Dell Axim X51v downgrade WM6->Wm5?? Help Me!!

I want to downgrade my axim x51v from Wm6 to Wm5 but I couldn't do it. Can anyone help me!!!

Here is a link to the files for the Dell Axim X51v A012 ROM. Someone posted this a while back under the A03 thread. I have used these with my Ax with success, but bear no responsibility if they don't work for anyone else. These must be flashed using the SD Bootloader method.
To read the steps for flashing from SD, look in WM6 A03 Thread.

If I might suggest, try the Wm6 upgrade again. I really like Wm6 A03 RTM, and the only reason I have this A012 ROM is because I had to downgrade and reupgrade, because my ax didn't like the fact that I went to A017 inbetween. Everything works well for me now.

Have you tried doing it with the original Dell firmware software (on the CD)? I read somewhere in this forum that you can use it to fix a bad flash, I never did myself (very happy wm6 user).

This is old but felt nostalgic today.
MOD EDIT: LINK REMOVED DUE TO FORUM RULE #7 VIOLATION
Follow this to downgrade but be warned the Axim or just old PDAs are picky on the SD cards you use, or maybe how its formatted. dug up many sd cards and micro sd adapters until i found one that finally worked. Also be patient because its slow to flash image.
Used a Nokia branded 1.0GB sd card that i dont remember where i found it, formatted on windows 11 to FAT32 and maybe guiformat-x64.Exe (so many sd cards and formatting combos)
Edit: mod removed link because it had an offer to do the downgrade but had isntructions on how to do it, wont post again but its been posted around here before, i was not trying to sell anything.

Im pretty sure it is unlocked because I did install the USPl by poof and i did try to install the original files but it still giving me errors ! What can I do we talk about 1 month phone !!! please help me SOS

Why would you want to downgrade to WM5? WM5 was a pain in my arse. so many problems I could have smashed my phone with a hammer (estwing of course) a thousand times. Have you tried to upgrade instead? a new batch of diamond roms is looking like an awsome possibility at the moment. Aside from that, are you using vista or xp?

I get the same problem: after 2% the ROM Updater (at my point this one: "HTC_1.12.405.01_026790_WWE_SHIP") says: 244 Invalid Model ID.
Also, I previous installed USPL (again) via the Artemis_USPL.
I did an update to the "Artemis Touch 4.02 Full with 4 sided cube" ROM before, so if there would be a problem with that?..
For me all the WM6-based ROMs are too slow for an 200Mhz-Phone, e.g. my Phone needs like 10 seconds to load the contacts (no other software is running at the same time..). So its getting a little on my nervs..
I tried to find a WM 2003SE ROM for the Artemis, but there is no such Version.
Any suggestions?!
edit: I am from Germany, so is this "HTC_1.12.405.01_026790_WWE_SHIP" ROM not compatible with a german HTC Artemis?

hm, if i remember correctly this is all about the different bootloader versions...
could it be downgrade (in bootloaders) is not possible..???

and:you must use uspl before you try another rom, it might have been altered by another rom!!!

how faster is it than a normal wm5 rom? are there any pictures to see how it looks like?

dor515,listen to the guys wm5 sucks,really...and for those 200mhz...try overclocking with batterystatus...you can get 247mhz all the time (which is preferred) and if you want you can set up to 300 (at your own risk)

New user, some questions

First of all, sorry for my bad english .
I've bhought a couple of days ago a brand new htc p3300, and now I want to buy a SD.
Can you please tell me if I can put a SD with a capacity bigger than 2 gb?
The problem is that at the moment I can NOT upgrade windows mobile 5 into version 6... so for wm5 exist a patch to solve the limit of 2gb?

No, it's new but p3300 has istallaed wm 5.0, I've already checked.
Does the patch works also for wm 5.0?

I just buy a p3300 for my girl and it's a WM6: WM5 is too old, you think about a "last piece" of an old stock!!!
Good device (but my BlackStone is powerfull ) and I a new device buied it at 99€!!

HP Ipaq 4700 upgrade query

Hi guys,
I am a newbie here so please go easy on me. I have a HP Ipaq 4700 with WM2003 and would like to upgrade to the WM6.1 as advised in this forum. I have few queries and would be very grateful if any one could help me. here it goes....
1. Which WM6.1 version is the most stable version out there? I came across this website from a fellow forummer and which version should I use?

2. What are the correct procedures to do it properly. If i follow the instructions from the above website then will it suffice?
3. I would like to use my pda as a mobile internet device when i am out and about. is it possible? and what should I use to achieve this? I would like to get GPRS/HSPA internet access via a mobile phone sim and can an adapter be used or bought?
4. Will upgrading to WM6.1 increase the SD or CF2 card slot capacity? If so what is the maximum SD card it can take? Will it take High capacity SD cards? If not then what is the maximum capaity I could go for?

HTC P3300 don't read micro sd 2gb

hi guys,
i'm a new user and i have a questions for you.
I have a htc p3300 and from some days don't read the micro sd.
Days ago was enough to restart and come back to read it. Now is that yesterday does not read the micro sd.
I bought a new micro sd but not read.
What can I do?

I solved by installing the cab ArtemisSDEnhancement.CAB
