BlackBerry Theme?

hey whats up peeps.
ive been dying over the last few days. I do currently have a dash, and my contract will be up in about 2 months. ive been going to a bunch of cellphone stores, to kinda research what i want next, and im pretty much thinking about waiting unit either the touch pro 2 comes out or the snap. the real reason im writing tho, is because i have recently fallen in love with the visuals from the newest blackberrys. however i personally thing the blackberry os is useless and not as smart as wimo. so dose anyone know of a skin/theme that can emulate something like the blackberry bold?

however not really not what i wanted.
any help. plz i love the look of the bold.... not enough to buy a blackberry tho.

I don't think anybody else wants to make their Dash look like a Blackberry but you, good luck on that.

Yah I wouldn't want to make my dash look like a BB, I mean thats why I got a dash not a BB... haha

Sorry but it looks like nobody else is interested on making their dash look like a BB.
This is the only thing that I would consider to use that's pretty sweet, if I wasn't addicted to the sliding panels. You might like it.

I woundnt mind on having the BB like UI on my dash as long as I can use my cabs. I sometimes refer my dash as "the poormans blackberry"

all i want is a homescreen theme. i swear if i knew how to do this i would so do it

[THEME] Juggalos and Juggalettes JF 1.5.

This Theme is for JF 1.5.
I do have one question...
Can you be kind and Brutal at the same time?
I'm Posting the update zip for you all, I'm not having any problems with it. Also if you want feel free to port this theme to any other build as there are only Icon Changes, I did not get into XML or .9.png Files.

If you want a fileden.com account get one they are free just keep skipping the ads, its a bit of a pain in the ass but worth it

its good for the first time but its kinda too red and colourful....i would get dizzy easily.....

Anyways, I get what you're trying to do, but the theme doesn't exactly flow together. Personally, I'm most fond of the RiddleBox colors, the purple, lime green, and black work well together. Personally preference is all that is. As it is right now, it's hard to just get the psychopathic vibe, as it's not a smooth skin. Think of the jokers cards, think of the Bizaar/Bizzar album, they were all relatively smooth and really non violent with more of a dark twisted nature. Maybe try to capture that?

Since when is ICP "punk"??? Seriously ...
They would be considered a weird mix of metal/rap. Nothing like punk in any way. I'm not a fan of anything more than a couple songs but I know them well enough to know that's nothing near punk.
Also, perhaps it's dead where you are and all you folks listen to is top 20 BS and dance music, but honestly I'd rather listen to that then the techno crap you listen to out there.
Back on topic. Not at all my style. Too bright in my opinion..... HOWEVER, keep in mind that if you like it? Chances are someone else does as well. Don't try to make the masses happy. Make something you like and (like you have) ask for suggestions. There WILL be people that like it.

I'm working on making it flow now... I know know how to make a theme on the technical side, I'm still working on cohesiveness. and knowing what colors work with what, you know what I mean?
I am using purple, green, black, and a touch of other colors.
Will post updates later when I have more done and more time.

I live in Wa too. In Renton. You wanna see some Juggalos, Freemont's the place to be. lol

Can't wait to try this in the morning....I think I requested an ICP/psychopathic records theme months ago in the request thread.

Just because psychopathic went back underground where we belong after the hay day on MTV doesnt mean they went down hill. Psychopathic is one of, if not the stongest underground label out there. Juggalos arnt going anywhere...though we may be flooded with many candy kids who shop at hot topic. nature of the beast.
MCL thanx for the theme though its not refined enough to make the cut. Please do some more a long these lines ill keep looking out.

As far as I know it won't. Themes are specific to each build.

Yeah, I second that.

The day that HTC goes with a nice simplistic design for it's software... Well, that will be a nice day
Then again, Android on it's own is simplistic. I really don't have any need for HTC's bloat.

I need to see more to pass judgement. I don't know if I dislike or like the new look of sense. I guess I will wait and see. Maybe they have added more ways of customizing its look. Like maybe allowing you to change the background of the app drawer. If so that would be nice. Though I am sure I am just being a wishful thinker.
The lock screen was better with the curve in it

I have a black theme, including plain black wallpaper. It looks amazing on the Super AMOLED. It would be great if the settings could be turned black.

that background is likely going to be part of the framework. i wouldn't imagine it would be xml code since it's gradient, but i could be wrong...
edit: it's called within the Settings.apk so i'll break it apart and take a look really quick.

I meant to come here and ask the very same thing. Would be nice if someone could change it. Would be even better if they could add in even more things lol.
That said, I have to ask. Why would you want to limit yourself to just black? Transparent ftw.

i have no clue. i've been poking around in both framework and settings and can't seem to find the call in =/
edit: it's bothering me because i've changed this on accident within the Settings.apk on Gingerbread

my question is "where is the Blackout Rom?". black and/or transparent all the way across the board and rom ftw. and who is doing black gloss painting for the nexus mod?

transparent with black blackground for wallpaper achieves the same thing and lets you kinda see what's going on behind that window sometimes.

thanks mate! i just saw that someone confirmed my thoughts, that it was indeed pulled in from framework. i figured this was the case, though, since you see this background in other non system apps.
i don't have my environment set up here at work, but as soon as i get back home i'll figure out where this is in Settings.apk and change it to black for you guys and post it here as a flashable (if no one beats me to it )

It is my business when people are hassling the devs in here. You kids need to learn some respect. The devs are here for free and don't need to be rushed with their work. Too many kids just expect things to be handed to them just as fast as they can ask for them.

just got the phone.

hi everone, i'm new here, just got the phone two days ago.
like it alot so far , do have 2 little yellow spots at the bottom of the screen, but if they dont get any worse their too little for me to get them repaired, i dont notice them at all anyways except for when i go looking for them .
do hope that the development will start going a bit faster soon, since i was a rom flashing addict with my last phone .
hope to have a good time here in these forums and see you all later,

Cool! Regarding the yellow spots, can you post some pics? I have no problem with my phone but I just wanted to get an idea of what to look out for.

i dont have a camera at hand at the moment, besides the one on the phone but that's obviously useless for this purpose, but their just like little yellow circles.

Here is the photo for One X, but yellow spots look exactly like on One V I've seen.

One of the causes of yellow spots can be a related to screen adhesive.
They say that if you turn your display to maximum brightness, the glue is melting and the spots eventually disappear.
