Is your iGO under \Program Files\iGO8 or is it located under \Storage Card\<some folder you put it>?
You see, it's no use asking for somebody's sys.txt, because it will be different.
iGO should work on almost any HTC. I works on HD, Diamond, Diamond2, Pro, Pro2, ...
Just try it and if you have a problem, come and ask here what to do...

I put it under IGO8 (in sd card)
Why do you say its should work well on any HTC? because of the screen of the HD i saw that you must chage it.
From the list i gave above, what version works for Diamond and what version work for HD?

We can't know what version you have just by showing us the version-number. Especially not if you show us multiple times the same version, just written differently! :/

I've been trying to get TTS to work for weeks, with no success so far. Whenever I select a TTS voice it's silent.
How did you install TTS? Would it be possible to post of list of the folders/files in your Igo setup?
I don't have sys.ini file - only a sys.txt file - could this be a problem?

what is the best baud rate to set up the GPS settings.
I also noticed that the GPS is little bit off in few meters how can I fix that.
I am running Rom 6.5 europe on T Mobile
I use unbranded TP2 with the below configuration:

I have been working on to get Igo 8 on it,
but everytime I start it up, it says:
failed to open file: ui_igo8\480_800\loading.bmp exiting application.
Can somebody explain what I am doing wrong?

An error you report means, you use "data.zip" file that does not support skin being selected.
Either you should change the skin or google for a right "data.zip" file.
all right, those of you who claim to be using 480-800 settings, i'm not saying you're wrong, but have you tried to install a 480-800 skin? whenever i put a 480-800 into my skins folder the program ignores it. however, the lower resolution version of the skin shows up and has no problem loading. this leads me to believe that the program is not actually running at 480-800. am i missing something here? any igo8 gurus have any idea?
iGO8 shows only skins fitting into it's settings so lack of 480x800 resolution means incorrect sys.txt
I use the below settings to get Gurjon skin working fine with 480x800 resolution:

Additionally, you need to have data.zip file supporting this resolution, otherwise you will receive an error message as reported few posts before.

Please note that there are TWO copies of sys.txt - one is located on your SD card while the second is (typically) located on your device in program files\igo8 folder.
iGO8 is using that SECOND one...
tovermars - first off your having that error because u have the wrong data.zip that doesnt have a 480x800 resolution in the zip file and or ur sys.txt file isnt in landscape mode...uur best bet to try to see if u have atleast one of them right..is to before u start igo8..open ur slideout keyboard and put ur screen in landscape mode vmanually..then start igo8..this should work and the program should open like normal because ur phone is alrdy in landscape mode before u start the program...#2 if that doe s work u may need to go to settings and turn ur screen to landscape mode everytime u want to start igo8..which will be a pain but atleast u get it to work..ur gonna need to adjust ur sys.txt settings and put landscape mode in the text..
people having tts problems u need to have the right audio folder in the root igo8 folder with the correct "EN" files that come with tts..theres a perfect site for this that will solve all of ur igo8 problems but u guys gotta find it urselves..the first pa4rt of the address is ppc the rest if "blank" cant use that word here in xda so search for ppc"blank".org and go to gps section ull solve all ur problems.
This version "iGO8.3.2.80621" works great on my T-Mo HTC TP2.

I got the the 800 x 480 working properly on either portrait and landscape only. I can't seem to be able to change orientation to 800 x 480 as I please. It must be the sys.txt is either setting the resolution to portrait only, or landscape only. Is it just me having this issue ?
I have installed iGo8 on the Mini, a lot of work on the sys but finally managed to make it work. I still have one problem, when navigating I don't see the position triangle. Any idea which sys line addresses that?

can you publish sys.txt ?
I downloaded a data.zip file in 480x320 and a sys.txt file modified from a Russian forum and it works, but I have the same problem with the arrow. I'll check that file wranglers, thanks
Edit: Yeah I can see the arrow with yout sys.txt but, can I ask why is only 800 bytes and the one I had before 2.5kb?

Yours is twice as big becouse there are twice as much lines.

How/why are you using portrait mode? Those files are ready to work in landscape mode, I can see everything in my screen

good, how much is version? I only have Nav N Go iGO 8.3.2.96054 version
I'm running 8.3.4.117940, not sure if it makes a difference though.
error after 10 minute of work

I there somebody to help me? I tried two versions of iGO8 on my HD mini. Both ver.works fine, but only first ten minutes. Then the screen turns black (there is only time, batery, signal, GPS visible). But I can still hear navi instructions. After few minutes switch PDA off, because of automatic swich off in setting of device.
Than I can start the voice with black screen - press main switch.
But I cant do some else. I have to take the battery out, for restart...
Oops, now I downdloaded new zip files and all works...

I think the problem is because Igo hasn't been designed to work on this screen resolution so somebody changed the data in the branding/data zips. So errors will occur but at least it works for now in Landscape.
Any idea how can I make the position triangle smaller?

I was using iGO8 (8.3.2.64873) on a HTC Magician (S100) and it was working perfectly (except some "out of memory"). Now I tried to use this version on a HD Mini - with the previously posted branding and data.zip; thanks for that, NitroNitrous.
When I start iGO8.exe, the startscreen appears, but right after it shows "INIT API" the startscreen is closed. I tried to modify the sys.txt, but this didn't help.
Does anybody know what I can do about it?

Add the following to sys.txt file:
[2d]
use_flat3d=1
If you want to speed up your iGO Primo you can add to the sys.txt the following line:
[debug]
max_memory=419430400
It will dramatically increase your iGO Primo work speed.

Thanks for both solutions. Both works for me on Gallaxy S7 flat. Though, now when selecting rout alternatives the new route is not being refreshed on the rout alternatives screen, so I can not see the difference between them, only after going back to navigation mode. Any chance of fixing that as well?

Just installed igo basar version iGO_Basar_9.18.27.717219.apk
Adapted sys.txt so that it does no longer ask for download. No message appears but the display
remains black and I need to hit several times the tab's buttons to get back to normal screen.
The app then is ended with a message..
