Is there a way to eliminate the popup notifications:
"Found new net"
"Net is not available"
"cannot connect check definitions"
I have tried every thing by they keep coming again and again and disturbing me during phone calls etc'
Ok. Somewhere there is a small program that you can put in to your Windows/StartUp folder that will stop ALL wifi pop-up notifications. It stopped me from going crazy. It's called NoWiFiNotify, but I can't for the life of me find it on this forum.
Ok. Forget that. Found it.

Hi,
I downloaded the Black Rom with everything (black_big) and everything seem to work fine except for two things:
1) when I do active sync over gprs I keep getting an "out of memory" error from active sync. if I look at the memory during the sync, then it's nothing near being used (25mb left). To me this seems like an active sync error of some sort. it always happens at calendar item 100 (it starts processing there).
2) I have turned on direct push in the connection manager, but it does not seem like the button actually does anything. in WM5 the phone automatically connected to the internet (gprs) when I turned on the push. Now it simply changes color but nothing else happens. Even if I force the connection to be open, I still does not get any mails etc. through. I have to manually fetch the mails. Is there a setting I have missed somewhere?

Because it is already overflooded with useless posts and this one would just drown in that thread.

But this is wrong, if all of us do the same has you, imagine the millions of threads around the forum. And then the forum will be useless.
You should ask this to the guy who develop this or at least to the users of this ROM, IN THE ROM THREAD!!
agreed... post in the appropriate thread please
I don't know sometime 3g connection is trying to connect and pop up the window which told me that "cannot connect" . I dismiss it but it then appears again. How can i stop it it;s really annoying
Try using HDTweak. Use the option "Always on x Internet" and disable it. If that doesn't work just try disabling all updates on programs, ie don't let mail receive mail on a schedule nor let weather get updates.
Hope it helps mate
Good luck!
Regards
i couldn't find the option u told. But this problem just appeared when i use yota launcher and if i restart myphone it dissappear kkk but start yota again it will show off again ((
I think this question has been posted somewhere before but i really tried search, got no clue.
Sometimes touch pro2 automatically connects to the internet, you can see a pop-up window, saying that something like " cannot connect to...dialled...please check your connection.....dismiss".
This morning when I woke,I saw this window again, sorry I pushed dismiss button, the window's gone,so i cannot copy the exact content here.
I dont count, but i think all the roms I installed has this phenomenon. So I guess all of you saw this pop-up windows.
can someone point me to the right link that answered this issue?
thanks.
-auto weather update?
-Activesync trying to connect to your exchange server?
-Your other POP3/IMAP email accounts trying to poll the server?
-Microsoft MyPhone set to auto sync?
-Microsoft Live trying to poll the server?
-QuickGPS trying to auto update?
-anything else running in the background that uses the internet? (eg, Marketplace, IM apps, browser, etc)
if that window is popping up then you have the wrong data settings. find the correct data settings for your mobile operator/carrier and put them in your phone, or if you don't want to use any wireless data search for modaco no data on google and use that app to stop your device from attempting to connect.
Thanks a lot ! Was looking for that program....
Also you can use 1minute gprs disconnect, it´s a great tool
The other day I was stuck at the airport so I decided to thether my Tilt2 to my laptop. I did this all the time with my original Tilt, but my first time with the T2. Although I can connect the T2 to my laptop via AS (4.5, no partnership) this time the laptop saw the T2 as "new hardware" and since I don't have admin rights I could not "install." Since then whenever I connect my T2 to either my laptop or home PC (or any PC I assume) the device connects (you can hear the sound when you attach a USB device) but AS on the T2 never starts. I always forget something, but here goes:
Stock HTC/AT&T ROM
I have two partnerships, one with my work Exchange server and one with my home PC
The Exchange server partnership, via data connection, works just fine
I have tried unchecking the box under settings/connections/USB to PC/enable faster data connection
I reanabled "Ask me first about USB connection...."
I *can* connect as a "Disk Drive"
I can't just delete the USB partnership. I have to have that setup before my Exchange partnership as that enforces polices and I can't set up any new partnerships.
I probably could do a hard reset, but am hoping to avoid that
I've searched and searched, so I hope I didn't miss some easy key words.
Same stuff happening to me... What's weird is that the problem begun to show just like that, without installing any new apps or mods... Wonder why.
Unless it's a Rom related issue (running stock too atm) which I guess will be reported by other users as well..
Got it! I was trying to help somebody on another forum with a notifications problem which got me to thinking about the notifications queue. Sure enough, replog.exe was not in the queue. I ran (SK Tools) to recreate Active Sync notifications and I am back in business.

Great, will try that too then! Thanks for the info mate
Same problem
Hi ! I have the same problem as you did. Can you please give a more detailed explanation on how to recreate the ActiveSync notifications ?
Thanks a lot !
You need some way to view your queue, either SK Tools or MemMaid (www.dinarsoft.com) will work. If you use SK Tools (www.s-k-tools.com) you:
Select Notifications Queue
Tap Action (bottom left corner)
Tap Recreate ActiveSync
While in SK you might also select Mark Duplicates as dupes can cause issues as well, although more for reminders. When done you should see two repllog.exe notifications
Ok will try what you suggested. Thanks a lot ! Wish me luck !
Hello guys,
Not really related to the sg2 specifically but i think thats ok
I have annoying notification poping up all the time (little popup on the screen, not notifications like sms or others.)
It says "unable to connect server" (word by word like that) and pops up pretty much all the time.
Is there a way to determine which app is causing it ? My phone is brand new (I installed Calkuin's EL29) and i didnt install weird app or anything, just the usual.
THanks!
First time I've seen this, but a quick search on the 'net hints this may be an issue either with the Email config or Exchange (if you're using) settings.
Hope this helps!
thanks I have exchange setup for my work... I guess I have no choice to keep having those ****ing popups...grrrr
hopefully ICS release soon is going to fix it...
There is no way to disable all notifications for all apps ?
