Hi ,
i had to reflash my device. it hanged and i had to reset the device. many time nothing comes up ! just the main image and nothing else ! kind of hanged i guess! did reset few times and then it just started to reflash the device again!
happened 10 times !!!!!! reflashed . reseted . hanged . reflashed!!!!!!!!!!
Any idea ???

This is something already mentioned in many threads & posts allover the forum. Youll need to:
a) flash an stock ROM (official) before reflashing the ROM you want
b) MTTY and then replash the ROM you want. See post http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=540290 for info about MTTY
2 options, you don't need to do both, just one or another

Thanks man . i'm trying the second options now but during the hardsepl device would be trun off automaticly but hardsepl installation page shows that it was installed successfully !! is there anything wrong or it should be like this ?

Hi! I have recently flashed my hp ipaq hx2410 to wm2005, the update process went fine but the device doesn't boot anymore. It shows the loading bar and it gets stuck when it fills up. I have tried hard reseting it but the problem persists. I can't flash it because active sync doesn't "see" it anymore... just a local area connection X - limited or no conectivity. What can I do ? Is there a way to boot the device in some sort of flash mode or something? Thank you very much
I had to do hard reset about 3 times when upgrading my hx2490B.

I have done a lot of hard resets but the device still gets stuck.
Another thing... I did not hard reset the device before de WM05 rom update. I thought it should do that by itself.
And second... If I get it to work I want to flash it to WM06. I have the rom but are there some special steps to be followed for this update ?
My pda still gets stuck in the bootloader and then the backlight turns off. Should I leave it that way untill the battery is completely flat ?
Some people say that removing the battery for 24 hours may help.
Try that.
When i flashed my 2490 i did format the device and than did the flash.
But I don't think that matters cause the first time when i did flash i didn't format the drive and it was OK.

I'll remove the battery then and see tommorow. The main question is: is my device completely dead or is it "resurectable" ? I don't think that it need servicing .... but ... just asking
Thank you for the replies. If the batterry removal fix works I'll post here. In the meantime any other possible sollutions are welcome.

Just an idea (since I had to do this yesterday) maybe try formatting the device.
After flashing 4PDA ROM to my device it would get stack on the same screen as yours. After formatting it all went OK and I had WM6.
For my device I had to click calender + power + messaging + reset, release reset - release all.

i have " HP IPAQ hx2410 " with WM2003 CE 1.10.0 and i upgraded with this window 5.2 it upgraded successfully but i m stuck on the first loading screen. its stuck when loading complete i have tried every thing such as boot-loader thing and also cant downgrade it . . . so kindly plzzz any one tell me how can i go to my initial state on wm2003 ASAP.
WHAT IS P.S. Format ??? and how can i do that . . .

After i updated my universal, i pressed the buttons for hard reset and it is trying to start and gets stuk at logo screen where it displayes the radio version ext rom version etc..
i did this many times before and never got this problem...
i even tryed to do a new update using another rom, tomal v8.2, which worked for me before and got the same problem
what did i do wrong and what should i do to fix it??
please help me..

So people, hi....
I have some trouble to flashing this rom i sayed..
When i go to the 3 colours screen, appear (1.40Olinex)
I guess this is 1.93 or not??
Anyway, the athena rom flashing succesfull but when restart, the cellphone automatic, (after finish flashing program) .... Appear the first image, where loading that three letters ( RGB with a code) ...
So when appear this letters the phone shutdown, and start's again...
Somebody can help me to fix that?
I have try everything, and just keeping restart....

Did you try flashing any other ROM ?
yup i tryed... and happens the same error....
What i do??!?!
(For flashing new room i made this way: Make a soft reset (press reset button + vol down) to appear the 3 colors screen. So I turned on my DiamongUpdate, and confirm the first windows, make a update, so when I click on next button, appear the progress bar, 0% I wait like a 20 seconds, and the progress go fast to 100%, 0 to 100% in 1 sec. So after appears succesfully and finish the flashing, so my phone reset, I take off the usb cable and appear the first load image on my phone appear the tre letters ( R G B ) .. and make a reset again.! ...
How I can get out this problem!!!?!?! help people!!! help me!!

I just got the diamond , had it a year back

Started with the SPL
Downloaded it and i did read everything carefully
And its stuck at 0%
Why? , What shall i do?
Been like this for 5 minutes

Somehow active sync stopped
Just started it again and says the phone isnt synced and its still 0%
Shall i reconnect it or replug it?

Well everything went good but there is a problem
When i tried to flash the radio it always stuck at 0% but somehow it said on the phone that i was using the new radio that i flashed
When i try to flash the rom its the same problem , stuck at 0%
Why is that?
have you try to install another rom?
That happened to me when I tried it while in bootloader mode! I let the device to boot then started all over again while in winmo. It worked . Try it and see if it works!
EDIT: Do that while activesync is running, and the 'Allow USB connections' setting in acticesync is enabled!

Might be a problem with your radio. Can you provide more details about your unit, ie:
What version is your SPL/HardSPL?
What version is your radio?
What ROM are you using (OS, etc)?
Did you try to remove the battery for a lot of time?

I also had this problem, and i have two solutions, maybe can help you :
1. On your phone: simultaneously press the volume down and reset to get into boot mode.
Once you have managed this, follow the instructions on the screen of your computers with installation of rom.
2. Possibly you do not succeed the first step, obtain a version of HardSPL Diamond, .nbh or ROMUpdateUtility.exe, and running, with the phone connected to PC and in mod boot loader.
IMPORTANT I recommend :
" Try to get HardSPL-1.24 " , ( versions of HardSPL which are in atachament I have not ever installed on the my HTC Touch Diamond, because already have the HardSPL-1.24 on my phone )
Should work, good luck and more attention next time.
THX!! i reinstalled my hardspl to 1.30 and then i was able to reinstall my rom ^^ and it works

use MTTY then flash the Hard SPL 1.40 then flash the rom you want
Yep random soft/hard resetting is a sympton of MTTY necessity!
