I have an big probleme with my HTC diamond !
if i flash my BASE rom firmware my HTC reboot with the same message :
MicropERROR
Microp Version Mismatch 0
Please update latest Microp firmware
* my version is MicroP-Diam (LED) v11*
if you have rom version for update it thanks or over solution !
I have allways make : Hard reboot and soft reboot , changing firmware ect ......

I'm not sure what ur saying, but if you flashing a htc stock rom its possible cant update because of region specific, if you havent have hardspl installed try and flash again,

Mine is also MicroP-Diam (LED) v11 and flashing is no problem for me. Try using Hard-SPL like Dutty suggests ...
I have exactly the same problem.
Even while updating the screen is black.

Some time, the screen in black, only can hear the music-volumen up/down.
I try battery off/on severy times to get a typical error:

unfortunately I'm facing the same problem.
the screen effectively is black, but I can see homepage etc as it's in standby.
MAYBE, but it's only in my mind, we could fix the problem installing windows mobile 6.1 professional.
But the problem is: who has wm 6.1 professional?anyone can post the link for download?

just reflashed to dutty's 3.4, still the same problem.
seems like the phone is working because it will make the power on noise when i turn it on, but the screen isn't showing anythign again.

Got the same problem after flashing Dutty´s 3.4 - after first restart display was only "very dark" that I even could read it - "microp version mismatch 0 - update microp firmware", after second reboot the display is off permanently I flashed originila stock ROM and then signed SPL but the problem is still same... Really don´t know what to do now. How to upgrade "micorp firmware"???
edited: How did You all guys have fix that?? Is there any way instead of send it for warranty repair?? Here in Czech I´m worryin about the time of repair - and guess it will take probably one month n I can´t miss my phone for so long time:-((((
So please does anbybody know if it is SW or HW problem?? If it could be solved without repair by authorized service???
Problem hasn't got anything to do with coocked roms, hardspl or whatever....I had the problem too and had original 1.37 and 1.93 stock rom on my Diamond (Dutch). Had it send to HTC's repair lab in Belgium (www.eurotwice.be) but they couldn't repair it. Got a new one because of extenden/extra warrenty I bought when I bought my phone and cellurar subscripton with my telco.....
sounds like the hermes whitescreen problems that have been solved..

Anyhow, if everyone with this problem can fill in the following:
- Do you use a HardSPL / Custom ROM?
- Have you ever flashed your device?
- Is your diamond of a special brand? (like T-mobile or Sprint)
- When did you purchase your phone?
Maybe we can find somekind of link...

I used HardSPL 1.40 Olinex, Dutty´s 3.4 ROM, my device flashed manytimes without any problems, Diamond is not branded a I purchased it here in Czech in e-shop (English version).

Yep my Diamond is dead
Not "fully dead" - is detected by PC so I flashed back stock SPL and ROM - both 1.93
It seems that PDA is working, but nor display neither buttons light
Ok today I sent it to warranty service n will see...I only hope that when i was flashing back stock ROM n stock SPL without display it was succesfull

i want to install WM6.5 ROM V17 for HTC Touch Viva (Opal) i have an htc touch viva rom versoin 1.27.707.1 wwe i bought the phone unlocked the problem im having is any time i use the rom utility it dose every thing rite an when it gets to 2% my phone restarts an a error code 270 appears on my pc screen ive tried this with many roms an all give the same problem help me plzz many thanks in advance..

then i flash hard-spL-1.39 olinex .hard-spl-1.40 olinex -development verision .
When i inter boot loader it's hard-spl40 olinex
but i cant flash any rom it's error invaild id trying a lot rom wm6.1
nothing work it's closed at 1% then i see the error
then i trying flashing the rom by storege method but's not work too....
i no know what's the wrong ???

make manual usbflashing threecollor settings and use normal ruu for flash.Maybe im more time use for ole htc diamond because show me message low battery but battery is full 70-80 % and im use usbsettings <threecolor menu> and flash

Hi, I also have an o2 xda ignito...Download the attached file, and extract "SSPL_Manual" onto your phone and run it, the screen will go blank...now just flash with hard spl olinex 1.93 unsigned by running "DiamonCustomRUU" and then flash the rom of your choice.

and then in installed wmpoweruser new 6.5.3 rom
but after flashing phone stucked on touch diamond screen and nothing happens.whats the probelm ? please help me.is for one my freinds and i promised a good rom to him and now its broken.

hard reset the device once and boot again.... post back if its stuck... will see what we can do..
Hello seniors i m new to this forum .i have a htc p3300 arte100 when i power on its stuck on htc logo n shows
ipl 3.07.001
spl 3.07.000
gsm 02.69.90
os 3.7.0.0.
And when i perform hard reset it shows format is failed.
So i rquest all seniors to pls help me toresolve this prob as i m new to htc software
Hi and welcome to xda-developers.
It looks like the rom on the device is bad. Read up on how to flash a custom rom and try one of the latest custom roms. It might fix it.
