The phone will work, but 3G will NOT.
There's 7 different flavors of this thing. see link below and do your research.

Is it safe to use the Hard-SPL on here on the USA GSM Touch Diamond? I was wondering if there are any differences between these ones and the rest (since these ones have USA 3G capabilities)

It is fine. I am currently using the US version with Dutty's ROM. and Hard-SPL.
Sorry if this has been asked/answered already, I wasn't able to find if it had.
Is it possible to reflash a European TP2 with the TMO USA TP2 radio ROM to enable TMO USA 3G on the European version?
I had come across a chart about a week ago of hardware differences between all the different versions of the TP2 and it appears these both have the same radio, so im assuming it may just be software registers or something that enable/disable certain frequencies?

I am fairly sure you can't.

Frequency is a hardware thing, you cannot flash a different radio to change the frequency of the phone.
I really don't get it. Was wondering what rom goes with USA t-mo tp2? cdma or gsm ones.
I know that t-mo tp2 is gsm but I just dont want to brick my phone.
Going to use it in Europe. And what rom to use as well ?
Thank you

If you have the T-Mobile USA TP2 it's a GSM phone, and if you want to flash a custom rom it should be chosen from the GSM ones.
As for which ROM is best for use in Europe, it doesn't matter.
Edit: I assumed you're talking about an OS-ROM...but if you're talking about a radio-ROM then maybe some work better than others in different locations.
But, as far as I know, the TMo USA rom won't be able to access 3G signal in Europe because its radio hardware uses different frequency/bands for 3G than is used in Europe. It will work with regular GSM bands, though.

As i saw here, few people were using 3G in Europe (Turkey and Germany) without any problems.

A T-MoUSA-branded TP2 in Europe and using a 3G data connection? If that's true, I'd be glad. I'd like the option of high-speed data on my TMoUSA phone while over there...

I'm getting mine, from USA, in a few days and will keep you informed
It works on every network I tried so far.
I have already do some research and i have read many posts in the forum.
I want to know if there any method to solve the problem now?
I have a HTC diamond which is "rogers" brand.
I use it in Honk Kong, all the things work perfectly, but i can not get the 3G signal
In the forum, i have gotten some information,
Rogers is 850/1900 MHz
Asia(Hong Kong) is in 900/1800 MHz
Is there any program to solve my problem?
Or it is the hardware problem, no software can solve it
Thank you for your help
Yes, you are right. Rogers Diamond will not work in HK 3G. HTC seems to have different version of their phone for US and the rest of the world.
So, no need to buy HTC phone in Asia or other country. It will not work in N.A.
Only a few old model will work in HK 3G and NA 3G such as
HTC TytnII
HTC Curise

He is right....and actually so are you, it is a hardware dilemma. Eventually they will make all phones truly a world phone in all aspects. Not half, half....
I have got the US version but as we all know the software sucks and my device actually has an pixel error so I will need to send it back anyway (efox).
What if I request a CN replacement device? What are the differences? I read that you can only choose between english and chinese language but that wouldn't be a problem.
Would I be happy with the software too?
For one, the frequency bands are different. The US version was made to work with North American networks. So depending on where you live, the Chinese version might not work with your country's carriers.
I'm referring specifically to the 4G Lte bands. If you bought the Chinese version to use in North America, you'd likely only get 3G coverage. And with many carriers soon to be going exclusively 4G, your phone will soon be useless.

Thanks for your helpful reply but 4G only? Never heard of that. Sounds scary.
Does anyone actually try to put MM 16s to our US version? I know that LP cause hard brick but what will happen with official 16s rom?
Is there any differences with bootloader or something else on hardware bases?
I can't try this because my le one pro is my main phone.
