I think i have been messing up with the themes and otehr UI tweaks. Now i have a little problem : i the contact name or phone number doesn't show when i have an incoming call.
I might be because the font color is white and hte background is white.
Any idea how to fix that ? Which manila file or reg tweak i need to do ?

Incoming call - Phone number showing a different type of letter
My problem is that in incoming call and in hd tweak the type of letter is diferent from the original. How can i change it.

Caller Name, Caller number is what required to be changed, That solved my problem. Try it & let me know if I can be of any help, its very simple.

Has anyone experienced when a call comes in while on a call that the call id does not match to the contact on the phone?
If I am on a call and wife calls from "Home" it will not show HOME just the number...it happens about 4/5 times...

I think your description is a little off as well - the caller ID is working, but it is not matching the caller ID number to the phonebook entry. Mine is not happening very frequently, about 1 out of 10 calls, but it's still very annoying.
sometimes ur book has the +1 country code, but the incoming doesnt.
although my phone recognizes right either.

Guys anyone know how to display number type during incoming caller id?
Example: If I have custom fields..work#1,work#2, I want to see where the person is calling me from, not just his name and number.

I just bought a P6 and directly upgraded to B506 (so, for the comments that follow, I have no prior status to compare against).
What I noticed is that for all incoming calls, only the phone number is shown and not the caller id. For example, I created a contact 'John Doe' for my home phone number and placed a call. Phone number shows up, 'John Doe' does not. Same behavior when I replaced my home phone number (fixed line number) with my wife's mobile phone number.
Furthermore, when I checked the Dialer for the 'missed' call, same story: it shows the number, not the caller id.
At first, I thought that this behavior is attributed to my mobile Telco provider. Then, I downloaded and used a dialer from Play Store (Swipe Dialer Pro). Swipe Dialer's list of recent calls does show the caller id !
So, has anyone else experienced that ? Any clues on what might be causing this behavior on the stock dialer and how it can be resolved ?

Hello people, I'm facing a weird issue with my HTC dialer:
- with no linked contacts, the dialer picks up the correct contact name for respective phone number (with or without country code)
- when a contact has his/her phone number in Facebook/Linkedin & linked with my google contacts, HTC dialer fails to recognize the caller
- for contacts with no phone number in their Facebook/Linkedin profile, HTC dialer doesn't have any issue in identifying the caller
Hope I didn't sound too confusing
Haven't experinced such an issue/bug with any of my previous HTC devices
Anybody experiencing this? I am on stock 2.22.401.4
at least somebody could let me know if he/she experiences or doesn't

Its already set to YES which is the default setting.
Experience the same issue when I receive a call, don't think its related to dialing settings.

I have the same problem. I am not sure whether it is related to linked contacts or not since some of my linked contacts appear correctly while others face the problem.
What I also noticed, is that if the took the number from the log, copied it the same format then pasted in the contact replacing the old number (which is almost the same), the problem is solved for that contact.
Factory reset does not solve the issue by the way so do not waste your time and data.
No other observations.
Hope someone can help in solving that issue.

How to show while making a call or when I have an incoming call the organization/company name.
I mean when I have an incoming call the name surname and phone number are shown but the organization/company name is not visible like on other phones (the organization/company name is written under the contact details).
Is there a setting which I missed?
