Hey I am trying to figure out how to delete an email acc from tf3d but cant find it. I searched the forum but nothing there. I used to be able to do it simply in account management but the option for "delete account" has vanished.
Any help?
No one knows this????

Do you have an Outlook account and activeSync on your computer? Delete the Outlook account on your computer and the email account on THD will be deleted too.
I'm using a new Rhodium rom.
Go to Email Tab in TF3D > Menu > Accounts > Delete Account
If you can't delete it in TF3D then try directly in the messaging app. Then TF3D will see it is not longer there !

Well I am using the standard ROM the fone came with cos i have not had any probs with it. Anyway i do not have any option that says "delete account". It used to be there but has now vanished.
I have even looked in settings and there is nothing there!!!! Any other solutions??
I just received my shiny new Touch Pro2 and i probably won't have time to put a cooked ROM on it.
The one feature i cannot find in the stock Windows 6.5 ROM is "Message download limit" when creating an imap / pop3 mail account ?
On my old TyTN II (which is broken now) this was an option, even when using the Windows Mobile 6.5 ROM.
How to get this back? I really don't want to go bankrupt on the data connection charges when i go abroad tomorrow.
Thanks!!
Sorry for replying to my own topic but i found it.
It seems that HTC has "hidden" the Advanced menu when you create a new account. The setting is still there, it can be found :
Start -> Email (envelope icon) -> Menu -> Options
then you get old Win 6.1 style menu with all acounts
Click on the account and then advanced settings appears
Annoying.......

can you share to us the steps you made to make yahoo work on your htc desire? I'm a very frustrated user right now coz i have been reading a lot of suggestions but none of them worked for me. Btw i use the IMAP and not the POP
Hi,
When I turned on the phone for the first time and went through the setup process I just had to enter my Yahoo address and password and my mail was setup automatically.
Alternatively, you could try this:
1. go to your Yahoo mail inbox as usual on your pc.
2. click "Options" (top right hand corner) then "More Options from the drop down box.
3. Click "POP & Forwarding" on the new page
4. click "Setup or edit POP & Forwarding" on new page
5. click "View POP settings" on new page
6. your POP Access settings are displayed
Sorry but don't know about IMAP.
Hope this helps .....
Hi guys,
Just a question on my TP2, when I receive mail, I can open it, but I can only see the first few words. And there's a link to see the remaining part of the message, but when I click on it, it says that I will see this remaining part next time I connect to my mailbox.
Is there something I can do to have the whole mail downloaded directly ? so that I can read it and don't have that "next time you connect... bla bla bla".
Do you knwo what I mean ?
sorry for my bad english.
Thanks
OK, foundthe answer in another thread for that, sorry...
Thanks guys
go to the mail tap, then click on menu > accounts > menu > options > select the email account > download size configuration > select, all email.
Thank you pchava
Hello guys,
I have one problem with my Kaiser and although I've searched for a resolution I couldn't find something helpful. Maybe some of you know about this and give me some advice.
I installed different android releases on my Kaiser but after the system starts I just cannot see any contacts on the sim ( nor messages ). I must say that I made the installation having the sim card removed from phone. Why can't I "see" the contacts and messages on my sim? ( on other normal phones everthing is ok ).
Thanks a lot,
victor

You must transfer contacts from the SIM to the phone, then set up the GMail contacts sync. Go to Contacts, then press menu "Import/Export contacts", and import from SIM card. When done, set your phone to sync with GMail server and your contacts will be uploaded to your GMail account.
When you reinstall Android, all you need to do is sync with your GMail account and all your contacts reappear, like magic!...lol.
