Voice Commander in WM6

I just "upgradet" to WM6 and I love it.
But I can´t get the voice commander to work.. In WM5 I just recorded what i wanted to a contact and then i choose to which number..
WM6: I tryid to go to "settings" and record my whifes name, but every time i press the buttom assigned to Voice Commander a stupid womans voice starts to talt ?? - or it plays one of my "RingTones" i have on my MicroSD card....
I can see that i can "UN-TJECK" every RingTone or program or name under "settings" but it takes forever, and i think it sucks.....
Arrrggg... is there anyway i can just go back to the metod used in WM5? - or can somebody help me to learn to use the one from WM6

WoW - I don´t know what that .cab file is but it totally froze up my P3300 - Now i cant even turn it on.. it frizes at the boot screen???
Hum... damn... now i have to start all over by flashing and re-installing everything

Hi again Tom.. I tryid installing again after Hard-Reset and it worked.. but it´s the problem as i was having in the other Voice Commander - Actully i can´t find any differense ecept the icon?

upgrading WM6 official HTC - lost smart dial

Hy Guys. First time here.
Great job all!
So my problem...I've upgrade the 1605 to HTC VM6 official ROM but once I try to go to phone with the dialer, smart function are off as well as dispaying the digit numbers.
Practically I don't know if I make the right number.
Do I have to edit some registry or id a known bug?

Resolving Smart Dialing
Try opening the phone app, then clicking on Menu (bottom-left or soft button) and hit "Smart Dialing Options..."
It may just not be enabled.

No incoming call screen and sound

Hi,
After I've installed kaiser dialpad and commmanager (from Schen) on my hermes (windows mobile 6, original rom from HTC) I have problem with incoming calls. When someone is calling me, I don't get the incoming call screen, neither any sound of ringtone/vibration. I get only "Call status" button on the main screen but I don't know who is calling.
I tried uninstalling dialpad and commManager but that not helped.
I have earlier reTouched dialpad for Wizard installed. So I think that made the problem.
I am new to widows mobile, so can anyone help me deal with it?

I just installed reTouched, uninstalled it, and then installed kaiser dialpad, and now everything works. My bad, topic can be closed.

Unknown things at HTC P3300

hello there .. i am the happy owner of a HTC p3300 .. but i want to explain me some things:
1. what i need to see youtube videos ?! when i browse youtube ... and i select a video, it opens the windows media player and the video is not working ...
2. when i don't answer the phone, a sms is sent automatically. how can i cancel this option ?!

Here are instructions to handle your first issue. I've tried it myself and it works.:

As for your second issue... I don't have that problem. Why is an SMS sent when you don't answer the phone? What does it contain? When I don't answer my phone, my phone just shows a missed call, unless a voice message was left.

The second problem might be related to the providers voicemail set up, at least with t-mobile you can set up such behaviour to get an (or many) SMS for missed call. Nothing to be done on artemis, this can be changed at the provider.

i've mananged the problem with sms ... mobile secretary was (epic fail)
but with youtube still working ..

Change Registry via Autostart for Voicemail Problem

Hey guys,
I've already searched a lot of stuff in this forum and enjoyed your work - amazing
But I've got following problem:
My Voicemail show's ALWAYS that there are new messages. But I have no Voicemail activated and NO Voicemails.
I got the solution for my problem already, it's to change the registry key with the following Reg file:
REGEDIT4
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\System\State\Messages\vmail\Line1\Unread]
"Count"=dword:00000000
How can I put that into a batch file on Autostart or something?
Because everytime I softreset - it's deleted - and I got the problem again.
The Autostart on WM 6.5 doesn't handle reg files
It would be nice if you give me some tips for this.

I take it this issue happens after a hard reset or rom flash, but entering those reg settings makes it go away? Made a cab to enter your registry settings, hope it works for you. Alternatively you can have Sashimi add registry files automatically. If the problem occurs every time you soft reset I don't know the answer, sorry.

Well - it didn't helped , but thanks for your help...
After installing the symbol for Voicemail is already there.
If I change it manual via Mobile Registry Editor it's fixed directly after synchronizing via Active Sync.
Another possible solution could be, to set the reg worth permanently to zero?! Is this possible?
That would solve the whole problem...

I had this problem too and I've fixed it by leaving a voicemail to myself
and delete it right after that. the 'new voicemail' icon disappeared and the problem
is now solved.
But, i do have a voicemail activated so i don't know if this is the right solution for you.
Maybe you should try enter your phone setting :
Setting -> Personal -> Phone, and then tap the 'Services' tab.
Choose "Voice Mail and Text Messages" and tap 'Get Setting'.
Do you see any number associated under 'Voice Mail' ?
If it does, try to delete it.

Thanks for your tip, but the Voicemail is deactivated by provider and I can't turn it on
I know the number of Voicemail too, but if I dial the number, I can just turn on and off the notification SMS if I missed a call.
