Hi all,
at the moment i am using the origional cross bow dialer, but its showing up blue,
i would like to change it to black, any ideas ?

i just took a look inside the dialer-cab from zombienexus - there aren't any registrykeys, just 16 files (see attachment)
- so i think you just have to replace these images and you're done ? To be honest - i don't know....
Isn't it this HTC Home ? just noticed that there is already a newer version too (v.2.1.1005.722)

look as u need original dialer from offical rom and just copy 16 files petervbeck uploaded change to default
T-Mobile Dash with RickyWyatt WM6.1, Esmertec Jbed (latest)
In applications like MIDPSSH (v1.7.3), the keys WERSDFXCV are all mapped to numbers. I've encountered this in a few other MIDP applications. Is there a fix for this? This doesn't occur in full-screen text-entry fields - only when in the active application.
In applications like Gmail and Opera Mini, the fonts are "ugly" -- not anti-aliased. Is there a way to correct this? (In Gmail, there's a preference for large fonts, but it doesn't appear to have any effect.)
I've tried searching in the custom search, but haven't been able to find solutions for either of the above.

Your font issue can be sorted by placing the font attached into the Windows Directory and rebooting phone.

It looks like there's another font in the Gmail app that's being called, but isn't present (in the message subjects) -- any idea what font that is?

The following registry settings control the font sizes for apps running in JBed.
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Apps\Esmertec Java\Device Info\Java Font]

You may need to create the Device Info & Java Font keys since they are not created by default. I know they change the font with JBed 20080912_5_1, not sure about older versions.

It appears to work with the latest Esmertec Jbed.
I had some issues with the Menu button fonts looking a little weird.. but I got it worked out. It turns out another font was missing.

I had to use the attached gmail.jad -- the original jad caused the gmail app to reverse the menu buttons.
Upgraded to "VGA Esmertec Jbed 20080912.5.1.cab" and the fonts look great.
TouchFlo Detacher is yet another way to simultaneously have TouchFlo 3D and the regular Today screen. Previous excellent solutions include SecondToday and ManilaControl.
Description
So what makes it different? Well, this app is actually very similar to MastSogo's ManilaControl. The main difference is that the author plans to actively develop it for a while, whereas ManilaControl has been a bit frozen in development for a few months. It is also open source, licensed under the Ms-RL. The program is on CodePlex, so download speeds should be much better than the average rapidshare link. Finally, it is in English and not Spanish. Other than that, it's just another solution for the same problem!

1. Install the CAB
2. Run the configuration app
3. Enable all the standard Today Items you want to use
4. Do not re-enable TouchFlo 3D in the Today items (if you do, it will undo all your other Today plugins)

- Free up your Today screen by hosting Manila outside of the Today screen! TouchFlo Detacher can launch/show/hide/close Manila independent of any other Today screen settings. Now you can have your TouchFlo cake and eat it too! The most obvious use is to assign a soft key to toggle between seeing TouchFlo and seeing the regular Today screen.
- Service runs as a background application (in your StartUp folder) for maximum speed when toggling Manila modes.
- NO ANNOYING SPLASH SCREEN when application launches.
- Service is 100% idle when not receiving messages or controlling TouchFlo, so no CPU is wasted! (Just a tiny bit of RAM)
- Configuration application allows modifying manila.exe location, manila window class, and more, so that this utility can (presumably) be used with other manila versions (such as TouchFlo 2D). This is untested. Out of the box, it supports TouchFlo 3D in its default configuration as seen on the Diamond/Pro/HD.
- Configuration application can clean out the ManilaActivateToday.exe from the notification queue. (That app can interefere with TouchFlo Detacher's operation.)
- Shortcuts to start/show Manila, hide Manila, and close Manila. These can be assigned to hardware buttons (if your device has them) or virtual hardware buttons through the use of 3rd party applications such as AE Button Plus.
- Configuration application can customize the softkeys in both Today and TouchFlo's Home tab. You can use it to not only assign TouchFlo Detacher operations (show/hide/close), but any other application on your device.

i have one question, maybe someone of you have the same problem.
i am running the "non TF3D" screen with Resco today plugin and launcher.....if i try to put a background (via setting Today, use picture as background...) no matter which kind of picture i choose, they are opaque.
cant figure out a solution.

that app is very great. but i got ine problem that the home icon button dont's work, it just has the force feedback.

I have tried WAD2 and Spb Mobile Shell and I like many of the things that those things bring that TF3D doesn't. I like them both, but I have not been able to break away from the TF3D which is one of the major factors I purchased the phone. Now I can have my cake and eat it too. We'll give it a shot! Thanks.
Update - I loaded it and it seems to work great. I loaded back my Spb Mobile Shell and seems to be working nicely between. It did take a few tweaks, but it is running fine. One thing however is that when I am back in TF3D my hard home key doesn't work to bring me back to the TF3D home. Any ideas?
Thanks for the program cardefbel but I am having a problem with it....notice that if I'm using the SPB screen it won't go back to TF3D after 15mins.....if I want my TF3D i need to reboot it.....but if I on the TF3D I can swap to SPB anytime.....
absolutely excellent, having my appointments on the screen with a 1 button press to TF3D is awesome

Are you using SPB mobile shell or SPB pocket plus. I tried to reproduce it with SPB mobile shell, but the switching to TF3D worked for me after 15 mins.
BTW, it's not a program I wrote, found it on the net and realy liked it.

Same issue here .. If anyone has a key..
I prefer to have this button for TF3D Home instead of going back to Today
I haven't seen this anywhere else on this forum, but is anyone else frustrated by the notification bar (top of screen) on the TP2?
On my kaiser I was used to being able to tap on each icon to take me directly into the relevant screen (e.g. Mail, calendar appointment, battery status, volume control or connections screen).
On the TP2 every icon just takes you into 'Notifications' and then you have to click again to go into mail or appointments, but there is no way to the battery, volume control or connections.
Is there any way of restoring the previous functionality of this bar?
Also - (unconnected) anyone know how to change the text colour on the Today screen?

Get a registry editor, and find the key HKLM\Services\NOTIFICATIONMANAGER\Flags. It should be 0 by default - change it to 4. This stops the HTC notification manager running and restores the default WM functionality.

*edit* After hours of trying to find out why my text alerts (custom only) wouldn't ring. I changed the value back to "0" and my text alerts worked again. When I used the HTC stock text tones it would work, but not my custom ones. The phones ringtones and custom ringtones worked fine. Any ideas what would have caused the custom text tones not to work with this registry change?

If you are still having this problem, post the ROM version and the registry editor you are using and I can try to help you make the change to your registry key.

If you install the Topaz Notification Manager it gives you the battery status & an icon that'll bring you to the battery options.

Sorry, I am not familiar with that ROM. You can try using a different registry editor or just use the Topaz Notification Manager like xnifex suggested.

I have a stock T-Mobile Touch Pro2 rom with WM6.5 and Manila 2.1
The options in the lock menu only show windows default and windows classic i just wanna get the original manila lock screen if anyone could tell me how to do tht i would really appreciate it i have attached a picture so everyone could check out what it looks like.

What do you got in the /Windows/Lockscreen directory?
There are a few files in there I have attached a screenshot.

I'm having a problem with my lock screen as well. The unlock screen, more specifically. The phone somehow disabled the slide lock, and I want to know how to re-enable it. Is there a simple way, or is a visit to the phone's registry my only option?
