First of all, credit goes to the original ROM author - jasjamming
Based on the Black v3.0.1, I have changed the following:
- Remove English SIPs (Letter Recognizer, Block Recognizer etc).
- Set Keyboard SIP as default.
- Included Windows CHT IME (M$ Phonetic & Chajei).
- Included Windows CHS IME (M$ PinYin).
- Included Windows JPN IME (M$ Kana & Romaji).
- Included PIM Backup v1.9.0.0
- Added CommManagerVibrateFix.
- Applied WM VI Black Update BT Drivers.cab.
- Added mingliu font, change wince.nls for Chinese/Japanese/Korean support (Korean need proper fonts).
- Added ClearTemp v0.9.2.4.
- Enabled NITZ time sync by default.
- HTC X-Button/Task Manager updated to v1.5.
- Replaced IA_Zip with PocketRAR v3.6 (freeware)
- Added VistaHide Battery Bar.
- Added SIP_CHT, SIP_CHS, SIP_JPN cab files for change SIPs (located in \Windows\)
- Replaced built-in MobileCalculator to Eval.
- Upgraded Office to 2007 version. (support docx, xlsx, pptx etc)
I've also included 3 cab file in the \Windows folder -- SIP_CHT.cab SIP_CHS.cab SIP_JPN.cab
Please remember to install one of the cab file to enable the inputs (soft reset after installation), otherwise only english input is available.

I just installed the rom, and I notice that the font size is funny. The default size for the menu item does not change even if i change it in the screen adjustment screen (Settings-> system -> Screen). This does not happen with your old rom...

Hi, I realised this problem too, it is due to a reg key for chinese to enable "line break" (not sure if you have seen this problem on the previous version or not), if you use PIE to visit chinese/japanese websites, the text would not break into lines properly.
Once I added change the reg key the line break problem solved.
what you can do is change the reg key back to english one, use the RegEdit problem in System, find the key called "SystemLCID", change the value from 404 to 409 and do a soft reset, should fix your problem
X01HT Installed and Working Well!
Well done Ricky, awesome job. I found the Japanese input pretty painful, as it didn't have the correct romaji option, instead the layout for a true Japanese keyboard, which the X01HT doesn't have.
I used Asukal's one (tried to upload, but no go) and that is exactly as it should be. You might look at replacing your's with that one.
I will let you know how it goes as I run it through its paces, but its looking impressive so far.

Thanks Ricky.. I notice text break problem too, and this happens even with regular English rom + CE-Star.. so I guess we can only choose no line breaks, or weird font size... :-\
I've been runing the ROM ever since it went up and haven't had to do a reset yet, whereas with the straight Black 3.01 with the hacks to get it using Japanese, I found myself resetting 5 or more times a day.

flashed this no prob. used it to replace 3des + CE Star, which was a very unstable combination.
this is working great. fine job Ricky, and also to whoever did black. Nice ROM. I love my phone again.
anyone know where there is a manual on the input methods. they take some getting used to after CEStar, a manual would help.

Really , just can't enable kansaku & tegaki. On 3.5 & all the new released roms.
Yes. All versions > 2.5 seemed not support SIP switching.
I guess some REGISTRY changed.
I switched to LVSW two weeks ago.

Removed the annoying Ms welcome & manual screen calibration after every upgrade/flash/hard-reset, now is pre-configured so don't take care anymore
sUC (aka suiller's UC) is included (detailed sUC review/instructions) with it of course all Dia Duit features: speed profile selection, automatic backup (favourite manila people too), gps profile selection, planned auto-reboot, ramdisk, mobile upx (upxlist.txt), personal tweaking (by reg files now) + all the "safe" battery/speed tweaks I collected in several years, 3/4 rows selection, mail + attachments & documents moved to "Internal Storage", etc... note: the rom is fully UC/UC2 compliant too
Modded smooth violet buttons in keypad, commmanager, calculator & usbtopc applications, menu enhance
Connection Setup is NOT included, you can find 3 versions in extra cab repository (at top page): 1st from 2.00 rom (China included), 2nd from 2.03 (China NOT present) & the 3rd is the Topaz porting; install one of them like a standard cab (put always in your CAB folder); if you install/uninstall separately remember to restart to see changes
Steps to proceed with this ROM installation (only 1st time) :
before flash read here carefully all news related to sUC (because is included & active)
download latest rom from one of the mirror specified at top page and look in my signature for a fast upgrade procedure
after rom installation sUC will start asking you: configure general speed & GPS profiles; remove ActiveSync time change queue (stop popup every 5 min); left/right softkey configuration; CAB & CABi + REG + EXE + CPY installation/execution (as mentioned above) + upx compression phase, then choose backup method & eventually load a restore, restore previous saved Start Menu and for finish reboot to apply changes
then you can re-organize shortcuts in your "\windows\Start Menu" directory to fit your needs, then run the script "backupStartMenu", this will make a copy of your "final" start menu directory, useful to preserve your original Start Menu structure (in this way it can be restored automatically on next flash)
the last important folder (always under "Backup and Restore" directory) is "pimbackup", under this directory will be saved automatic pim backups during night (contacts/sms/call logs/et cetera)
some notes to know :
I don't like to get out every time the stylus, in my way the phone should be easily used with just one hand, so this rom is designed, where possible, to be used just with fingers: vertical bar is fatter, icons are more spaced & system font is bigger
pimbackup is enabled to make scheduled (automatic) backups every day at 4.00AM, remember for 1st to make a restore at 1st installation (a menu will presented at 2nd boot for this)
to speed up a bit the whole system & get off ActiveSync popping up every 5 minutes answer "OK" when asking to remove ActiveSync time change queue (of course ActiveSync will work normally when connected trough usb cable) & remember also to disable automatic checks (from AS application select Menu, then Schedule & put both to Manual, close tapping X & launch recover ram script... this will close automatically AS & will clean the queue)
about upx compression only exe files coming from cab installation can be compressed, existing exe files (cooked in the rom) can't be touched
I strongly suggest to upgrade your radio version too (I'm currently using 1.13.25.24, anyway find your best), 03 & 05 are really outdated, if you don't know where find new/good/tested radios download always at CAB repository (at top page or in my signature)
DO NOT remove the (automatic created) hibernation file "SwapImgDoNotRemove" because it's a copy of your cache, NOR remove files inside Ramdisk (the original cache) & neither remove MAIL folder under "Internal Storage\Backup and Restore" because from V05 mails are stored there
CAB installation is made seeking alphabetic sort, so keep it in mind when installing cabs that need a specific sequence
keep in mind that many cabs to work properly need to be installed into main memory (so not CABi)
CABi installation isn't perfect & doesn't work with languages different from ENG/USA, it work at 100% with simple cabs such as games, sometimes it fails on complex cab (license accept & various boring confirmation... such as iGO)
to restore the boot image (splash) to the original one (all black) simply download & install this package
special keyboard note: there is ONLY ms-keyboard as default, this because any keyboard set takes a lot of memory & registry becomes fatter, so install just the one you prefer (look always at repository below or in my signature)... so for example you can choose between FingerKeybd (very nice, download from XDA & here a simple guide to restore automatically after every flash) or Rhodium_EzInput (add Rhodium_EzEngine to have also T9 support... this T9 library works also with FingerKeybd) & above all remember that must installed during 1st setup, so don't install manually but copy your cabs in the CAB folder
WHY ALL THIS PROCEDURE?? in few words... I was very tired to re-install everything from scratch after a new installation/flash... so I thought about an easy way to have a fast & real "restore" after every flash

no no that version isn't "newer"... that version is different because isn't native for diamond but it was adapted (from raphael if I remember well) but has some (small) bugs, the last one for diamond is 1.1.34575..., anyway there is no need to use the adapted one ver 1.2 because benchmarks speak clearly, there aren't significant speed improvements

sure, simply create a called: "CAB" directory in you storage card (the BIG one), then copy all your cabs in that directory and then you can proceed to flash this rom

well, opera wasn't included for 2 reasons, the 1st one because many don't like it, they prefer skyfire for example, the 2nd because the version included in this original rom was a bit outdated, so you can download from here the latest beta version of Opera mobile, I'm using it from 2 days and it works very well

nice addons and feels very fast.
there's a bug in the phone settings from comm manager.
i cannot close the settings the normal way.
so all settings beside services cannot be saved.
any solution for this?

I just insatlled the TF3D config on my X1 downloaded elsewhere from this wonderful forum including HD Themes and backgrounds pictures collected from the forum. It worked like charm on my X1 updated with Touch-IT X1 M-HD 1.1. Just wanted to share with all.

But....I've tried it and it crashes on mine with a Null reference error.

I know I can press left and right button and soft restart = hard restart but is there a way to fix this without hard reset?

Yup, Killed my touch screen as well. Not recommended to use yet.
If you use the slide out keyboard, you can use the windows key and the d-pad to navigate to settings/system/remove programs

Try and delete the tweaks-file in the applications folder.

no problem running this on my x1
if you download the cab file from my XION ROM THREAD; THE ONE CALLED DIAMOND.... for xperia.cab it will work perect, and with the tweaks, but be carefule with the tweaks, as some work and some dont, some makes you have to hardreset the phone, and thats the performence tweaks.

If I remember correctly you have to be careful to untick TF3D from Today, then install & reset, then tick TF3D back.
Worked fine on mine EXCEPT it seems to have screwed up the "People" tab, I can't add any contact but still can access the menu (I've also added the "Comm Manager" Tab").
Anyone has the same problem? a fix??
this tools is intended for a previous version of a previous version of the first version of tflo3d that we currently have on our device... so make your conclusions.
It should works on some parts but I strongly discourage you to use it

I did delete the tweak.xml file, but still get the same error.

New 3VOLUTION series ROMS! I cooked up these ROMS with packages from the new HTC SNAP. The new 3VOLUTION series of Smartphone ROMS will give all new life to our older devices. And since the CAV has a pretty fast CPU and descent RAM, it runs very well. Give it a run and please report any bugs found.
This ROM only flashes your phones Operating System and Splash screens. Your radio is seperate and will not be modified. I have not tested this ROM on Dopod devices, only HTC. Please flash, test, report, and enjoy!

I know that for some, as for me, the Bluetooth problem is major. If anyone wants to take a stab at it and help find a fix, by all means, please do! I think it has something do to with btdrt.dll not registering properly.
Flashing instructions (Remove the SD card!!):
1. HardSPL Recommended! See here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=398945
2. Download and unzip the file
3. Run RomUpdateUtility.exe
4. Follow the prompts
5. The flash will take about 8-10 minutes
6. Upon first boot, it will seem frozen for a few minutes, maybe even go black. This is NORMAL!
7. Enjoy!
In case something goes wrong:
1. Remove the battery and the SD Card--> Put ONLY the battery back in.
2. While holding the camera button, press the power button
3. The multicolor boot screen will pop up
4. Plug in the USB cable and flash back your shipped (HTC or Dopod) ROM
5. Find out what went wrong and reflash this new ROM properly

One small problem
Love this ROM, looks great, works very well for the most part, only one small problem I've found so far. When I open the start menu it shows recent items, but when you use the left softkey to open "All Programs" the button flashes, but nothing changes, you are just stuck at the recent items menu. You can't get to any other installed apps... Would love it if a fix were available...

I am using the DOPOD C730. Just for the heck of it I re-flashed the ROM to my phone. That did seem to fix the issue, now when I press the "All Programs" softkey, the menu expands and shows all installed programs. Confirming that bluetooth does not work with this ROM on the DOPOD C730 either. WiFi works ok, and other features seem good. I'll report anything else I find as well. So you guys can ignore my previous post about the programs menu, its working after a ROM re-flash.

I just rebooted my phone and noticed that this ROM appears to expire. I get a message saying this concludes the beta test of this software. I can't get past it and am going to re-flash the original ROM for now. Looking forward to a final build of this ROM to use!
I've got the same problem as joe- I'll bet htc put an expiration date on the rom. One (temporary) workaround would be to set an incorrect, earlier date, I suppose. But otherwise, an awesome rom! Great job!

Tell me or by the keyboard may not work at all, for example, on my Samsung
oh, and also none of my apps seem to be able to use data. I did auto configure for at&t, and IE can get online, but neither skyfire, facebook, or seven email seem to be able to use the data connection.
Good to know that this ROM has a Time Bomb. On the other hand, how's the battery life?

This might be due to the Home Screen timeout issue I am battling. Goes to "the layout cannot be loaded" after letting it sit at idle for a while. Try unchecking the "show recent programs" box in Home Screen settimgs. I am working on a permanent fix. Uploading another test version right now for you guys to try. Bluetooth fixed!!!! Please test A2DP, etc...

WOW! You guys got that "time-bomb" It also happened to Excalibur users with NRG's Energy ROM. I am uploading a new version now with SYS 21048 that is not going to expire... (hopefully)

Thats weird. I use 3G data with everything. Outlook, email, IE, Google Maps, etc. Check to make sure its set to use either Internet Connection or Media.net if on AT&T. Uploading 1.01 now. Check the first post for the link.

Introduction:
The ROM that I use, was cooked by me.
MY ROM (GHOST)_OG69_1.0_ITA – DR_3D
VERS. LAST SYS - 29020
I think it still works on other roms.
This cab OG69_ITA_hdmini_land_dialer allows 360 ° rotation of the dialer pad.
In addition to other applications.
The fluidity of the rotation depends on another program-G-ROTATOR--and its calibration
Vers.1.0 extract the Council as.
I have already tested both vers. 1.4 and 1.3 but should crash.
The 1.0 works very well calibrated.
I recommend this calibration: sentivity 7 - timer duration 500.
MEMORY USAGE: Vers 1.0 occupies about 800KB of memory resident. But I repeat, is very stable!
The vers. 1.3 is immediately after the 1.0 the best. But every now and then go to system crash. The vers.1.3 instead occupies only 230kb of memory resident.
The 1.4 (latest relase) should immediately crash. Very bad.

I have just flashed back to my original HTC HD Mini WWE 1.36.707.3 rom and it already has landscape mode for dialer by default.
Could it be that your rom does have the latest cprog which doesn't have landscape mode?
If you read my thread above, I already wrote that with only G-.rotator, does the dialer pad, but from my tests, not running, receiving and transmitting calls. You can see that on the HTC site these are the versions for Europe rom:

your rom (1.36.707.3 WWE rom), I think both WWE stock ROM ASIA (not for the European market.) As above, I think it is different to the one I used.
I tested it also NSOURM ROM (plus package from ASIA WWE) and the same result as my ROM ITA.
Hmmm .... I did a testing on my current nsourm WWE 3.0 rom and cprog was able to receive and make call while in landscape mode, maybe it was due to the program used for rotation ..... I'll try it again using g-rotator tonight.

I have them talked about the dialer cab!
Keep in mind that if you install my file (OG69 hdmini_land_dialer.cab ITA) and then remove the cab, the application is actually installed. . To take the test you have to give a hard reset first!
p.s. cprog file is always the same ........
In post 6 I did mention about cprog working in landscape mode and at that time I thought it was due to nsourm rom and I was simply suggesting alternative app for rotation in post 10.
So in order to test this dialer pad(cprog), I did a hard reset on my phone and then flash back to my original HTC HD Mini WWE 1.36.707.3 to test out this dialer pad with G-rotator 1.3 and to my surprise, original HTC rom dialer pad also support landscape which I assumed not based on your discussion in this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1058967.
Currently I flashed to nsourm WWE 3.30 rom and tried to recreate the issue you mention above which is unable to receive and make a call during landscape mode but mine does not encounter this problem.
p.s: I've never install OG69_HDMINI_Eng_Land_dialer.cab as of yet because I'm trying to recreate the issue of unable to make and receive call during landscape.

because my rom does not work in landscape without my cab!!
