if possible in french language. thank's a lot

Hi
Firstly let me say welcome to the forum, however there are a lot of new ROM's out there in french.
I am afraid there is a lot of reading to do, firstly I would have a look at this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=299462....an excellent guide on how to flash etc.

confirmation
Hello and thks,
i try to upload the ROM version and i have this picture should i continue or my version is higher then the downloaded version?

That is for installing Hard spl, it's not a rom, it's the boot loader. And it is better than stock, and helps in recovery, if something bad were to happen when you flash.
I suggest that you read quite a bit more before you just go randomly flashing, or looking for the highest build number. Newest isn't always best, and there are tons of custom built roms around here.
Check the wiki, there is tons of information there, and here in the forums already.

yes do readup. you dont want to go ahead flashing recklessly or youll end up with a bricked phone.... which is quite a useless thing to have.

help flashing

Hello all,
I've done some searching around and am getting a little bewildered with what seems like contradictory advice/instructions so can someone please give me a shove in the right direction.......
I have a orange UK kaiser and want to flash it with the full featured rom which will allow the use of touch flo as it was designed. I dont know why orange crippled the device in the first place but hey ho.
I've noticed some ROM's floating about that also add messenger as well as other apps, this is all good but I have no idea on the process of flashing the device, and with some of the posts I've seen on here about radio's not working etc after flashing I thought I better just check with someone who does know.
So i just need maybe a link to a definitive thread/post on flashing this particular phone along with the tools needed.
Here's the details I get when booting the phone up.
R: 1.27.14.32
G: 22.45.88.07h
D: 1.81.00.00
Thanks in advance
Go to kaiser rom development and read the stickies and gweni

Cheers mate, will do

Please help!!

Hi everyone,
I'm very new to the world of cooking or flashing roms etc. I appreciate this will be quite boring to most of you, but I was hoping someone could help me understand the basics. I'm from the UK and have just brought a HTC Touch Diamond on Orange network which I am very happy with. I am however keen on the idea of trying a new, potentially faster ROM. I currently have 1.37.405.1WWE. I have read a lot of good things about Manila and some others on here (elite) but I'm unsure whether to try one or not. My first question is how hard or easy is it to install a new ROM and what could go wrong? Could a newbie potentially ruin my new phone? Can I re-install the old ROM if I don't like the new one? I have read a lot about people doing manual changes etc , but I don't know any coding. Do I need to? I have searched the forum, but couldn't find any answers to such basic questions. Please could someone help me?!?!?
Thanks
It is not very hard to flash your phone with the ROM of your choice and usually it's quite safe as long as you follow the recommended procedure. Installing HardSPL is the first step which will ensure that a cooked ROM will not "brick" your phone. This is flashed as per the normal flashing procedure. Following this, you can choose the ROM you fancy ( I use Bepe's and I am very happy with it) and flash, again using the same procedure. The cooked ROMS are much faster than the stock ROM and usually very stable. Bepe produces 2 version of his ROM, Basic and Premium, whose major difference is that Basic does not include TF3D. Finally you can also flash a Radio ROM if for whatever reason you are not happy with the connectivity features and stability provided by your current ROM.
No coding required to do any of the above.
there is a nice guide here which shows you step by step how to flash a ROM:

direct link to upgrading ROM:

I reckon the "flashing" part of your question has been answered.
Regarding the "cooking" part, what can I say... You won't learn till you do it yourself.
There are a few excellent guides out there (you can start with the xda-dev wiki)
And remember - search is your best friend. Both questions could have been answered if you'd have searched the forum.

How to install a ROM the first time

Hello, I had the P3300 and the first time that i installed B&B 4.1, i had to downgrade the SPL version before ejecute the installer ROM.
Now with the Diamond i donĀ“t know what steps i must to do exactly. I bought it in Vodafone and i would like to install the official version (1.93) or other custom ROM. Please help me on steps that i want to do.
Much thanks!
Jumping on the forums and asking a question that is asked all the time (without first reading) will get you a few responses you probably don't want. But to start you off, read the stickies and go to www.modmydiamond.info to begin with. I think you'll find if you spend some time reading, you'll find your answer.

please help

hi all i have a t-mobile compact iv but it is so slow (as i've read in other posts its to do with the rom).
as a newbie to all this i actually have NO idea what is going on but want to flash with a new rom.
can anybody suggest a suitable rom, and radio (not sure what this is) and also a guide would be magical.
will make a donation to the site if anybody helps me do this!!!!!
thanks alot
Jon
Hi, I'm not really an expert but I've successfully flashed several roms onto my diamond.
Firstly you should read a little over here and see what you must do first. Your phone is branded so you'll need to flash something called Hardspl (It probably unlocks the branded phone) and than you can go to the forum and look for a rom that you like and flash it following the instructions in the post of the above link. Radio rom is important for signal quality, gps signal and definitely battery time. Flashing is safe and easy if you follow the instructions and after you do it Bye

1.12.404.1 nld

CAN ANYONE FIND THIS ROM 1.12.404.1 NLD?
iv been helping a friend for a week now and still no luck, its like it doesnt exist, although, i did find the rom on one site but gotta pay for the download.
he also mentioned ''Gold Card'' im not sure what this is but if anyone knows what to do and wouldnt mind giving me a link or step by step tutorial, this would be a great help.lol
any help will be appreciated.. thank you in advance..
as far as i know, a goldcard is nothing more then the correct rom stored on a SD-card.. it was a way for a lot of commercial people to generate money for bricked devices.
i dont have the image u want though, so im sorry, cant help
you already have helped, lol i read a post this mornin, basicly what you just told me but was unsure because the post was about a differant phone, model etc..
so the only chance to get my friends artemis back to life is with the official rom..
theres plenty of people on this site, (most helpfull, some not lol) but someone out there must have the official nld rom!
cheers..
bricked phone
You can unbrick the phone using a sd card of max. 2 Gb. Search on the formum, i don't remember the exact steps. Basicly, put the rom you want to use on the root of the card, enter the flashmode with the rainbow collored screen and choose the card. Then the flash starts. You can enter the flashmode using the software tool, or use the buttons on your device. For step by step see http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=Artemis_SD_Card_Flashing
Good Luck.
Did you already searched the wiki? All links are there, although they are outdated.
