I cannot get the Diamond TF3D Config Setup to work on my HTC touch 3d T8285 mobile. I just get an exception error. even with Touch Flo turned off. How do I get around this? My rom version is: 1.121.841.1 (38850) WWE with a date of 01/06/09.
Hi, if you had at least looked on the original thread of the TF3D config you would have noticed that the developer is working on a new version, so no need to report known bugs !

Installed this version on my kaiser and it didn't work?! When i installed it and rebooted my phone I tried 2 access it from the settings menu it just poped out really quickly and nothing appeared. Does anyone have a solution for thiS?
Doesn't work on my Artemis as well. No change after reboot :-(

Hi,...New here,
I have made the leap into modifying my phone's software enough to download "RUU_Vogue_4350_ALLTEL_WWE_3.10.671.1_RS3.42.30_NV2.02_PRL30031_SHIP.exe" from Software.alltel.com. Was this update supposed to "unlock" my GPS? If not, does anyone know how I can accomplish this? Once I get that going, who knows, I might go crazy and utilized some of the fabulous ROMs you all are offering!

Yes that rom update is the official Alltel wm 6.1/ GPS update. It also has a 30 day trial for Alltel nav.
dont forget to go to settings>phone>location settings and turn it to "on"
And if your feeling real adventurous go over to ppcgeeks and try shadow-techs "super fast lock on" AGPS fix. Then download google maps and click use gps and you should be good.
P.S ( AGPS fix not nessissary to make it work, just gives you faster locks)

Thank you both for your advice! I didn't realize I had to turn it on under settings or that I received the new program (alltel navigator). I am on my way now! I haven't tried the fast lock update you mentioned, but I did install the unlocker so I can give some new looks a shot. Any recommendations for roms to try?

custom ROM & update?
With this update mentioned above..........I have already flashed to a custom ROM, do I have to flash back to the official alltel ROM before running this update? I have flashed to several REV A roms and can't get my GPS to lock or anything? have tried EVERYTHING, believe me...........

Mortplayer and TCPMP crash after loading WM 6.1 updates
I have just completed upgrading my OS to the latest 6.1 Pro and installed Conflippers Alltel ROM (Great ROM) however now mortplayer comes up freezes and then exits. Loaded TCPMP and it just crashes. I use NCH Pocket dictate and it had numerous errors on (Alltel) WM6.1 / LBS Update – Version 3.10.671.1 but after the Conflipper ROM, it works great. Is there an issue with WM6.1 and Mortplayer that anyone knows how to fix? Also, I did update Esmertec Jbed 20081203.2.1.cab that fixed the Java issues with the earlier version.

You should try out nfsfans roms here, imo
they are the best out there. They have all the new
touch flo features and are very stable.
He also does a very good job updating and supporting them.

youve answered your own question in your signature.
the duttys rom has an updated core and when you read the blurb on TF3D config
it says it wont work above a certain version. im in the same boat, just have to wait for developer to update the app.

hey thanks for your reply but when i try to install this on my computer it doesnt install properly but i think i already have it on my computer since some other apps that need it work fine on the phone but its the tf3d that doesnt work. I put the latest energy rom the other day but maybe i am installing the old version of tf3d or something? if someone can post the latest version of it i can try downloading it and see if it works?

I am wondering if there is a CAB out there for this, one with updatable database? Version 3.1 (build 2011.1826)
Reason I ask, is many custom ROMs out there do not have the updatable database version, and do not have my settings (yes to lazy to add manually).
I want to add this CAB to a custom ROM and have it work to get my setting automatically.
Getting each chef to cook it in is out of the question, so I wonder if I can install the CAB myself after flashing of a custom roms?

same Question, I can only get edge with one rom, not even with others that say they have 3.0. tried everything in manual settings, I don't know what I'm missing that it's getting..

The closest I got is HTC Connection Setup v2.7 in the SysConSetupTopaz27.cab found in this post.

i have htc touch diamond and i have upgraded it with donsalari SENSE 2.5 and Radio_1.00.25.05 but after that its motion sensor has stooped working and also its stooped connecting as disk drive with computer and internet sharing is not working, call history is not working and many more problems...
plz can anyone tell me which one is the stable working rom here for diamond? and what radio i have to use for it? and also what is the difference between Sense & Titanium roms... are all roms here work on htc touch diamond p3490?

Donsalari Rom-s used to be very stable, I used it for months (switched few weeks ago to Rottgrub's TF3D2.1 ROM), but I haven't had such problems with it, like the ones you mentioned above.
Anyway, did you MTTY your phone before installing ROM? Allways do MTTY to avoid strange problems.

try all the available ROMs and then decide which is the best for you.
