e41_manila, then save 4a087e41_manila
Pick up your phone and go to Start>Settings>Today and click the "items" tab at the bottom. Uncheck Touchflo3D and click "ok"
Send 4a087e41_manila and fixed 5c9aa261_manila files to Touch HD
Use Total Commander to copy files from My Documents to /Windows folder
Restart your phone
Go back to Start>Settings>Today and click the "items" tab at the bottom. Check Touchflo3D and click "ok"
The nocurtains.cab and transparantslider.cab both work for me too except on the tabs I have a black curtain behind the top writing (see 2nd screenshot).
Again I'd like to say thanks to all the people that cracked these manila files and fiddled with image dimensions to get the aspect ratio right. I have absolutely no knowledge of Hex editing or what a manila file even is so I rely on you guys!
hi, from where did you get the color icons bar on top of screen? I installed also color icons but these are looking much better!
thanks

They are indeed TSowen's, but from his latest 4 series (4.1.6?). The battery looked terrible though so that's Darklord69's fixed v2 bat icon on mine.

Each place in program's tab can have 96*96 Icon instead of windows normal icons (32*32). these icons extension are qtc and can be located inside windows directory by serching *.qtc files
Here is my favourite set of icon, including nearly 10,000 HQ icons
Code:

http://rapidshare.com/files/214962577/10000.HighDefinition.PNG.Icon.Pack.part2.rar

After finding your favourite icon now it must be converted to qtc, I do recommend CFC - THE Manila/TF3D Image Editor
From Tools menu choose Import from PNGs, press Yes and browse location of icon,
it will automatically converted to qtc format, once it's done it is better to change the name to MPI_*.qtc (instead of * put any name which you like)
Now with total commander or Resco explorer copy above file to windows directory.
With any Reg editor program go to following address:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE]\Software\HTC\Manila\ProgramLauncher
You will see numbers from 0 till 23 (24 place for icons start from left top till right bottom) choose the one you want to change it.
Put new path for the icon in IconPath like:
\windows\MPI_Programs.qtc
it's done now restart your manila and enjoy your new icon
2. Windows Mobile 6.5
If you are using WM 6.5 you can change program's icon directly from windows registry which will effect appearance of icon every where including Manila.
First of all you need to find high quality icon you can also use bluemetalaxe's thread it is full of beautiful icons and if you couldn't find what you are looking then make a request over there.
Now with Reg editor program go to following address:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE]\Security\Shell\StartInfo\Start
you will see reg keys similar to shortcut's name in windows start menu
choose the one you want to change
inside the key modify or create String Value (Name = Icon) with value of icon's path
for example:
now do soft reset
enjoy new icon
I used normal .ico file for changing the icon in manilla program launcher.

I need some help..
i search some square icon (in .ico format) to use in the program tab of the manilla. like the one for iphone or the one from htc (but both are to small to the program tab, i think we need some 1208x128 icons, not 64x64)
thanks for the help!
Here are my choices. I decided to make the start menu show categories instead of apps so i have used a registry editor to link each icon to a sub folder in my windows/start folder.
I have also attached the icons which you copy to ppc windows folder and link to them in icon path field.

Thanks to new manila and master chef Dutty now we can enjoy high quality Icons in our blackstone.
based on Rhod\Topaz ROM By pressing windows start button manila's programs tab is showing off, each place in program's tab can have 128*128 Icon instead of windows normal icons (32*32)
Dutty's ROM comes with set of icons located inside windows directory
using total commander you can find them (MPI_*.qtc)

Manila Start Screen Registry Editing
Hi, I wanted to change the icons in my htc diamond 2 (tmobile compact v) manila program start screen and also to have folders that contain other icons (like games or organiser for eg).
By accessing the following keys (0-23) in regedit you can change values such as name, link, icon and write protect.
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\HTC\Manila\ProgramLauncher\
I did try and add a 25th shortcut, it showed but did not work, will investigate that later.
Also I realised that you can use png's for icons in the manila menu, no need to convert to ico or qtc. (Need to find the optimum png dimensions yet).
I appreciate that some programs may exist to do this from a gui, but this a quick fix and all you need is a ppc registry editor.
MrKaon styler_RO.cab froze Diamond 2 Startup..!!
Hi,
I installed MrKaon styler_RO.cab on my Diamond 2 (TMobile MDA Compact V - UK) and it froze the startup sequence and the phone stuck at the windows mobile boot screen.
I had to do a hard reset to resolve action.
Perhaps it conflicts with TMobile skin files.
Beware anyway just in case peeps..
is for touch HD..
working perfect on Touch HD.

I followed these steps, but the resulting files did not have the .qtc extension. I renamed them like you instructed, adding the .qtc at the end. But when I changed the registry value to point to one of my newly created qtc files, the Icon in the manila programs tab was an empty white square (after restarting manila of course). Did I neglect something in the conversion process? (The png's I used were 96x96)
EDIT: Never mind, I figured out the problem. Apparently, 96x96 pngs are the wrong size. As soon as I scaled one up to 128x128, it worked just fine.

because of restriction of WM6.1 we will not be able to change program's icon to high quality one, but what we can do change their appearance in Manila

hello!
id like to put new program icones for my PhoenixEx 1.2 manila 2.5, can u send me cab please? if u have slidebar icones too...ill be happy
Thanks for that tricks.
It's quick and efficient on WM 6.5, using any registery editor.
Still, changing the icon from the "software built-in" one to an external PNG files slows down the display of 'programs' tab very much. With 27 apps on my screen, it takes about 5 secs to pop-up. (i use HTC sense)
PNG files specs : size 90x90, between 4 and 14 kb each, located in a folder at the root of the internal memory.
Would a soft reset fix the problem ?
EDIT : Soft rest doesn't fix the problem. Takes up to 10 secs to display page with 26 progs.
Does the problem comes form the icons location, of size in kb ?
Is there any way to change the default built-in icon of every software ?
Good night all

[HELP] Manila 2.1 file name to finish a theme

Hi, I'm looking for two days now ( XDA search, Wiki, Google, WM sites, HD sites ...) for the name of some manila graphic files, need them to polish my theme thanks for your help:
_ First the ones that do the background under icon preview when you press slider icons.
_ Second the ones that appear and disappear when you press a thumbnail picture on the people tab.
Thanks to all contributors evevrywhere on XDA.
PS: it's a manila 2.1 cfc compress from Chainfire
1) The icon preview background is "37172f76_manila" (manila path: "\windows\htc\assets\images\common\vga\black.qtc") - it's a small 2x2 pixel image thats stretched to fill the screen.
2) The selection blade has two parts: first "4e6195ba_manila" (\windows\htc\assets\images\people\vga\blade_body.qtc) - 4x128 stretched horisontaly.
Second: "5dfeddf7_manila" (\windows\htc\assets\images\people\vga\blade_endcap.qtc) -4x128 it's the small curve at the end.
Thanks a lot for the quick help, tonight will finish my theme and perhaps release it ( but i'm shy ...). Where do you find info about manila files, the wiki is imcomplete and like i've said upper i haven't find any web ressource to help me.
Really great forum.
You can use 6Fg8's m9editor to take a look into the mode9 files of manila.
The mode9 files describe how the page should look. E.g. to find the the needed qtc files for the people page I opened people.mode9 (6C422AB4_manila) in m9editor.
Co0kieMonster, can you help me one more time, when i put my png into cfcgui the qtc transformation change some colors into artefact/glitches. I've tryed different dpi and also to compress it with manila editor 0.2 but same result. It never happens before for all my pngs, the same error appears with the two peoples blade files. I put in attachement the png before (the one i want to put) and the one saved from the qtc i obtain.
PS: i've tried to change headers in manila editor but no luck.
I seem to remember reading that the qtc format has problems like that sometimes, but I haven't done much with qtc files so I don't know how it can be fixed. Try asking in the cfcgui thread, someone there will probably know.

Changing AT&T background in TF3D

Is there any way to change the background in TF3D from AT&Ts logo to anything else? I can change the home page, and the lock screen without TF3D enabled, but as soon as I enable it again and go to any tab in TF3D the AT&T logo is there. What can I do about this, without changing ROMs?
Search for TF3D or manila 3D themes, download the one you like and install it on your T2

The following files in \Windows are the TF3D background images (Top/Buttom Portrait & Left/Right landscape).
Code:
29cff4fe_manila
058acf31_manila
77feee1d_manila
70083a29_manila
These are 3D Polygon Textures. You need a program such as CFC GUI to edit those images. Under the "TF3dv2" menu select "Create background". Choice either Portrait or Landscape WVGA from the drop down & click "Load". Choose the image you want (Must be a PNG, It helps to create the Image you want & crop it to the correct size ahead of time, WVGA Portrait = 480 Wide x 696 Tall in Pixels/Landscape = 804 Wide x 377 Tall). Uncheck the "CFC" Check Box & Click Save. It'll save the files in the folder you choose during the initial setup. It'll create 2 _manila files for each Portrait or Landscape. Copy these to your SD Card & then use Total Commander or Rosco Explorer to copy them into \Windows overwriting the originals. Restart TF3D to see the change.
EDIT: There's a scrollbar on the right side of the BG creation window. Use this to adjust brightness. You'll notice the images are a lot brighter then the BG's I made. I darkened it so the text would show better. In my first attempt, the BG was too bright & the white text became hard to read in certain places.
Search for HDWall, it works good and does what you want I think. I also had to run one of the Manila cabs (HQWallpaper patch or something) that was included in one of the folders with HDWall.
Thanks for all the ideas and suggestions.
