I would like to know how do I change my windows 6.1 italian version to english. I have visited many websites but still can not find the answer or the way to do that, or i guess the website to find the 6.1 english version,,help!!!

I'm assuming PTB is an abbreviation for Brazilian Portuguese. As with Spanish and just about every other language, the only way to get WM6.1 localized is to get it from your cellular carrier or the phone's manufacturer.
I'd suggest talking with rickwyatt to see if Windows Mobile is as easy to localize as more enlightened operating systems.
For now there is just a "generic" HTC rom for PTB.

Yeah, as far as I know (from what I've searched and asked) that's the current status, and there's no wm 6.1 version, only wm 6.0.

A while ago, Ricky started a thread of how to cook your own ROM. I was trying to translate Ricky's ROM to spanish but I had no luck. It took several hard resets to finally give up. I think (and sure it's applicable to all languages) that the translation has to do something with .mui files and folders. I got them from some ROM in spanish but then I had no idea of how to put them all in an installable ROM and finally working. I think it would be a great idea if we all try to come with some tutorial of how to do this. Any ideas will be welcome.

I dont speak russian and i cant get the X51v ROM by Football&mun_rus rom because when i click on it sends me the russian forum, which request registration info. I don't want 6.1 because it can not support the software i want. I need the X51v ROM with windows mobile aku 3.5.2. Please, please help me. Send it to me or tell me how to get it, everywhere i find it is a dead end link or a link to the russian forum. thank very much ahead of time.

yep, of course you can install wm6.5. Look around in these forums, you might find a rom to do that. search under the name i900 wm6.5 as some of them refer it as the i900 instead of the omnia.
Worst case, you can always learn how to cook your own wm6.5 rom, its not so hard
