i have tried installing Unsigned-Hard-SPL-Diamond-OliNex 1.40 version i think, and i have tried plenty of other versions to. but i keep getting the same error 244 invalid model id.
i have tried instructions on this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=409425 page but i dont think it is for installing a hard spl, i think it's talking about installing a rom.

If I look at your signature I'd say you have a Raphael (TouchPro) and not a Diamond. Try searching the Raphael forum. Here's the link to the HSPL thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=410150

brains1111, youe device is htc raphael aka touch pro. use propper hspl !!!!!!!
jasmannan htc touch diamond 2 is different device that first diamond. it's htc topaz, hardspl and custom rom dont exist yet for that model !!!

Im pretty sure it is unlocked because I did install the USPl by poof and i did try to install the original files but it still giving me errors ! What can I do we talk about 1 month phone !!! please help me SOS
Why would you want to downgrade to WM5? WM5 was a pain in my arse. so many problems I could have smashed my phone with a hammer (estwing of course) a thousand times. Have you tried to upgrade instead? a new batch of diamond roms is looking like an awsome possibility at the moment. Aside from that, are you using vista or xp?
I get the same problem: after 2% the ROM Updater (at my point this one: "HTC_1.12.405.01_026790_WWE_SHIP") says: 244 Invalid Model ID.
Also, I previous installed USPL (again) via the Artemis_USPL.
I did an update to the "Artemis Touch 4.02 Full with 4 sided cube" ROM before, so if there would be a problem with that?..
For me all the WM6-based ROMs are too slow for an 200Mhz-Phone, e.g. my Phone needs like 10 seconds to load the contacts (no other software is running at the same time..). So its getting a little on my nervs..
I tried to find a WM 2003SE ROM for the Artemis, but there is no such Version.
Any suggestions?!
edit: I am from Germany, so is this "HTC_1.12.405.01_026790_WWE_SHIP" ROM not compatible with a german HTC Artemis?
hm, if i remember correctly this is all about the different bootloader versions...
could it be downgrade (in bootloaders) is not possible..???

how faster is it than a normal wm5 rom? are there any pictures to see how it looks like?
dor515,listen to the guys wm5 sucks,really...and for those 200mhz...try overclocking with batterystatus...you can get 247mhz all the time (which is preferred) and if you want you can set up to 300 (at your own risk)

I'm trying to change the offical T-Mobile ROM to the newer offical 1.93 from HTC.
I have download the ROM exe from this site but when it trys to install ROm an error comes saying "Error 244 invalid model ID".
I have tried searching & looking through loads of threads but all seems very complicated to a numpty like me!
Can some body please talk me through in easy steps to help me?

You have to install hardSPL first. I prefer 1.40 from olinex.

Hi everyone,
I've just upgraded my (french) Diamond's HardSPL with the OliNex version found in the topic "Hard-SPL or how I learned to stop worrying and love the MPU". Everything was OK at this time so I booted and HTC "reinstalled" the TF3D interface files.
Everything is still working but when I tried (several times) to upgrade the Radio version to v1.00.25.05, the program stays at 0% for 3 minutes and then gave me the 262 update error. I tried to connect my Diamond to different USB ports but didn't change anything.
So I decided to download the official update from HTC website and install it (witch I did) but this update doesn't work too (same error)
The strory is not so bad because my Diamond is still working but I want to install an unofficial ROM...

To remove all doubt and be able flash virtually any rom, flash the developer edition unsigned Hard-SPL from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=400950. It should do the trick for you.

then i flash hard-spL-1.39 olinex .hard-spl-1.40 olinex -development verision .

make manual usbflashing threecollor settings and use normal ruu for flash.Maybe im more time use for ole htc diamond because show me message low battery but battery is full 70-80 % and im use usbsettings <threecolor menu> and flash

Hi, I also have an o2 xda ignito...Download the attached file, and extract "SSPL_Manual" onto your phone and run it, the screen will go blank...now just flash with hard spl olinex 1.93 unsigned by running "DiamonCustomRUU" and then flash the rom of your choice.

Hi, is your phone CDMA? If you live in North America it likely is...don't try to flash GSM ROMS on your phone mate. Try looking here for more help:

I think thats a closer match to your phone than the diamond!

I finally fixed it My phone is a GMS due to the fact its a Sim-card phone,
I also ha trouble with everything because I was using Roms and such for the diamond my
phone is basically a Raphael.

You CAN NOT FLASH DIAMOND's rom on your RAPHAEL ( FUZE ) or you will have a brick.
