while having worked with the good old mdacompact1 I have collected a rather professional knowledge about the gadget.
Recieving my german artemis or rather hero (it doesnt have wlan) I am in need of your help with the following:
1.) howto dump/save the orig. rom?
2.) howto install wwe rom ( can I use the one from wiki?)
3.) howto increase storage by deleting ext. rom, (similar to mksbigstorage under ppc2003) ?
4.) any failsave way of unlocking the simlock of the german gadget?

Since Mamaich has been able to make our universals capable of upgrading the ram memory to 128MB, is there any chance for upgrading the Flash ROM as well (to 256MB or more)?
Would really like to hear whether anyone is trying on this?

There is no way!
The MDA has no place to add 4 Memory-Devices!
The other way is to install 1GBit Memory-Chips. But this does not exist (which are compatible to the pinning and funktion of the original chips)!
So the limit is 128MByte.
The PXA270 can address up to 1GByte. But the MDA can not use it.

Overclocking
Does anybody tried overclocking? To which frequency? I downloaded Home_screen_UI from http://www.chi-tai.info/cs_batterystatus_xda_neo_wm5_im_cs.htm#Download which allows overclocking. But I'm a bit affraid of setting something. I don't want to destroy my new toy.

M810 HARD Reset.
First step: switch of youre mobile.
Second steput together the POWER BUTTON + CAMERA BUTTON + GREENPHONE BUTTON.
Third step: Very slow let the power button lose.
IT should take some time to start up know.
The windows mobile start up in orginal state.

Hi, I have test with 234MHz overclock and I see a good prestation increase, particularly when play video. I used for small time.

Amsam M810 memory problem
Hi, same problem. According to most sellers it should accept cards up to 8GB, but mine does also 2 Gb max!
Tried several 4 and 8 Gb cards without any succes.
Have not seen any patch so far.

AMSAM M810 ussd problem

I've recently bought amsam m810 and everithing works perfect except that I can not send ussd messages. When I try to dial *xxx# my phone says "Waiting..." and nothing happens. Initially in my Windows dir there were only ussd.exe, ussd.exe.0409.mui and ussd.exe.lnk. I’ve changed the registry entry HKLM/ControlPanel/Phone/SupressUSSD to 0. I’ve added USSD_Service.dll to windows dir and a registry key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Services\USSD with the following entries
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Services\USSD]

"Prefix"="APP"
"Index"=dword:00000008
"Dll"="\\windows\\ussd_Service.dll"

I am a newbie here so please go easy on me. I have a HP Ipaq 4700 with WM2003 and would like to upgrade to the WM6.1 as advised in this forum. I have few queries and would be very grateful if any one could help me. here it goes....
1. Which WM6.1 version is the most stable version out there? I came across this website from a fellow forummer and which version should I use?
