When I open Opera, I always get the notification "Do you want to go online?". If I don't have a connection open to the Internet, I can imagine the notification. But I don't want the notification if I'm already online.
Is there a way to set Opera that is does ask the question, when I don't have an Internet connection open and to skip this dialog box, when I do have an Internet connection open?
On my previous HTC (Diamond) I only got this dialog box when I wasn't connected.
Thanks in advance for your suggestions,
Rob.

Hi, is there a way to always allow Opera Mini to connect to the internet? every time i load a page it comes up with a message saying something like "do you want to allow Opera Mini to connect". I tried checking the settings for the app, and all you can select is never or allow once.
Cheers

Is there a way to eliminate the popup notifications:
"Found new net"
"Net is not available"
"cannot connect check definitions"
I have tried every thing by they keep coming again and again and disturbing me during phone calls etc'
Ok. Somewhere there is a small program that you can put in to your Windows/StartUp folder that will stop ALL wifi pop-up notifications. It stopped me from going crazy. It's called NoWiFiNotify, but I can't for the life of me find it on this forum.
Ok. Forget that. Found it.

Hi vikino
To answer your first question, I think it may be because you are using ActiveSnyc with Push Email enabled. If you go to Comm Manager, is the switch for "Microsoft Direct Push" on? If so, when you are on a GPRS connection and make a call your data connection will drop as only 3G or HSDPA can co-exist with an active call. Like the difference between old dial-up and modern broadband internet on your landline. If you're not using Direct Push I can't think what's causing it, but it maybe the HTC Push Internet. If it's the push email thing, you may want to consider switching off "Microsoft Direct Push" from Comm Manager and then going into ActiveSync and setting the sync schedule to "As Items Arrive" manually.
Can you please clarify your second question. It's not 100% clear what is not being displayed properly.

.....you know what? You're right, im using Push mail with my own mail server at home...and in the region i live in we dont have 3G it runs on Edge... Push internet i dont know where to set it up, i found it only in TF3D, but im not using it...If it is working w/o TF3D would be nice to know where to set it up...
The second thing is that on Xperia i had was nice small font in menu so in landscape fits all fields in without scrolling, on TP2 is much more bigger font and i have to scroll down for everything, programs and settings i found in top as icon...
Did a hard reset and going through the painful process of setting everything up. I did keep a .doc file with all my settings in it, and that has helped. One annoying problem though.
Opera is very strange. Mobile websites do not appear as they normally do. They come up very small, and I have to zoom and center them in to be able to read them. Anyone know a setting to ensure that Opera sees a mobile website as a mobile website?
Some are working fine. m.cnn.com is ok, others such as m.google.com show up incredibly small and do not fit the screen as they normall do.
Any suggestions? Thanks.
Settings>Display>Click "Mobile View"
You are a rock star. I could not figure that out at 1.00 am.
Thanks!

On a related note, I cant seem to figure out how to make links in emails open up in opera. I changed the registry setting, and the manilla settings, but links in emails still open in IE.
I think this question has been posted somewhere before but i really tried search, got no clue.
Sometimes touch pro2 automatically connects to the internet, you can see a pop-up window, saying that something like " cannot connect to...dialled...please check your connection.....dismiss".
This morning when I woke,I saw this window again, sorry I pushed dismiss button, the window's gone,so i cannot copy the exact content here.
I dont count, but i think all the roms I installed has this phenomenon. So I guess all of you saw this pop-up windows.
can someone point me to the right link that answered this issue?
thanks.
-auto weather update?
-Activesync trying to connect to your exchange server?
-Your other POP3/IMAP email accounts trying to poll the server?
-Microsoft MyPhone set to auto sync?
-Microsoft Live trying to poll the server?
-QuickGPS trying to auto update?
-anything else running in the background that uses the internet? (eg, Marketplace, IM apps, browser, etc)
if that window is popping up then you have the wrong data settings. find the correct data settings for your mobile operator/carrier and put them in your phone, or if you don't want to use any wireless data search for modaco no data on google and use that app to stop your device from attempting to connect.
Thanks a lot ! Was looking for that program....
Also you can use 1minute gprs disconnect, it´s a great tool
