I've tried looking for my problem, but I couldn't find the answers. If there is my apologies for making a new thread.
When I watch a movie or something, after couple of seconds (30 as in my setup has been set) it goes right back to my password screen and stops the video playback. Besides changing the setup on my HD, is there a way (register edit or something) to stop the password screen from appearing while I'm watching a video in HTC Album??
Sorry for my bad english.

Hi, I tried to search but couldn't find anything about this problem.
The other day I was trying to record video at a kid's birthday party, and the video was somewhat long, around 6-7 minutes. Without any warning, the video stopped recording and went straight to the home screen. I tried to play the video file, but it shows up as a gray box on the phone and doesn't play on either my phone or my computer. I tried various video players.
This happened to me again, I went up to wine country and was taking a video from my car mount of the scenery as I drove down the windy roads. I stopped one video at around 5-6 minutes, the second one I didn't stop it that soon and the phone went to home screen again. Video was unplayable, same as last time.
I tried to replicate the issue recording videos, tried to push the home screen or any other buttons to replicate the issue - all times the video saved if you stopped the recording one way or another. I even tried to send myself an email to see if notifications could stop the video, didn't do anything. I recorded till around 7 minutes, and the phone went to home screen around 6:52. Same result as before.
All the files that were unplayable weren't unusually large, around 300-355 megs I believe. I'm running the stock 8gb card, and I'm rooted with baked snack 9.6. Free space on card was around 3-4 gigs each time, free space on phone roughly 80 mb. I'm using mpeg-4, all other videos I record are fine.
So is there anyways to fix this problem? It's kind of hard to always stop the phone at the right time to avoid this, and I'm wondering what's causing it in the first place. Could it be that the phone's ram is reaching capacity?
Hey guys,
Quick question on the stock video player. I have found that every once in a while, while playing a video in full-screen, that the video freezes while the audio keeps playing. Whenever this happens, the screen and buttons are both locked up, and the only way to get control of my phone back is to do a hard reset (hold down power for a few seconds). This has only happened to me when I'm in full-screen mode. A cursory search through the forums brings up similar issues on other devices (not all Samsung devices), with no answers to the questions.
I've checked to see if the videos themselves were corrupted, but it has never frozen in the same place twice (and now that I think about it, it has never frozen in the same video twice). Most of the videos I'm watching were downloaded from youtube using Tubemate v1.05.45.
I am currently running Clark's FreeGS3 v3.0.0 with stock kernal, but this same error has occurred with other Roms, and with other kernals (one being The People's Rom GS3.08).
If anyone has any information on what this might be, please let me know!
UPDATE:
The same screen-freezing just happened again, but this time when the video was not in full-screen. Just a heads up for any and all trouble-shooters that this is most-likely not limited to full-screen video playback.
Hi All,
1st time on here. Puzzled to this problem, struggling for a solution.
When recording video under water (under 1m) and its great, however when the phone exits the water, the video automatically stops recording.
Is there a way round this? I'm stumped on this.
Any help would be great, thank you
The phone doesn't have this functionality built in, it shouldn't happen.
Have you tried rebooting it?

Hi. Its a common problem when your using a phone in water. The touchscreen goes crazy due to the water. There are a few solutions to this.
1. The method i use. I have turned on volume buttons for clicking pics or video recording in camera settings. after doing that i installed touch lock. it basically locks your touch screen so that the water does not make certain parts of your screen get pressed and stop the recording. so start recording using volume buttons and then lock the touchscreen. ur recording wont stop.
2. download a spycam software like scos that can record videos when screen is off or make it take pics in interval. turn it oon and turn of screen.
3. Thr are apps made for underwater recording. but the good ones have only picture taking ability. some of the others arent that great while taking pics.
i had this issue with my a7. it would be fine for first 10 mins. but after that when i start recording n go underwater it would stop. i tried all 3 and im most comfortable with 1st one as i prefer using the stock camera app.
I've noticed that, especially in Twitter and Facebook, when I try to watch a video on my 5T, it takes the phone 18-22 seconds to switch to HD. The first 20 or so seconds, the videos play in pixelated Standard Def. This happens on wifi as well as 4G, whereas my old LG G3 plays the same videos in HD right from the start. Anyone have an idea why the 5T can't do that or what I can do about it?
The problem seems to be gone in YouTube or when playing embedded video in the browser.
Thanks!
+1
I've been having this issue since OP3. Hasn't figured out how to fix it.
Hello everyone,
I am using a 65OLED903/12 on android 8 and have an odd issue: when I am watching 4K UHD HDR content (does not matter which app is doing tha playback), I do get quick black screen blips from time to time. The screen goes totally black for a fraction of a second and then continues the plaback. This behavior is sometimes reproducable to specific scenes in the playback. I observed the issue some time ago and am not realy sure which stream caused this, I just remebered to ask about this.
Did or does anyone else experience this behavior?
Cheers
