Well i know surface kitchen, you could download it. Take your .raw files into "BaseRom".. Then run the !Begin.bat and then you choose "2" ?..
After it's done, you just press !cook.bat .. Good luck.
already did that.. doesnt work .. it seems maybe either the ruu im placing in the folder isnt ok .. or maybe its because after i press cook i get a send / dont send message from one of the exes ... dunno .. the thing is the end result is nothing..

I bought a used HTC s630 from ebay. The guy said that it would freeze at the loading screen. When i got it i did a hard reset using the 2 softkeys and power button. Worked for a while, then when i went to use it again and turned it on it goes to the homescreen but i cant do anything. When i press any keys the keyboard lights up but thats all.when i plug in the charger the battery icon on the screen shows that its charging but thats the only change. Im thinking that if i flash the shipped rom again itll fix it, but i cant seem to find it anywhere? any ideas please????
try upgrading the rom? Maybe that would help?
If you go to xda Wiki there is a Dopod C730 rom there.
Also, Curzz has cooked a bunch of awesome WM6.1 roms, you can try loading that.
to do that i need to do the hard spl so i can load diff roms other than htc's, and to do that i need to app unlock[ it which requires it to be connected through active sync. i tried loading others but i get error codes like 290 which is incalid vendor id. the only solution that i can see right now is to flash the shipped rom though the bootloader. does anyone have the shipped htc WM6 rom?
I have an original HTC S630 (Branded HTC) with original WM 6 rom, but I dunno how to copy my rom on to the computer, if you can tell me how to do it, I'll be happy to do it for you

I have tried that procedure before and it did not work.
Have you tried going to the agent in Cairo, JoviTronics? You could ask them to re-install the rom again.
Did you buy your phone from Vodafone?
I actually live in america. I bought the phone used from ebay. I just called htc and they say its still under warranty, but i want to try and fix it myself before sending to them. maybe cruzz has a copy of the rom?
what error did u get when u tried extracting the rom?

Not sure .... u can do a hard spl? if can u can try use mtty to check if the os has bad sector. U can get the link on how tos at the sticky thread "for newbie...."

thing is i cant do hardspl without app unlock which needs activesync. thats why im tryin to find the htc shipped rom
so it turns out that the phone i bought off of ebay for 30 dollars was broken, but lucky me it was still under warranty. i sent it to htc for repair and they replaced the entire board for me free!! waiting for it to be delivered, then ill pull the htc wm6.0 rom off of it for u guys.

I've read all posts on the issue because it seems to be a common one , here's the story, I received this phone from a friend already bricked , what happens wen I try turnin it on it just stuck in booting
I can't hard reset
I can't flash, I either get invalid vendor I'd or model Id. Or curropt file ,
I already kno its not cid unlocked and apparently no form of unlocking was done to it ,
But in its current state what can be done , because I've tried everything already within my knowledge
One other issue is I don't kno what is the stock rom for it so I can't flash without getting invalid vendor I'd , it unbranded and just says htc ,

all i can think of is download the htc ROM (in the official roms sticky)since its an unbranded phone and hold camera while powering on and flash. sorry I cant be much help in this area, just and idea I dont know if you tried it yet.

Did you CID unlocked your device before? If so, try an original rom from the sticky posted in the first page.
it wasnt
but its offficial now i tried all the roms there
none works
Then CID unlock it now. . .That's the problem for why you cant use any other ROMs.

there is still no way to cid it because i cant in the stock rom for it
it keeps telling me invalid vendor id or model id

My recommendation is that you contact your carrier and see if they can flash it to an original rom. HTC also can provide you a solution and hopefuly they can give you the original rom of your excalibur.

It's not a dead case, if you can get it to bootloader your S621 is not dead try again to flash in different PC's and see what happens. See this thread it may be helpful http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=534725 because it definitely gives you hope.
Try this:
* Shut Down the device
* hold down the camera button located to the right of the space bar for like 10 seconds,
* while still holding it down plug the USB in and you should see the menu come up with three colors.
* This is where you load your original ROM and can connect with ur PC .......
* perform Install the OLD ROM (After Installation page seems to be stuckon T-Mobile Logo but give it 1-2 Minuts and it will switch to Cold Boot Device configuration)
* make sure @ll is ok : then Reboot
* Install the Updated one from NRG

first charge the battery with an external battery charger(you must buy one) and then flash any firmware to make it bootable and wait for a us firmware.

don't do anything , just remove your battery and put it again and charge it with motorola wall charger . thats it .. its done

that doesnt help anything, since the battery is not charged enough to flash the phone, and pulling it in and putting in back again wont charge it.

This is stock eclair (android 2.1) after you flash it you can do OTA update to official froyo!
BTW: US stock eclair 2.1 has CG=4 so you can always flash this eclair SBF regardless of what rom you are coming from unless you flash SBF with CG=5 which is what the FULL GB sbf's are. Never flash full GB sbf unless you don't plan on ever downgrading.
also some details before understand my problem
all was working fine with venom rom 2.5 then i thaught lets update it to 3.2 .i just updated it but as written wifi will not work if i dont update my firmwere ..i didnt so wifi didnt work then i just have no time to update it i put old 2.5 Venom rom inside my sd card and installed it with backups .....
now the problem starts everytime when i restart my phone the screen goes stuk on htc strat scrren with some red lines i treid to do everything install many times venom rom but still same happend now i cant just let my phone go off i have to wake it up all the time i mean i cant shut it down otherwise roms gone or currupted
now the question is what i have to do can someone explain please do i root it again or what i have to do i have no idea now
i just want my m8 on coustom rom back i like to sale it and buy someother .
so can someone tellme how to install costom rom with no problems and restart problems or this htc scrren with red lines how to remove it

With all the time and worries you have had you could update your Firmware and flash Viper 3.2 from scratch, and that's what i would do.

Not the best link when he is just asking about firmware.
Are you S-Off or S-On?
If S-On, go to this thread to find firmware for your MID and CID. They MUST match, or the firmware won't flash properly.
If you are S-Off, the method in this thread is the absolute easiest way to update your firmware. This is the method I use.
