[WM6 DOWNLOAD] REPACKAGED DOPOD WM6 3.54.707.3 Official. Works on ALL Hermes Devices

Since all you users seem to be posting useless topics about an RUU which wont work on the majority of Devices, heres one that DOES.
So you guys know this is the DOPOD release so it is taylored for a dopod 838 pro....your network settings will need to be added manually.
The standard RUU from dopod will not work if you have updated to HardSPL since it does not detect the SPL version as valid.
Please first Update to HardSPL (SPL 2.10.olipro) first as your device is at risk of bricking.
See how to do this update here.........then proceed to download and flash the WM6 ROM.

This will flash to ANY Hermes device, select 'Autodetect' and off you go

Use whichever radio ROM you wish. The most current two radio versions released are 1.46.00.11 and 1.47.00.10.
NOTE: DO NOT flash without safeguarding against a brick with HardSPL.

WHat will have i to do when Dangaard will release the italian version of WM6?
Actually i flashed in my HErmes the Shnap's 3.30c pro WWE rom, and to do it i followed the Mrvanx guide to upgrade to HArdsppl 7 (olipro 2.10).
Have i to downgrade it or what?

im trying to manually enter into bootloader mode but its not working,,, im holding down the ok button and the power button as instructed and then i reset with stylus but screen doesnt come up.

What OK button are you holding down ?
You need to hold down the OK button on the left side of your device. (The one next to the memo/Notes button)
(It took me a while to figure this out myself )

Did not work with BB connecct (using version 4) on Fido in Canada (i.e BIS)
- PIN OK, No connection
- No service list

Does B&B4.3 for artemis / P800 ? the buttons are different..
M700 got different buttons alocation. No GPS.

I'm using Dopod M700 too.
You can use Black & Blue 4.3 or 5.0 (but 4.3 is better) or the best one is Artemis Touch 4.01 (or maybe 4.02 better, I'm testing 4.02).
All of them work good with GPS
Those ROM is for Artemis & Dopod M700 is Love, so you have to change the button setting, it is so easy.

Ok, I found the Dopod P800W CHT Rom from somewhere and flashed my Dopod M700 by editing the hex file to match the Model ID. However, after flashing the Dopod P800W CHT Rom, my Dopod doesn't show EDGE connection but just GPRS. I'm sure that it was EDGE connection with my previous ROM. Anyone know how to get back to EDGE connection? My previous ROM and current ROM are:

Even I flashed the radio Rom to 03.07.90 or 03.12.90, the connection still at GPRS status. Even the Model of P800W and M700 are EDGE unabled in Taiwan. Therefore, I don't know why the EDGE doesn't appear on my connection.

You need to update the SPL to 1.11.0000 in order to flash/update your Dopod M700. you need to go to service mode and using usb cable to update it.

Hi ... Did u fix your m700 ... i have flash this rom and right now i encounter the same issue here..
I try to copy the rom in the micro sd and try to boot up " press " recorder and reset " from SD to write back the rom ... but still not work.... hang in another screen have red,green and blue color ...help help..

if you brick your device you have to copy the original ROM into your SD.. and format your SD with FAT system file.. and then if you press the record botton and the reset and don't work.. try to press the record and the power while your mobile is off.

i have already update the spl to 1.11... btw, can u let me know how to go to serivce mode ..... coz right now i try to use usb cable to connect the pc... no response.... help help

Thanks for your information... I have work on this machine over 10 hrs to search over the forum here.... at last i can flash it when i press record and reset button and at the same time connect with usb cable ...... after that i can flash it thru PC ...........

I up rom 6.5 for t-mobile dash.Unlock SDA is ok, and my phone restart is error. "starting ernergyROM" on the screen

Have you tried doing a hard reset? You may need to start over by flashing the original ROM from the bootloader screen and then Unlock SDA and flash the ROM of you choice. Do you notice the number of people who view your post; see you need some help, but offer none?

Thank. I tried hard reset but the same error after restart. I don't know original ROM for my mobile because I downloaded all ROM in forum and tried but the same error.
My phone is:
EXCA 100
FCC ID:NM8EXCA
and in the bootload:
Excalibur
ONBL 1.22.0000
SPL 1.22.0000
Who can help me???

The one for T-Mobile Dash USA, WM6 help me. It was the ROM that was on my phone when I bought it off of Craigslist. Try to look-up screen shots of the different versions of WM standard 'till you find yours. But I'm saying all of this not knowing what country you arefrom. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=381726

I got the same problem but how can I get original ROM when I can not sys to my PC ??? Hard reset already but nothing happen except WM screen...

Hi
If you want help please give the information about your device details as HSpl which rom you are trying to flash. If you don't have HSPL installed then you won't be able to flash 6.5 rom.
therefore add more details from bootloader
Get bootloader is Vol Down + Stylus reset

I figured out my issue. I had to copy the .nbh to the \internal storage root directory and then do the image install right from the phone. The PC ROMUpdateUtility wouldn't work for me.

Yes, but make sure you have done a Hard or Soft SPL First! Otherwise risk bricking it..

I'd recommend the Hard SPL as it will be permanent, also
"G4 users must be very careful with the ROM they select. The ROM has to be "G4 Safe""
Make sure the ROM you have downloaded is "G4 Safe" otherwise again you risk bricking the device

when i run hard spl it opens i press check doc and it loads and then it says launching soft spl then a black command box opens then closes and nothing happens. and im installing "WM6.1 (Manilla UI) v1.3" when im in the utility and press update it says "update to" its just blank.

right, its finished; and loaded all the pocet pc files and its the same nothing changes :S.
