i have htc touch diamond and i have upgraded it with donsalari SENSE 2.5 and Radio_1.00.25.05 but after that its motion sensor has stooped working and also its stooped connecting as disk drive with computer and internet sharing is not working, call history is not working and many more problems...
plz can anyone tell me which one is the stable working rom here for diamond? and what radio i have to use for it? and also what is the difference between Sense & Titanium roms... are all roms here work on htc touch diamond p3490?

Donsalari Rom-s used to be very stable, I used it for months (switched few weeks ago to Rottgrub's TF3D2.1 ROM), but I haven't had such problems with it, like the ones you mentioned above.
Anyway, did you MTTY your phone before installing ROM? Allways do MTTY to avoid strange problems.

Yes the ROM's in the "Touch Diamond, MDA Compact IV ROM Development" forum work on Touch Diamond GSM phones.
try all the available ROMs and then decide which is the best for you.

Hi all,
I would like to know if is it possible to install only the TouchFlo stuff without changing the ROM of my PDA.
I already donwloaded and installed 2 different ROMs but my PDA had performance problems.
I changed back to original HTC Windows Mobile 6 for my phone and performance is really fine.
If it's possible to install only the TouchFlo (using a cab for example), where can I download it?

Hi, I'm new on the forum, and I need some help to change my P5500 ROM, I'm trying to have D3D and OpenGL on it, but all the ROMs I installed solved in a very slow PPC, compared to the latest ROM from HTC I've installed the HardSPL 1.22 and tried NIKI Lite 2.1 (but no D3D)
So, I don't know if I must reinstall the HTC ROM or if I'm doing something wrong...

I got an Asus P320 a couple of months ago but having been having too many problems with the piece - the HW seems to be grossly underpowered for WM6. apps open slowly, the phone crashes at least once a day, it suddenly loses the GSM service connection and i have to keep restarting the radio from the comm manager, picking up a call results in several apps opening on thier own (like the clock, calendar...)
I've tried upgrading to the latest WWE ROM (4.15) but the problems still persist. I'd now like to try WM5 on the device to see if it works. Would anyone know how I can port Wm5 to this device? or maybe even Andriod or Linux?
Or would anyone know how to make the damn thing more stable? I tried Pocket Hack master to overclock the CPU and it does seem to work most of the time, but the device still crashes once in a while, and it hasn't stopped multiple apps from opening when I pick up a call.
I hope Asus is reading this coz they've done a pretty bad job on the model by overloading it with wm6 and thier crazy custom apps.
try using hdubli's WM 6.5 ROM. I personaly am feeling a bit diffrence in the performance, the phone just started responding and working faster
P.S. I recomend using the bild from 21.04.2009, because the M2D Rom has many bugs

Hi Helz. Yes, I am doing that, but thanks for the tip on the builds . I've got the M2D build on, and yes - the phone is definitely more stable than before, but it does have bugs. I will try the full build this weekend

due to gsm problem on p320 , let me say, some people has similar problems, and also I .
my observations shows:
fieldtest157 shows only 2 values RSSI and RX Quality.
my experience is that most stable original versions are 415wwe and 416tha.
but still is present problem of temporary "unreachability in gsm network" for cca up to half an hour , if there is some switching between BTS stations.

I was also facing same problem.
SO i install the Latest ROM (problem persist)
I again formated the Phone Reinstall the Latest ROM.
Now it was very Fast. I install Applications of choice (one by one -- then restart Device after every installation)
Now my p320 is as fast as other wm device. applications open very fast.
Dont install Kaspersky or pirated software (most of them will slow the device)
will try to install windows mobile 6.5 (from XDA)
hoping to get official WM6.5 for p320 (when released)

Hey can anyone please give me Android for porting on my P320.......because Windows Mobile is the worst os i hv ever seen.......... An unstable version is also ok till it runs.............i hv tried many like the Android Files for Diamond and Android Eclair........both boot to a certain level in Windows and then the phone switches off..............Please I like Android and I am ready at any cost to put Android on my Phone..................

I bought used diamond which came with cooked rom which I think was most stable rom, I flashed my dm many times to get my gps working but nothing helped I tryied official roms, cooked roms with different radios but cant find suitable (always flashed with mtty to avoid problems). please help me to find rom In which gps will work, will have integrated g-config, ezinput, manila 2.1 (not colored taskbar), and will be STABLE. I tryed many roms with different radios but GPS is not working. I ve tested radios 1.09.25.23 and 1.11.25.01. Even with official rom and official hot fixes from htc,also with htc gps tool and cold start but nothing ...
Considering you did try everything concerning radio and rom, i get the feeling you might have a hardware failure. I've had some GPS problems on various devices but was always able to solve them with the HTC GPS tool.
When and how did your GPS stopped working?
when I bought it gps was not working It came with hspl 1.40 olinex unsigned, and wm6.5. I even tryed garmiin 4 and tom tom 6 without results
i've got the same hspl as you with a wm 6.5 rom on it and a rather old radio (1.13.25.24). No problems using GPS in Googlemaps and TTNavigator (7.916.9189)

Install google maps (if not in included in rom)
update quick gps
Install htc gps tool =>change mode to cold start
go outside and run google maps.

I need your sggestion. I m searching for rom which is wm6.1 with tf3d 2.0 or tf3d 2.1 and very close to official one ??? Or is it possible to uninstall old touch flo from official rom and install 2.1 version or just updae to that version ???
Hi guys. New to the forum.
Here's the deal.
Got a HTC touch diamond (below spec.) last week. Got it second hand and it seem to me it works pritty slugish. I mean it takes like 1-2 seconds before the phone recognize I'm trying to slide on the quick links menu in the bottom. Also the free memory after a cleanRam secion is abt 20 MB. Also smtimes the phone would not respond and nothing would help but removing the battery.
Can you please sujjest what the reason might be is it a bad ROM? Does win 6.1 work better on the Diamond as it comes with it preinstalled? Looking for some advise before changing the ROM.

WM6.1 is not as quick as 6.5, but it should not be taking as long as you are describing to do anything
Chances are there is a piece of software installed making the phone sluggish, you can remove programs just like a PC in the phones settings, have a look down the list and see if there is anything there you dont want
If you choose to upgrade to WM6.5 I highly recommend "BsBG 6.5" from this link
I have tried 100's of ROMs and this is the only one where everything works flawlessly on it (Dont forget to Flash the unlocked Radio and Security unlock the phone before upgrading)
