Problem with the level of battery up - 8525, TyTN, MDA Vario II, JasJam ROM Development

Hi, sorry i have the problem with the item of battery up near the sound of call. I change the option in Advanced Config and i don't have the time but nothing..
and i have another problem with the sound, the my phone not ring.. only vibration
I tested this rom:
Build 21728 Lite V21 Tiger
21234/Build 21243 Lite V19 Secret
21232_Manila_V16_ITA
23009_ULite_V24_Update
kaiser_ita_shifu_04
kaiser_ita_shifu_04_light
21905_Lite_ITA
Not any ROM resolves the problem

Kaiser?
goto kaiser and ask again dude this is a hermes forum not kaiser... but the problem about the sound is xtrange... maybe your speaker is disconected by a drop... or you have some trash in the ext usb mini conector blow inside hard maybe it can helps... if not... you will have a hardware problem the batt icon can shows you time or battery some builds can shows only time some others just battery dont know why.

Thank you + Que PPC's, the my phone is spv m3100

the spv m3100 is the hermes but you said you've flashed a kaiser rom.

Do all WM6 ROM's drop available storage memory?

I'm asking because, I've used a couple and they all seem to drop after a while of use, requiring you to soft reset eventually. Didn't notice this problem in WM5. My wifes MDA has 25Megs of available program memory at any given moment, and she never resets her device or uses hybernate or clears cache mem unless I do it (and yes, she uses quite a few programs daily). My device starts out at 25Megs and then slowly drops down to about 20, then after a couple more days, down to about 17Megs (that's the lowest I've gotten before I reset). And when it drops this low, I use Clear Tem to clean the cache and other temp folders. And I use Hybernate and I still can't get the memory back up to 20Megs. So is this just WM6 or could it be the ROM I'm using?
I'm currently running Meschle's O2 Premium ROM (which is great BTW). This ROM is much better on memory than some previous ROMs I've used but it does drop down like I mentioned above. Didn't bother me until the other day when I was trying to get some pics of some friends for my picture caller ID. The camera would not open because memory was too low. I had to soft reset. It was quite embarrasing. May have just been a fluke but just wondering. Anyone else notice this?
BTW I do not have the TF Cube installed and only the default contacts manager.
Other programs installed besides what's in the O2 Premium ROM:
Opera Mobile
iSilo (document reader)
Oxford Spanish Dictionary
Conjegator prog
TomTom Nav 6
Used HTC Home page editor to change appearance and icons on home page but I removed the program after changes made
Hmm, haven't noticed this fenomenon.. gues i never had same rom for more that 3 days..

I'm thinking it has something to do with HTC Home. I know what you mean about being a ROM junkie. However, I'm trying to find one and perfect it. Currently, Meshle's ROM is the closest I've come.

I have faced this in most of the ROM's I have flashed...be it B&B or Meschle's or Fracoons or even NikMel's....
I think its something inherrent in WM6....I can say that as I used it in NikMel's and that does'nt have HTC Home and the same problem was there too...
It is typically this issue that makes be jump from one ROM to another - but they all end up the same - no matter how fast you make it by removing items or cleaning the ROM....guess you have to live with it...

OK. I know I'm not alone then.
Not, You aren't alone.
I have tried with all ROM posted here and have the same problem. I have made an own ROM based on original WWE and the same thing.
On WM5 this don't happens. It's not the HTC Home plugin, as my own rom is a clean ROM without anyting, and the memory goes down with the pass of the days. My friend with another Artemis P3300 have the same problems.
At the end, soft reset.

Same here!
A daily soft reset restores the initial amount of "program memory". I think it's a WM6 issue too (memory leak somewhere?).

On WM5 this did happen for some people (including me) and after months, this issue was finally solved.

I have just upgraded my ROM to WM6 vanilla 2 hours ago and I am a bit worry about this as I do not want to experience the issue in WM6 again. For now, it has not happened.
Is this thread related to this WM5 issue ?
If this is related, is this possible to have the WM5 fix ported to WM6 ?
Cheers

I have been using Meschle's Vanilla for last one week - no issues so far - even the leak is there but not that extensive...I start of with 26.75MB upon softreset and after d aday of using most of the apps incl. calls, tomtom, activesync - I have never really gone down below 20MB - but I do make it a point to use the Oxios closeApp and Hibernate as often as I can...
I reset once in maybe 3-4 days that too if I feel there is a drag...battery life is superb...no complaints whatsoever...
Have no reason to switch ROM's anymore untill I see something that really fancies me...or a RADIO/OS or build upgrade...

best rom today?

for hermes ^_^ ,
what is the best rom today? with touchflo...
K's Rom was suggested to me and the touchflo seems to work great. Just FYI u have to install it after u flash the rom.
There any bugs with ks? i use schaps 3.57 right now ... , just 25mb program ram :\ , is ks rom much better?
+what is radio rom? :\
I just switched from schaps to K's, and K's is much faster and more responsive for me.
My understanding of the radio is that it's the software or whatever that makes the actual cell phone part of your device works...it controls how good of a signal you get and how much of your battery it drains. I just upgraded mine to the newest version today...I havn't noticed any different, but then again I wouldn't have as it's only been 15 minutes. I think the radio is usually independant of the ROM you have, however some ROMs will come with a radio too (I think mostly the "official" release ROMS). I could be wrong on all of that, I really don't know much about this

Which ROM now? (was using schap's 4.01)

I've been offline for few months. I'm currently using Schap's 4.01 with AT&T. As somewhat of a geek, I'm bored and thought of upgrading the ROM again. What is considered stable with AT&T 3G?
Thanks,
Greg

yep... the question on all of our minds.. to be honest, this type of question has been asked (probably) thousands of times on this board. typicaly i jnust read the posts and the wiki, then i just start flashing...Ks seemed to be the fastest for me and the programs thqat i use. im tring out these vietnameese(hahaha i cant spell atm(at the moment not axx to mouth)) 6.1 roms. they are good, really good. the only problem is they speak and type vietnameese, and i dont so the support is limited. i really wish they at least typed english...jeezzz
anyway good luck with your search bro...
my only question is you seem to refer to your self as a geek...how is this? geeks traditionaly knida know how to look stuff up.
take care bro
I looked it up, but everyone has their own favorite. When you do a search, you get overwhelmed with responses on this topic. My hope was that there would be a few others that had upgraded from the Schap's 4.01 ROM that would know of specific issues.
I guess that's what happens when you go AWOL from the forum a few months.
Thanks for the response.
Agree with above that U need to decide (we can't do it for U). Here's the most recent thread (there are many many more) on the same question...check the posts out for ideas:

I have been using Schap's 4.31 WWE Lite for more than 2 months now. It is fast and stable. In fact it is so good that I won't upgrade unless there is a cooked WM 6.1 Lite version out with the same speed and stability.

What about the issues with bluetooth in those roms?
Every Schap rom since v4.0 has the same bluetooth issues, it's impossible to send or receive files by using bluetooth, ActiveSync and ICS are the only applicitations that will work with bluetooth aswell for bluetooth (A2DP) headsets.
Untill then I'll continue using the orginal T-Mobile rom.
(I wont get to hasty on flashing Wm6.1 on my mobile, because of all the issues with it, poor IE, bluetooth problems and even worse, programs that refuse to work.
Just my 2 cents.

i cant find it. do you have a link?
6.1 roms aren't ALL unstable... I've been using 19209.1.0.2 PV DVH since its release and its VERY FAST & seems to be very stable... I put apps I'd been having issues with on and no problems. 19202 wasnt really stable but give this one a shot if it suits you and dont be scared of the 6.1 boogeyman. besides, you can always go back to wm6...
i had been trying a bunch of different 6.1 roms on my hermes and was always having issues. Then i read somewhere that you need to flash it with the OEM version of 6.0. After i did this i flashed 6.1 back on and havent had any problems since.

Rom Recommendation - EnergyROM Series

Can anyone recommend a ROM similar to the "EnergyROM Series 3.0 21215 - Manila Edition" for the Rapheal?
My friend has this ROM and its amazing but i don’t think its compatible with my Diamond.
Suggestions please!
Thanks
My only suggestion is to ask NRGZ28 to cook up a Rom for the Diamond. He had thought about it at one time I am running his right now on my Raphael and it is very Fast and stable.
I would like to have this also..
I've tested this at work some day, previous version of Energy ROM, already with TF3D2 included which was pretty sweet running and probably the 3rd version is even better.
Who contacts him?
I too have had my eye on this rom in the raphael section and think it would make a gr8 diamond rom

Hi there Sam_C.
I don' know the Energy ROM you mentioned but from what I read from the thread I think you would like to try ShaksP 4.20 ROM. It has many of the Goodies in the Topaz ROM (new keyboards and menus, etc.), is very fast and ROCK SOLID.
I tried MANY, MANY ROMs for the Diamond and this one I recommend without reserve.

Shaks ROM is stable but if you try energy rom on rapcheal then only you know what is fast. Anyway cause to our limited RAM Shaks already put our Diamond to it's limit. Thanks Shaks
Well I guess it's a good thing I saw this thread eh ? I will try making a ROM for the diamond today, but I need someone to beta test to see if it boots properly, since I don't have a Diamond (!). If anybody's interested please send me a PM. I only need a couple people that have time on their hands to download, flash, test.... maybe a few times until we get it right Thanks
Testing Energy for the Diamond
I am happy to test your rom. I had the fuze and then went to the diamond i was not a fan of the keyboard. Your roms kick ass! All of the present ones for the diamond are great but they use too many resources or the light ones come with jack. So I will be happy to test. Send me a message and i will take care of this happily.
Shokouhi
If it is WM6.5, I will be the first to test it- well hopefully. Lol, it's hard to get off 6.5 once you're on it.
Thanks NRGZ.

I'll join in for beta testing. I've tryed many different 6.5 ROMs so far and can't say I'm happy with any one, performance wise.
Well here's a preliminary "test version" of the ROM. I'm not sure if it'll even boot, since I don't have a device to test on. However, the worst that can happen is it won't boot and then you have to flash back whatever other ROM you want. Please download, test... and get back to me somehow. PM would be best Oh... and if you don't know what do with the file, you probably shouldn't be testing this

Hi.
Can you please archive your ROM in RAR ?
Coz I can't download at my workplace, just to open.
THX.
Count me in 2 lol
I am downloading and i will let you know asap!!!
Quick update: this is safe to flash - it boots fine. Had it on for 2 minutes, I can't say much more at the moment.
i will test it also thanks
I've been testing this rom for the last half hour and have to say, quite impressive for a test rom.
A few problems though. There seems to be a lot less storage memory available and a lot less ram than any other rom.
I'm also really missing a task manager, and there's a few touch pro apps we dont need. There also only seems to be one keyboard to choose from.
On the plus side, activesync, wifi, notifications, camera and all the apps work flawlessly.I've added titanium weather without a hitch.
So thanks for all your hard work and hope you continue to work on this rom.
First let me do a disclamer: if i don't mention it - it either works or i didn't test it yet. I'd like to concentrate on things that don't work. I was too impatient to do customary hard reset after initial flash so ....
Impressions: it's true, if you never tryed NRGZ28's ROM you don't know what "fast" means. This ROM is blazing!!!
- during initial setup and just after screen alingment, iwas expecting to set time zone and time - never showed up
- World card mobile does not work; it would not even start
- Some shortcuts placments was "questionable": Advanced Network Settings appear under System control applet; others were likely just me not being familliar with NRGZ28's ROMS
- Personal preferance: I prefer MSVC over CVSD
- Only default WM keyboard works; would like to see TD2 or D2 SIP here
More after hard reset...

That is a Rhodium rom ... i.e. for a device that has 4 times the memory of our P3600i (and more than double the screen resolution too)
There are still a few people who cook P3600i roms with the earlier version of Manila (that home screen you love) but it always ends up using over 90% memory when idle and the whole phone runs very sluggish or just crashes constantly.
Sorry

I am still working on my new kitchen for p3600i so there will be more new rom as soon as I am finished. In my experience the most stable roms I have ever had have been some of the wm6.5 builds using chome/titanium instead of M2D (Manilla). It just simply uses less memory and that is what we are the most lacking.
However Nosedive has just released his long awaited "n083" rom for p3600i/trinity. His roms have always been very fast and stable and this one seems to be built from a p3600i NK so you probably won't have the random corruption of the previous trinity roms (that had just been mod_i patched to run on p3600i).
