The Zoom Bar works in Album but not in Outlook (and is very sluggish).
Any advice on a hack to fix this?
The accelerometer doesn't work on any program - not Today screen, Album or Opera.
Any advice on a hack to fix this?
Many thanks.
I see no sluggishness,
zoombar works fine in pictures (fullscreen), GPS software, Opera. - and whatever uses it.
mine's fine too. zoombar is very responsive, even on very very large image files.
accelerometer only works in certain programs by default (there are various apps that allow it to work in others)

Sure, you can add registry keys manually for the exe files you want to autorotate. I think the application must support it natively though.
it supports it becuase when i slide out the keyboard it goes into landscape mode
You could try G-Config (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=487991). Worked for most applications for me and is way easier than hacking around in the registry.
Can someone help me I hope?
I've tried installing Flip it & Changescreen with a whole host of settings.
I've tried Registry settings
I've tried disabling G-Sensor
Looked in Opera Settings, and advanced settings
...but for the life of me I cant stop Opera from rotating to Landscape mode.
Its driving me insane. I found reference to a "stop opera rotating" cab but cant find where its hosted.
Its not the worst thing to live with in the world but having my page stuck upsidedown or in landcape because the rotation is buggy is pretty useless to me.
Anyone help?
I wouldn't mind this too.
I sometimes read lying on my side in bed - the auto-rotate makes this infuriating.
MOD EDIT
Moved this thread out of general discussion into Themes, Applications and Software forum
my advice would be to hold the phone in
one position
In Flip-It preferences add Opera.exe (or opera9.exe) to the program list and check only the 0 degree box.
What kind of registry settings have you tried?
Have you checked if Opera is listed here: HKCU\Software\HTC\HTCSENSOR\GSensor\WhiteList\ ?
If it is, remove it and soft-reset. Stopped rotation for me...
I've searched but can't seem to find if there's a newer version of the S2V photo album that will work well with the Tilt2. The old one (0.42) doesn't zoom (and the native album program doesn't seem to allow me to sort my photos by anything other than most recent). It's a great program, and I'd love to be able to continue using it. Any thoughts? Thanks.
The best way to zoom is to use the d arrows on the keyboard. You would have to open the keyboard and manually rotate the screen to zoom in portriat view. S2V also refuses to zoom in or out on some of my large pics.
How do I get the images inside slideshow to auto-rotate based on the orientation of the phone? I mean, when I rotate the phone, the image inside a slideshow does not rotate? I want to rotate it to landscape/portrait.
I have tried changescreen and have created exception for htcalbum. Although thumbnails of images inside a album do rotate as I move the phone, but when I start slideshow then the images will not rotate. Any way to do this?
Also I tried Dotfred's Taskmanager and applied GSensor.reg file. It also rotates most of the apps, but htcalbum still has the same problem. I could not figure out how to do this.
I will also like to know if there is a way to undo changes made by importing GSensor.reg file?
Thanks
theres been alot of talk about this. theres just no rotation support in album 3. if your looking at the album itself and not a photo, it does rotate. so the program knows its rotating and ignores the command to do it. i dont know why htc did this, it was a key feature on the original touch pro. ask for the registry edits, you can go into hkcu\software\htc\htcsensor (doing it from memory, my phone is too far away to check this) and delete what you dont want up.
I've just installed CM11 on my SM-T525, everything works fine, but Chrome is kinda bugged, I don't see tabs and can't properly navigate between them (see screenshot). The bigger navigation buttons and address bar work fine, but there should be tabs instead of smaller ones.
I tried to reboot but that didn't help.
Any ideas how to fix this?
