Missing email account - wifi and BT settings etc bug

I really need to understand if my trinity is bugged...
i tried many of the last cooked WM6.1 ITA ROM and every time is the same thing...i create an email account...insert Wifi Password...also pair my BT headphones...
...one stylus reset and every kind of this configuration disappear !
Also i noted a memory leek bug...memory decrease continusly...
recently tried:
ervius WM6.1 ITA 3.05 Flashed with OLIPro 1.30 from XP (still in test...only with memory leek for now)
ervius WM6.1 ITA 3.04v2 Flashed with OLIPro 1.30 from XP and MiniSD and Flashed also with DES from XP (memory leek and settings bug)
ervius WM6.1 ITA 3.04 Vanilla Flashed with DES from XP (memory leek and settings bug)
in all Ervius's Rom i found a new bug (for my trinity) correlating to the first two...every time that i make a stylus reset i understand immediately if the settings and email account were lost...because of the change of the activation number...on a correct reboot i recieve a complete number for example "37245" on a faulted reboot i recieve the only first 2 number "37" and the registration page is there also if i maked the registration !
i tried also:
Elias WM6.1 Elegance Edition 2.1ue Flashed with OliPro 1.30 from XP and from MiniSD and also with DES from XP (memory leek and settings bug)

i'm sure of the malfunction only with this ROMS because i've tested many times...but without testing i can remember of this bug in other ROM that i've tried.
i remember only one ROM that i used for many times and not affected (for my trinity) of this bug...is the elias elegance 1.5b

Please let me know your experiences...so we can help eachother to find a solution to this big big problem !

hi, i have exactly the same problem with ervius WM6.1 ITA 3.05 and ervius WM6.1 ITA 3.04v2, and elegance 2.1 rom.
on a faulted reboot i recieve a 37 too.
the same problem also with security pin, and that is really bad because when it miss the pin all you can do is a hard reset.
Anyway roms are really fantastics, and cookers are great.

Thanks cygnuz because you give me a new info...i used only 1 time the security pin...and need to hardreset my trinity...but i said "what a stupid idiot...i forgot the code just inserted"...
So anyway sure that the ROM are wonderful and fantastic...it's for this thing that i want to resolve any issue...for using its !!
Because with this issues for me are unusable !!

so you confirm that kind of issue is coming from the ROM and not from the HARDWARE !
ok but somebody discover why we can find this kind of issue in only some version of our trinitys ?
and what about the memory leek ?...somebody speak about an intensive use of the caching system...somebody speak about a bug ! Somebody like ervius and elias told me that their trinitys was not affected from thisk kind of issue ! wich is the correct answare to this question ?

hi, if you google a little it seems it could be a wm6 problem not only related to trinity.
Anyway i can not find a way to replicate the problem, it happen randomly.

my rom works, I have 2 mail accounts and work...
I cannot solve problems that I haven't.... I cheched also, softeressed and all works....

Hello Ervius, try soft reset if the communication manager is and remains open on the context...

i hope you can answer a question: you know how the serial code is generated, can you think a way we can have a code 37 at startup?

dopod xip??? I don't know, I use genuine bepe's xip, if there are differents for trinity 6.1 roms, I prefer the bepe's one, I'm shure it is genuine. not "fixed"!

what kind of build is???
coredll.dll is different from 19199 and 19202 builds...
and also nk.exe (that maybe must be thae same, is from oemxipkernel and we maybe cannot replace it becouse is from device's xip part.)

M700 got different buttons alocation. No GPS.

I'm using Dopod M700 too.
You can use Black & Blue 4.3 or 5.0 (but 4.3 is better) or the best one is Artemis Touch 4.01 (or maybe 4.02 better, I'm testing 4.02).
All of them work good with GPS
Those ROM is for Artemis & Dopod M700 is Love, so you have to change the button setting, it is so easy.

Ok, I found the Dopod P800W CHT Rom from somewhere and flashed my Dopod M700 by editing the hex file to match the Model ID. However, after flashing the Dopod P800W CHT Rom, my Dopod doesn't show EDGE connection but just GPRS. I'm sure that it was EDGE connection with my previous ROM. Anyone know how to get back to EDGE connection? My previous ROM and current ROM are:

You need to update the SPL to 1.11.0000 in order to flash/update your Dopod M700. you need to go to service mode and using usb cable to update it.

Hi ... Did u fix your m700 ... i have flash this rom and right now i encounter the same issue here..
I try to copy the rom in the micro sd and try to boot up " press " recorder and reset " from SD to write back the rom ... but still not work.... hang in another screen have red,green and blue color ...help help..

if you brick your device you have to copy the original ROM into your SD.. and format your SD with FAT system file.. and then if you press the record botton and the reset and don't work.. try to press the record and the power while your mobile is off.

Thanks for your information... I have work on this machine over 10 hrs to search over the forum here.... at last i can flash it when i press record and reset button and at the same time connect with usb cable ...... after that i can flash it thru PC ...........

[SOLVED] Touch Diamond Help - No Network after hard reset

Hi all,
I have been using this phone for a while now. Its been working very well till today. Today I tried to install some themes and they ended up occupying my full phone memory. So I did some googling and decided to do a hart reset as I didnt have any valuable software installed.
I went ahead with the Hard reset by clicking 'clear storage' and typing 1234
The phone rebooted and got my memory back and everything except that it not connecting to a network. any network.
I use the 2G version of Touch Diamond in India (GSM). It keeps saying cannot register to network. I've tried different networks with SIM cards which are working well with other mobiles and both manual and automatic network selections.
I have done SIM unlocking done in the street as soon as I got the phone, as this came packaged with Airtel. But now the phone is not registering with any network, including airtel.
My stats are
ROM : 1.93.720.2 WWE
Radio : 1.20.OliNex.
SPL 1.23-Hard
Q1 : Does that mean I have HardSPL already?
Q2 : Would re-installing my Radio solve the present problem.?
What should I be doing.

Have you gone to start/ settings / connections "connection setup"?

Just tried doing it. I detected the settings for Vodafone which is my current network, restarted ,but it failed to register again.
The exact message was :
Network error :
Cannot register on selected network. Chose another network or disconnect data connection and try again.
I am pretty sure I have no data connection active

Never heard of a DIAMOND 2g ? but if its an CDMA the following wouldnt apply !!!
What radio version do you have ?? 1.20 is you SPL ....
go bootloader mode (soft reset + vol down + powerbutton) and write down everything you see there ....
NOT FOR CDMA User!!!

hmmm .. i would think its still any type of Sim lock in it, so i would try to contect cmonex / Olipro for a solution ! i think if you donate a bit they can help you with code unlocking.
Did u also Flashed another HardSPL ?
what does tri color bootloader promt out ?

I would try and Flash a new HardSPL Olipro's 1.40 is a good start rather than Jocky's 1.23 (shipped)
Then a ROM that includes a radio - perhaps DuttyThroys
Let us know how you get on...
Before you go to the shop - on the way you can always slap the man in the street that is using pirate unlocking software too - I hope you did not pay him.

Mate, I was about to ask the same question..?
Since my Diamond is an India specific one (ie NO 3G, Only GSM, GPRS and EDGE), I thought of flashing the India specific ROM presently available on HTC's website which also includes radio 1.00.25.07.
so arise Q : Should I upgrade the HardSPL or shall I Flash the new ROM as it is with my 1.23 Hard..?

As its unlocked by code i would recommend you to flash a shipped rom !

Hard SPL 1.23 or 1.40..? Signed or unsigned if I am flashing the shipped ROM..?

if you flash your shipped rom it will be signed so no need to upgrade your spl.. dont know which u flash so i would say SPL also will be updated and you need to hardSPL after that... just give it a try ...

I can see that by looking at the Radio version you had posted previously - I think this is the one which was part of a package leaked on the internet to unlock the Diamond.

My phone is T-mobile dash (China).
Before upgrading my rom speeds up in the chip 264, in the process of upgrading rom (version v1.7 rose) and then failed to appear as follows:
- Upgrade process is running, the sudden end, and then restart when the logo appears only HTC and always turn off the source.
- I manually reset (hold 2 keys) appears reset the notification requirements click Send, I have made but only HTC logo appears as before.
- I use the USB key and keep the color photographic images appear 3 scratch and color parameters as follows:
+ Excalibur ONBL 1.33.0000
+ Excalibur SPL 1.33.0000
+ Excalibur IU
and a small scratch with white text below the USB screen
I was trying to find the original ROM of your device without.
Who can help me how do solve this problem is not?

Upgrading O2 XDA Ignito

I would like to thank every one in this forum for all the great help & support.
I have learned a lot from here on how to tweak my 1st windows mobile
My HTC is O2-UK branded :

ROM version: 2.10.206.1 WWE
ROM date: 24/06/2009
Radio: 1.13.25.24
Protocol version: 52.62.25.34H_1.13.25.24
Using O2 official ROM upgrade
[Xda Ignit2_UK_2.10.206.1_Radio_Signed_Diamond_52.62.25.34_1.13.25.24_Ship.exe]
What I want to do is just put a clean ROM (may be HTC original) without all the additional software that comes with the branded ROM
The reason for this is my windows folder is filled with unnecessary stuff that I can’t delete (like opera9 & some ringtones) which is taking some precious space (file properties show it's ROM files).
My question is:
1- Which HardSPL should I use?
I’ve read this great tutorial & I’ve gathered that I need Unsigned-Hard-SPL-Diamond-OliNex & this (correct me if I am wrong)
Thanks to cozzykim for his MiniTUT but does it matter if I have SPL 2.07 & install an older version (like Unsigned-Hard-SPL-Diamond-OliNex 1.40 or 1.93) or should I wait for an upload of SPL 2.07 ??
2- Does it matter if the SPL I install is signed or not when it comes to installing cooked ROMs in this forum vs official HTC ROMs ?
3- If I want to revert back to the stock ROM for warranty reasons, can I still do that? & how ? (revert back to same SPL & ROM) ?
I've got the extracted files from the official rom which include [01_SPL.nb] which is SPL-2.07.0000, (if anyone is interested I can upload it).
So can I reinstall this in future? or just run the full official ROM.exe installer to put everything back as it was (including original SPL)?
Before any one starts flaming about searching before opening a new thread, I did search (spent two weeks reading through different posts) & I did not find any mention (or upload) of Hard SPL 2.07 (only found 1.93).
I found previous threads with similar questions not answered so thought may be it's better to open a new thread than digging & bringing up a one year old thread.
Pardon me for my noobish questions but this is my 1st flash & I am sure it will be easier afterwards but I hope answering these questions will make it easier for noobs like me & to those with XDA ignito.
Any help is appreciated & if any moderator thinks this is a repeat post & should be closed then feel free to do so.

1. Hard SPL - I'm using OliNex 1.40
2. Reset to bootloader to check Hard SPL .
3. Copy GSM rom to Internal Storage ( file name DIAMIMG.nbh )
4. Flash Rom ( put reset button - keep holding volume down button and back button - then release reset button ).
5. Wait until it's finish then reset.
6. Done
My fone doesn't have warranty so I don't care to roll-back to stock rom . I can't help you but I think someone can.

One question though, does it matter if you have a newer SPL than 1.40?
I mean did you have the same SPL (1.40) before installing OliNex 1.40 or it doesn't really matter what version is in your phone?
(mine is 2.07 & I am not sure if it's ok to install an older version like 1.40 or 1.93)

Same steps as thangkls
1. Hard SPL - used OliNex 1.40 [Unsigned-Hard-SPL-Diamond-OliNex].
2. Reset to bootloader to check Hard SPL .
3. Flashed with A.Z.T.O.R. Re-Evolution
& I must say, it looks great so far (especially the landscape feature).
I'll worry about the warranty later (though I think restoring a newer SPL 2.07 should work the same way, as explained here)

Actually this was the 2nd ROM on my list to test.
I liked A.Z.T.O.R. Re-Evolution but had to abandon due to a keyboard bug.
Gen.Y D2 R5.3 looks great with 15MB more storage space & same memory use.
No bugs so far.

but how
i have gone back to spl 1.93 but not beyond that
